A gear casing for a wheel-hub assembly comprises a gear housing comprising a drive-gear volume for accommodating therewithin a gearing assembly that is positioned to mediate between a drivetrain member and a wheel-hub member, the drive-gear volume being in fluid communication with opposing first and second openings formed in the gear housing for respective gearing-assembly connections therethrough with the drivetrain member and the wheel hub member; and a lubricant compartment radially displaced from the drive-gear volume and in fluid communication therewith exclusively via an array of one or more lubricant passages disposed circumferentially around a portion of the gear housing, the lubricant-passage array arranged for flow therethrough of a gearing-assembly lubricant between the lubricant compartment and the gear housing.
TWO-STAGE SPEED-CHANGE OUTPUT DEVICE AND ELECTRIC VEHICLE USING SAME
A two-stage speed-change output device includes a main axle, on which a motor assembly and first and second speed-change assemblies are mounted. The first and second speed-change assemblies are mounted inside an output shell by first and second one-way clutching elements, both operating in a forward direction. The motor assembly is operable to rotate backward to drive the first one-way clutching element to drive the output shell to rotate in the forward direction, while the second one-way clutching element idles. The motor assembly is also operable to rotate forward to drive the second one-way clutching element to drive the output shell to rotate in the forward direction, while the first one-way clutching element idles. The device realizes speed change for two stages to drive the output shell in the same direction with forward and backward rotations of the motor assembly.
Axle assembly having a rotor bearing assembly
An axle assembly having an electric motor module, a drive pinion, and at least one rotor bearing assembly. The electric motor module may have a rotor. The rotor and the drive pinion may be rotatable about a first axis. The first rotor bearing assembly may extend between the drive pinion and the rotor.
Integrated Drive System and Electric Vehicle
An integrated drive system that includes a motor having a housing and an output shaft is disclosed. The integrated drive system further includes a planetary gear transmission mechanism having a first-stage planetary gear mechanism and a second-stage planetary gear mechanism. The first output torque of the first-stage planetary gear mechanism is transmitted to a driven object. The second output torque of the first-stage planetary gear mechanism is transmitted to the second-stage planetary gear mechanism. And the third output torque of the second-stage planetary gear mechanism is transmitted to the driven object. An electric vehicle that includes the described integrated drive system is also disclosed.
Multi-mode torque vectoring electric drive axle with single actuator
A multi-mode torque vectoring electric drive axle, including a main motor, an auxiliary motor, a differential, a first half shaft, a second half shaft, a primary reducer, a secondary reducer, a planetary gear set, a dual-gear mechanism and a three-phase actuator. The main motor and the auxiliary motor are respectively connected to input ends of the primary reducer and the secondary reducer. Output ends of the primary reducer and the secondary reducer are respectively connected to a differential housing and an input end of the planetary gear set. Two output ends of the planetary gear set are respectively connected to the three-phase actuator and the dual-gear mechanism. An output end of the dual-gear mechanism is connected to the differential housing. The three-phase actuator is a synchronous shifting mechanism for enabling locking, decoupling of the planetary gear set, and connection to the first half shaft.
Universal wheel driving system
A universal wheel driving system includes a sun gear receiving power from a power source, a ring gear, of which a rotation axis moves relatively to a rotation axis of the sun gear on a rotation plane parallel to a rotation plane of the sun gear, the ring gear being concentrically connected to a wheel, a gear train allowing relative movement between the rotational axes of the sun and ring gears, and to generate a continuous power transmission between the sun and ring gears, a carrier forming the gear train, and supporting in position a rotation axis of a final pinion engaged with the ring gear constant with respect to the rotation axis of the ring gear, and a plurality of suspension modules providing shock-absorbing and damping during relative movements of the ring gear and carrier with respect to the sun gear.
AXLE ASSEMBLY
An axle assembly having an electric motor, a wheel end assembly, and a reduction gear module. The electric motor may have a rotor that is rotatable about a first axis. The wheel end assembly may be rotatable about a second axis that may be disposed above the first axis. The reduction gear module may transmit torque between the electric motor and the wheel end assembly.
ELECTRIC MULTI-SPEED HUB DRIVE WHEELS
A rotary actuator is provided which includes a prime mover including a rotor and a stator; a front-end star compound gear equipped with a first pinion, a first plurality of star gears arrayed concentrically around said first pinion, a first clutch, a first clutch shift motor, an output shaft, and first, second and third gears, wherein said third gear is attached to said output shaft; a back-end star compound gear; and a wheel interface including a principal bearing and a brake disk. The first pinion drives said the clutch. The first clutch shift motor shifts the first clutch between a first position in which the first clutch engages the first gear, and a second position in which the first clutch engages the second gear. When the first clutch engages the first gear, the first gear drives the first plurality of star gears. When the first clutch engages the first gear, the first plurality of star gears drive the third gear, or the first clutch engages the third gear to drive the output shaft directly.
ACTUATING DEVICE
“An actuating device comprises a speed reducer, a fixing member, and a driven member. The speed reducer has an input side, a rotation portion, and an output side. The input side and the output side are respectively arranged at two sides of the rotation portion in an axial direction thereof. The input side or the output side of the speed reducer is fixed at the fixing member. The driven member may be a tire and covered an outer peripheral of the rotation portion. The width of the actuating device becomes thinner and the volume of the actuating device becomes small to make it install to a targeting object (automatic guided vehicle) much easier.”
SPEED REDUCER AND ACTUATOR
A speed reducer includes a sun gear, planetary gears, a fixed part, an output part, a first bearing, and a second bearing. The sun gear rotates relative to the fixed part at a first rotation speed. The planetary gears are disposed around the sun gear to engage with the sun gear. The output part includes an annular internal gear engaging with the planetary gears. The output part rotates relative to the fixed part at a second rotation speed lower than the first rotation speed. The first bearing is interposed between the fixed part and the output part at a position closer to an input side with respect to the planetary gears. The second bearing is interposed between the fixed part and the output part at a position closer to an output side with respect to the planetary gears. The second bearing is smaller in radial size than the first bearing.
