Vehicle fluid handling systems

A fluid system for a vehicle is provided. The fluid system is configured to couple to a chassis of the vehicle. A frame assembly of the fluid system is configured to couple with the chassis directly or with another component that is coupled, directly or indirectly, with the chassis. A cowling of the fluid system can enclose a fuel pressure vessel and an auxiliary fluid vessel. The auxiliary fluid vessel is configured to be placed in fluid communication with the component powered or operated by the fluid therein.

An apparatus includes a vehicle frame, a swing arm and a fuel tank. The vehicle frame includes a front portion and a rear portion and defines a longitudinal centerline therebetween. The front portion is configured to support a recumbent seat. The rear portion is configured to be coupled to the swing arm and. The swing arm defines a longitudinal centerline and includes a wheel mounting portion configured to be coupled to a wheel assembly. The wheel mounting portion defines a radial axis that is substantially coaxial with the longitudinal centerline of the vehicle frame in at least one plane. The fuel tank is coupled to the rear portion of the vehicle frame such that the fuel tank is above the longitudinal centerline of the swing arm.

MODULAR FUEL STORAGE SYSTEM

Methods and systems for modular fuel storage and transportation are provided. In an embodiment, a fuel storage system includes one or more fuel containers each supported by a fuel container support assembly. The fuel storage system may be mounted to a transportation device such as a vehicle or used in a stand-alone fashion. Each support assembly may include a plurality of detachable end support members such as end support members configured to support the end portions of the fuel container and side support members configured to support the body portion of the fuel container. Some of the end support members may include neck grooves such that when the end support members are coupled, the neck grooves form an enclosure around the neck portion of the fuel container. In an embodiment, the support assembly is configured to facilitate release of excess pressure in the fuel container.

AUTONOMOUS AGRICULTURAL VEHICLE COMPRISING A HYDROGEN-POWERED MAIN PROPULSION SYSTEM

The present invention relates to an autonomous agricultural vehicle (1) comprising a framework (2) and wheels (3), the framework (2) having a width, two flanks, one on each side of a longitudinal axis (X) of the autonomous agricultural vehicle (1), and a top, at least one tool being able to be housed in a working volume (20) defined by the width and the top of the framework (2), the autonomous agricultural vehicle (1) moreover comprising a hydrogen-powered propulsion system comprising at least one hydrogen fuel cell (100). The autonomous agricultural vehicle according to the invention moreover comprises at least one hydrogen cylinder (11,12) positioned longitudinally on the top of the framework (2), the hydrogen fuel cell (100) being configured to consume hydrogen from the at least one hydrogen cylinder (11, 12) and oxygen captured from the air so as to supply electrical power to an electric motor of the hydrogen-powered propulsion system.

A working vehicle includes a vehicle body, a traveling device to support the vehicle body such that the vehicle body is allowed to travel, a hydrogen tank to store hydrogen gas, a driving device to drive the traveling device using the hydrogen gas as an energy source, a gas fill port to allow a gas fill nozzle of an external hydrogen gas supplier to be connected thereto when the hydrogen tank is to be supplied with the hydrogen gas, and a moving mechanism to couple the vehicle body and the gas fill port to each other and to move relative positions of the gas fill port and the vehicle body.

The tank case includes a lower plate covering a lower surface of the hydrogen tank, side plates covering side surfaces of the hydrogen tank, and an upper plate covering an upper surface of the hydrogen tank, and includes a first vent that is open in the lower plate.
