11572268 · 2023-02-07 · ·

A refueling system has a fuel tank, a sealing member, a camera, and a controller. The fuel tank includes a main chamber. The sealing member is disposed between the main chamber and the atmosphere. The sealing member is configured to selectively move between a first position in which the fluid communication between the fuel tank and atmosphere is allowed and a second position in which fluid communication with atmosphere is inhibited. The camera is configured to retrieve an image of a fuel source within a predetermined proximity of the fuel tank. The controller is configured to actuate the sealing member in response to an evaluation of the image determining that fuel from the fuel source is consumable with the fuel tank.

VARIABLE VOLUME DEVICE, SEALED TANK SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING BELLOWS

A bellows includes a bellows structure portion on a tubular member. An internal space of the tubular member to an internal space of a fuel tank by the coupling port of the bellows. The bellows structure portion includes a first portion, a second portion, and a coupling portion. The first portion protrudes outward in the radial direction of the tubular member. The second portion is recessed inward in the radial direction relative to the first portion. In a cross section along the central axis of the tubular member, each of the first portion and the second portion is formed in an arc shape and the coupling portion makes the first portion couple to the second portion without any singularity. Here, the central angle of each of the first portion and the second portion of the bellows structure portion is greater than 180 degrees. With the result that the length of the bellows structure portion in the axial direction is increased over a predetermined range without the outermost diameter of the first portion and the innermost diameter of the second portion being significantly changed.

Fuel tank system for vehicle and abnormality diagnosis method of the fuel tank system

A fuel tank system for a vehicle includes a fuel tank, a fuel supply passage, a canister, an evaporated fuel gas supply passage, a communication passage, a backflow prevention device, first and second pressure measurement devices, and a control device. The fuel tank stores fuel supplied by the fuel supply passage. The canister adsorbs evaporated fuel gas generated in the fuel tank and supplied through the evaporated fuel gas supply passage. The backflow prevention device is provided in a pipe line of the fuel supply passage, and prevents a backflow of the fuel from the fuel tank. The first and second pressure measurement devices respectively measure pressures in the fuel supply passage and the evaporated fuel gas supply passage. The control device diagnoses the communication passage as being blocked when a difference between pressure values measured by the first and second pressure measurement devices exceeds a predetermined value.

Apparatus for purging fuel evaporation gas in fuel system

An apparatus is provided for purging fuel evaporation gas in a fuel system. The apparatus increases an amount of fuel evaporation gas that is desorbed from a canister during driving of an engine, and thus prevents fuel evaporation gas adsorbed to the canister from being discharged to the atmosphere.

PARTICULATE FILTRATION DEVICE, FUEL VAPOR RECOVERY SYSTEM, VEHICLE AND METHOD FOR A PARTICULATE FILTRATION

A vehicle and a fuel system for a vehicle are provided. The fuel system has a fuel tank, a fuel fill inlet fluidly connected to the fuel tank to receive fuel dispensed from an external fuel supply device, and a recirculation line with a first end fluidly connected to the fuel fill inlet and a second end fluidly connected to the fuel tank. An ejector is positioned within the recirculation line. A valve fluidly connects the ejector to the fuel tank via a drain line. A method of fueling a vehicle is also provided.

Shovel

A shovel includes a lower traveling body, an upper turning body turnably attached to the lower traveling body, a boom pivotably attached to the upper turning body, an arm pivotably attached to the boom, an engine mounted on the upper turning body, a hydraulic pump mounted on the upper turning body, a fuel tank mounted on the upper turning body, a work walkway provided on an upper surface of the fuel tank for the movement of a worker, and a rollover valve provided at the top of the fuel tank at a position different from the work walkway.

METHOD FOR INDICATING EXCHANGE OF A FUEL VAPOR ABSORBER AND A VEHICLE WITH AN INDICATOR THEREFORE

An indicator is provided in a vehicle for indicating necessity of change of a fuel vapor absorber in a venting line of a vehicle tank, especially a methanol tank for fuel cell vehicles.

Air filter device

An air filter device includes an air filter and a filter case having a filter housing for housing the air filter. The filter case has a pipe part enclosing an outer circumference of a second end of a filler pipe. The second end of the filler pipe defines a fuel filler opening and is opposite to a first end of the filler pipe connected to a fuel tank of a vehicle. A distance between the pipe part and the fuel filler opening is less than a distance between the filter housing and the fuel filler opening. The pipe part is configured to be inserted into a fixed member fixed to a vehicle body. The pipe part has a flange that extends radially outward from the pipe part and is spaced apart from the filter housing in an axial direction.
