A filling pipe arrangement for filling an automobile fluid tank with fluid, especially aqueous urea solution, with a passage passing through a predetermined passageway along the filling pipe arrangement, wherein the passage extends from an inserting mouth to a discharge opening, wherein an inserting end section of the passage comprising the inserting mouth is designed to hold at least temporarily an output end section of a delivery device, such as a spigot, a Kruse bottle, or the like, wherein the passage comprises, at a distance from the inserting mouth, a conducting section designed to lead fluid introduced into the filling pipe arrangement through the filling pipe arrangement, wherein the filling pipe arrangement comprises a magnetic arrangement whose magnetic field reaches into the passage in one section of the passageway, the magnetic arrangement is received in the filling pipe arrangement so that it is movable along the passageway.

Fuel supply apparatus

An object is to suppress excessive insertion of a fueling nozzle during fueling. A nozzle guide configured to form a nozzle guide path that guides a fueling nozzle is placed inside of a filler neck main body configured to include a fuel passage that introduces a fuel supplied from the fueling nozzle toward a fuel tank. This nozzle guide comprises a first projection for nozzle restriction provided on a nozzle guide end opening portion at an end of the nozzle guide path along a nozzle guide direction and protruded from an end opening circumferential wall of the nozzle guide end opening portion to narrow at least part of a diameter of the nozzle guide path; and a second projection for nozzle restriction provided on a downstream side of the first projection along the nozzle guide direction and protruded from the end opening circumferential wall to narrow at least part of the diameter of the nozzle guide path.

FILLER INLET WITH FLUID SEPARATION

Methods and systems are provided for a filler inlet of a fuel fill line of a motorized vehicle. In one example, a filler inlet includes a fuel/air separation chamber extending at an angle relative to an opening of the filler inlet, with the opening adapted to receive a fuel nozzle. Fuel may be guided from the fuel nozzle toward a curved wall of the fuel/air separation chamber by a flow guide, and the fuel may separate from entrained air within the fuel/air separation chamber.

EARTH STRUCTURE FOR FILLER PIPE

An earth structure for a filler pipe includes a filler pipe; a tubular cover member in which an upstream end of the filler pipe is inserted and which defines a fueling port; an annular seal part interposed between the filler pipe and the cover member; and an earth member which is mounted an outer surface of the filler pipe and extends along a longitudinal direction of the filler pipe. The cover member is made of a conductive material, and the earth member is in contact with the cover member on a downstream side of the seal part. Since it is not necessary to dispose the earth member so as to pass through the seal part, the sealability between the filler pipe and the cover member improves.

SADDLE RIDING VEHICLE

In a fuel port forming portion (21) that forms a fuel port (104), a portion of a peripheral wall (104s, 104t) located on a perpendicular lower side when a fuel supply device (FS) is in a mounting posture of being mounted to a vehicle (FR) formed as a convex drain groove (110) from a corner portion (104c) at which an insertion-side open/close member (11) for opening/closing the fuel port makes contact with an open base portion (104sf) of the fuel port to an open end side of the fuel port. The drain groove (110) is inclined in a horizontal direction such that the open end side of the fuel port (104) is located closer to the perpendicular lower side than a corner portion side when the fuel supply device (FS) is in the mounting posture, to thereby improve draining function of the drain groove (110) provided to the fuel port (104).

Blow molded thermoplastic composition
10358556 · 2019-07-23 · ·

Components formed of blow molded thermoplastic compositions are described. The blow molded thermoplastic compositions exhibit high strength and flexibility. Methods for forming the thermoplastic compositions are also described. Formation methods include dynamic vulcanization of a composition that includes an impact modifier dispersed throughout a polyarylene sulfide. A crosslinking agent is combined with the other components of the composition following dispersal of the impact modifier. The crosslinking agent reacts with the impact modifier to form crosslinks within and among the polymer chains of the impact modifier. The compositions can exhibit excellent physical characteristics at extreme temperatures and can be used to form, e.g., tubular member such as pipes and hoses and fibers.
