FUEL TANK MOUNTING SYSTEM

A fuel tank mounting system for allowing mounting of a fuel tank to a vehicle during assembly of the vehicle. A movable base moves along tracks on an assembly line and supports a fuel tank adjacent to a vehicle. Movable fastener drivers move to align with corresponding fastener apertures on the vehicle and drive fasteners to attach the fuel tank to the vehicle. Because the fastener drivers are movable, the system may be reconfigured to mount different fuel tanks to different vehicles needing differently aligned and/or differently angled fasteners.

VEHICLE FUEL TANK STRUCTURE

A vehicle fuel tank structure capable of suppressing transmission of a vibration of a fuel pump to a vehicle body without depending on a rubber mount includes a fuel tank provided below floor panels; a fuel pump which is provided inside the fuel tank and which is fixed by being pressed against a tank bottom surface of the fuel tank; and a reinforcement member fixed to a vehicle-exterior side of the tank bottom surface against which the fuel pump is pressed, in which the reinforcement member includes a first fixation portion which is fixed to the fuel tank at a position overlapping with a section against which the fuel pump is pressed in a plan view; and second fixation portions which are fixed to the fuel tank at positions not overlapping with the section against which the fuel pump is pressed in a plan view.

A straddle-type vehicle (100) includes a frame (20) and an engine (10) mounted on the frame (20), the engine (10) includes a cylinder head (11) positioned toward the rear end of the frame, and located below a saddle seat (80). The cylinder head laces toward the rear end of the frame, which allows the heated cylinder head of the engine and the exhaust pipe connected to the cylinder head to avoid contact with the vehicle the user's legs while riding the vehicle, so the effect of heat emitted from the cylinder head on the rider's experience is reduced.

High-pressure container unit

A high-pressure container unit includes: a box-shaped case mounted on a vehicle and configured to include a bottom portion, a ceiling portion, and a peripheral wall portion; a plurality of container main bodies arranged in an interior of the case and each having a cylindrical body portion; and a reinforcing member extending along an axial direction of the container main body, the reinforcing member being provided in at least one of a space surrounded by the container main bodies adjacent to each other and the bottom portion and, a space surrounded by the container main bodies adjacent to each other and the ceiling portion.
