OPERATING MEDIUM TANK ARRANGEMENT FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
An operating medium tank arrangement for a motor vehicle includes an operating medium tank; a filling tube for refueling the operating medium tank, wherein the filling tube is fluidly connected on one side to the operating medium tank and on the other side has an insertion opening for receiving a refueling device; a guide insert arranged in the filling tube for guiding the refueling device; and a liquid separator including a separator chamber which is divided into a first sub-chamber and a second sub-chamber, wherein the first sub-chamber is fluidly connected to the operating medium tank via a ventilation line, wherein the second sub-chamber is fluidly connected to a filter device, wherein the separator chamber is fluidly connected to the filling tube for purging operating medium separated in the liquid separator into the filling tube, and wherein the first sub-chamber and the second sub-chamber are fluidly connected with each other via a labyrinth separator which is formed by the liquid separator and the filling tube.
Fuel filler systems and methods of assembling same
A fuel filler system for use in a vehicle is provided. The system includes a fuel filler tube, a locking bracket coupled to an inner surface of the fuel filler tube, and a closure device coupleable within the tube end and including an outer wall and a radially movable tab extending from the outer wall. The tab engages the locking bracket after rotation of the closure device from a first rotational position to a second rotational position to prevent rotation of the closure device relative to the locking bracket. The closure device further includes a web flexibly connecting the tab to the outer wall and a region of weakness defined in the web, such that upon forcible rotation of the closure device from the second rotational position to the first rotational position, the region of weakness facilitates separation of the web from the outer wall.
Filler head
The present invention relates to a filler head (100) for a liquid tank in a motor vehicle with a housing (103), with a first molded housing part (103-1) having formed therein a tank vent pipe (105) for introducing air into the housing (103); and a second molded housing part (103-2) having formed therein a dip tube (107) for guiding a jet of liquid in the interior of the filler head (100), the dip tube (107) including a vent opening (111) for discharging from the filler head (100) the air that may be introduced through the tank vent pipe (105).
FILLING APPARATUS FOR A VEHICLE TANK
The invention relates to a filling apparatus for a vehicle tank, comprising a filling head, through which a liquid to be filled into the vehicle tank can be filled and on the outer side of which a fastening flange is provided, wherein a fastening device is provided, by way of which the filling head can be fastened releasably to a filling pipe which is connected to the vehicle tank, the fastening device comprising a fastening ring which is formed from two ring halves, it being possible for the ring halves to be adjusted between an open position and a closed position, the ring halves holding the fastening flange of the filling head and a fastening flange of the filling pipe between them in the closed position, and the ring halves releasing the fastening flange of the filling head and the fastening flange of the filling pipe in the open position for releasing the filling head from the filling pipe.
Adapter, motor vehicle and method
An adapter is provided for securing a filling tube of a fuel container to a body of a motor vehicle. The adapter has a contact region for placement on the body and a first securing point for securing a first holder for the filling tube. This allows for it to be easily adapted to different vehicle body shapes.
FUEL TRANSMISSION SYSTEM
The present invention relates to a body (2) that is located on the aircraft, at least one external tank (T) that is located on the body (2) and provides fuel accumulation, at least one valve (3) that is located between the body (2) and the external tank (T) and provides fuel transmission, at least one opening (4) that is located on the valve (3) and allows the fuel passage between the body (2) and the external tank (T), a gear region (5) that is located oppositely on the body (2) and on the valve (3) and allows the valve (3) to be mounted on the body (2), and at least one sealing element (6) that is located between the body (2) and the valve (3) in a way surrounding the valve (3) and prevents fuel from leaking into the body (2).
