In-tank suction filter as the reserve cavity for a fluid delivery module assembly

A fuel delivery module is located inside a fuel tank and supplies fuel from the fuel tank to the engine. An in-tank suction fluid filter has a filter body made of combination material layers with porous material and filtration material. An in-tank suction fuel filter functions to filter the fuel and holds a reservoir of fuel for supplying to the fuel pump. The in-tank suction fuel filter acts as the reservoir cavity needed to have a constant supply of filtered fuel available to the fuel pump. The in-tank suction fuel filter has a freeform body that can move upward or downward with thermal expansion of the fuel while maintaining constant contact with the bottom of the fuel tank.

A fuel transfer system for use with a motor vehicle includes a stationary module configured for permanent installation in the motor vehicle and a portable module configured for a detachable connection to the stationary module. The stationary module has a fuel fitting arranged in fluid communication with the fuel line between the fuel sending unit and the engine, a first fuel conduit connected to the fuel fitting and to a first transfer connector. A first normally closed valve is arranged in the first transfer connector. The first transfer connector is configured to be secured to a motor vehicle, for example next to a fill neck behind a filler door of the vehicle. The portable module has a second fuel conduit having a second transfer connector on one of two ends and a fueling nozzle connected to the other one of the two ends of the second fuel conduit.

Self propelled agricultural application machine

A self-propelled agricultural application machine includes a chassis which carries a storage tank for the material to be applied. The chassis has a central longitudinal beam from which at least a pair of wheels is suspended. A transversely-extending boom assembly is suspended from the longitudinal beam. An engine is located to one side of the longitudinal beam and has an output drive shaft connected through the longitudinal beam to hydraulic pumps. The narrow chassis allows steerable wheels to be positioned at tolerable track widths while permitting a large steering angle and thus small turning radii.

A fuel dispensing system is disclosed to be equipped to a vehicle and to dispense fuel from the vehicle. The system includes a fuel tank, a selectively activated dispensing pump, a retractable flexible fuel line connected to the pump enabling storage of the fuel line within a body of the vehicle, and a dispensing nozzle attached to the fuel line.

Tank assembly

A tank assembly includes a tank, at least one pressure relief valve, at least one heat transmission path, and at least one heat transmission element. The at least one pressure relief valve is configured to allow a pressure relief of the tank when a temperature threshold value at the pressure relief valve is exceeded. The heat transmission path and the pressure relief valve are connected via the at least one heat transmission element. The heat transmission element is changeable with respect to the heat transmission between the heat transmission path and the pressure relief valve.

OPENING-CLOSING APPARATUS FOR FUEL TANK

There is provided an opening-closing apparatus for a fuel tank. The opening-closing apparatus for the fuel tank comprises a fuel passage-forming portion configured to form a fuel passage that is arranged to introduce a supplied liquid fuel to the fuel tank; an insertion-side opening-closing mechanism configured to open and close the fuel passage; a tank-side opening-closing mechanism located on a fuel tank side of the insertion-side opening-closing mechanism and configured to open and close the fuel passage; a liquid discharge path configured to allow for communication of a portion of the fuel passage between the insertion-side opening-closing mechanism and the tank-side opening-closing mechanism with outside of the opening-closing apparatus; and an open-close valve configured to open and close the liquid discharge path and to be opened toward the outside of the opening-closing apparatus. This configuration of the opening-closing apparatus for the fuel tank reduces the dust and the like invaded from outside into the fuel passage which a liquid fuel passes through.
