MULTI-BOSS FLANGE
The present invention relates to a flange that includes a base region, a raised region, and a sloped region there between. The sloped region includes concave and convex curved regions positioned in a plane parallel to an elongate axis of the flange, and concave and convex curved regions positioned in a plane perpendicular to the elongate axis of the flange so as to reduce stress within and fatigue failures of the flange.
Fuel storage assembly for a vehicle
A fuel storage assembly for a vehicle includes a fuel tank defining a fuel chamber, a fuel pump module and a vapor pressure detection system. The fuel pump module includes a flange engaged to the fuel tank and a fuel pump assembly supported by the flange and disposed in the fuel chamber. The vapor pressure detection system includes a vapor pressure sensor attached to the flange, a vapor pressure inlet device disposed in the fuel chamber, and a conduit communicating between the vapor pressure inlet device and the vapor pressure sensor.
Fuel tank for saddled vehicle
A fuel cap is constituted to close an upper portion of a tubular member constituting a filler opening of a fuel tank, and wherein the breather mechanism is constituted to discharge vaporized fuel separated by gas-liquid separation in a labyrinth path within the fuel cap through a breather drain hose supported at a side of the fuel tank, the fuel tank further comprising: a plate member fixed to a support member to support the fuel cap to the fuel tank; and a seal member to airtightly communicate an exit of the labyrinth path and an end portion of the breather drain hose when the fuel cap is closed. The breather drain hose connected to a lower side of the seal member is supported by the plate member.
Safety arrangement for a vehicle tank
A safety arrangement for a DME fuel tank of a vehicle, adapted to release an excessive pressure from the fuel tank, including a spring-loaded pressure release valve adapted to open at a predefined pressure level, where the safety arrangement further includes a housing mounted on the fuel tank and having an outer opening closed by a lid, where the pressure release valve is arranged in the housing and where the housing is provided with an outlet pipe having an outlet opening, and where the lid is adapted to melt at a predefined temperature, thereby allowing gas to exit the pressure release valve through the outer opening of the housing when the pressure release valve is open and the lid has melted. A small gas leakage caused by an excessive pressure can be discharged downwards through the outlet pipe and outlet opening towards the ground, and a large gas leakage, caused by e.g. a fire, can be discharged outwards from the fuel tank, away from the fire.
Fuel-vapor valve system and components therefor
Provided is a roll over fuel-vapor valve is provided including a housing defining a valve having a valve inlet port extending through a wall of the housing and a valve outlet port and a float member disposed between the inlet port and the outlet port and being displaceable between an open position and a closed position the hosing further comprising a fluid flow channel extending along a top portion thereof and having a first end and a second end, wherein the outlet port extending into the channel such that in the open position fluid flow is facilitated between the valve inlet port and the channel.
Work Vehicle
A fuel tank, an engine to which fuel is supplied from the fuel tank through a suction path, a canister for absorbing fuel vapor from the fuel tank, a guide pipe for supplying fuel vapor to the suction path, and a control valve for controlling a flowing state of fuel vapor in the guide pipe are provided. The canister and the control valve are integrally attached to the support member, and the support member is supported by a vehicle body fixing portion.
OPENING AND CLOSING DEVICE FOR FUEL TANK
In an opening and closing device (100) for a fuel tank, a path forming part (20) forms a fuel path (100P) along which supplied liquid fuel is guided to the fuel tank. A first valve mechanism (10) arranged at the path forming part (20) opens and closes a filling opening (104). A second valve mechanism (30) opens and closes an insertion path (100Pn) for a fuel nozzle (FN) at the end of the insertion path (100Pn) in the most upstream area of the fuel path (100P). In a non-filling situation in which the first valve mechanism (10) closes the filling opening (104), passage of air between an insertion path communication hole (51) and an outside air passage hole (53) is encouraged. In a filling situation in which the fuel nozzle (FN) makes the first valve mechanism (10) open the filling opening (104), passage of air between the insertion path communication hole (51) and the outside air passage hole (53) is interrupted. Therefor the opening and closing device (100) for the fuel tank prevents or reduces discharge of fuel in a fuel filling period while ensuring air permeability in a non-filling period.
COVER MEMBER FOR FUEL TANK
A flange main body as a cover member for a fuel tank includes a cover plate for closing an opening of the fuel tank, an accommodating tubular portion formed as part of the cover plate so as to extend through the plate in a plate thickness direction, and a rib formed at the cover plate. The accommodating tubular portion and the rib are formed to be non-contiguous.
FUEL SUPPLY DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
In a fuel tank, a pressure regulator is placed at an outside of a sub-tank and regulates a pressure of fuel of a pressure-regulation path, which is discharged from a fuel pump and is fed toward an outside of the fuel tank. A fuel recovery passage portion recovers excess fuel, which becomes excess at the pressure-regulation path, to the sub-tank. The sub-tank has an opening at a location that is higher than the suction filter. The fuel recovery passage portion is inserted from the outside of the sub-tank into the inside of the sub-tank through the opening while a gap is formed between the fuel recovery passage portion and the opening, so that the fuel recovery passage portion has an excess fuel outlet that discharges the excess fuel at a location that is on an inner side of the opening where an inside of the sub-tank is placed.
Fuel vapor recovering structure
A fuel vapor recovering structure for a vehicle, the vehicle having a side member extending in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and a cross member extending along a vehicle width direction, includes: a canister attached to the side member for absorbing a fuel evaporation gas in a fuel tank of the vehicle; and an atmosphere communicating pipe having a first end connected to the canister, and a second end opened to the atmosphere and inserted in the cross member.
