20240359556 · 2024-10-31 ·

A ride-on vehicle, such as for a child, includes a vehicle body and one or more wheels that support the vehicle body relative to a surface. At least one of the wheels includes a hub motor arrangement that provides a drive torque for propelling the vehicle. The hub motor arrangement includes a housing defining an interior space. An axle or other mounting element(s) define an axis of rotation of the housing. Preferably, the axle or other mounting element(s) do not pass completely through the housing. A motor drives the housing through a transmission. Preferably, the motor is a standard, compact motor that is positioned on the axis of rotation and can be laterally offset from a central plane of the housing. In some embodiments, a traction element is carried directly by the housing.

An automobile-motor driving device equipped with speed reducer which has improved supply of lubrication oil to inside of the rolling bearings without sacrificing the function of the bearings, to reduce deformation in the rolling bearing outer ring. A parallel shaft gear speed reducer provides an automobile-motor driving device equipped with speed reducer. The parallel shaft gear speed reducer includes a plurality of gear shafts having two ends supported via rolling bearings fitted into bearing fitting holes in a speed reducer casing which houses the parallel shaft gear speed reducer. A groove in an inner circumferential surface of the bearing fitting hole into which the rolling bearing is fitted communicates between a space that houses the speed reducer and an inside space of the bearing fitting hole, at a location not crossed by the line of action of a load acting upon the rolling bearing due to the meshing of the gears.

Power generation device

A power generation device capable of achieving reduction in size and compactification, and increasing a change gear ratio is provided. In a power generation device 20 of a vehicle including a front wheel as a drive wheel and a rear wheel 13 as a driven wheel, a gear mechanism 30A as an input side gear mechanism in which a ring-shaped internal gear 37 is disposed coaxially with a sun gear 38 and a plurality of intermediate gears 36 are interposed in a ring-shaped space between the internal gear 37 and the sun gear 38 is fixed to the vehicle via a cylinder member 22 as a support shaft having an axis matched with an axis of a cup-shaped joint 51 as a rotation shaft of the rear wheel 13, the internal gear 37 of the gear mechanism 30A is formed to be integrally rotatable with the rear wheel 13, an output shaft 52 penetrating through the cylinder member 22 is fixed to the sun gear 38, and a power generator 53 is provided at the output shaft 52.

Driving unit and cleaning robot comprising same

Disclosed herein is a cleaning robot including an improved driving unit to escape from an undriveable state occurring under various driving conditions. The cleaning robot includes a body, and a driving unit that drives the body. The driving unit includes a first driving motor and a second driving motor that generate driving power; a driving wheel that rotates when the driving power is delivered to the driving wheel from the first driving motor; and a wheel frame that supports the driving wheel to be rotatable and rotates between a first position and a second position with respect to a motor shaft of the first driving motor. The wheel frame rotates in at least one section between the first position and the second position when the driving power is delivered to the wheel frame from the second driving motor.

MOVABLE RIG AND STEERING SYSTEM

A drill rig with a steering system may include a substructure having a wheelhouse, a drill floor arranged atop the substructure, a mast extending upwardly and above the drill floor, and a steering system arranged within the wheelhouse. The steering system may include a wheel assembly comprising an electric motor configured for driving rotational motion of a wheel, a deployment device configuring for deploying the wheel assembly to carry the drill rig, and a steering mechanism configured for selective engagement with the wheel assembly and rotating the wheel assembly.

ELECTRIC HUB DRIVE WITH BRAKING ASSEMBLY
20180065477 · 2018-03-08 ·

Some embodiments are directed to an electric hub drive with a braking assembly. The hub drive includes a housing; a rotary drive transmission system mounted within the housing; and a braking assembly positioned within the housing. The braking assembly includes a braking formation that is coupled to be rotationally driven by the rotary drive transmission system. Advantageously or preferably, the braking formation is coupled to be rotationally driven by a part of the rotary drive transmission system that has a higher angular velocity than the output shaft. This enables the braking formation to rotate at a faster speed than the wheel hub.

Wheel Hubs and Power Wheels Containing the Same

A wheel hub capable of being coupled to an axle of a wheel such that the wheel hub is rotatable around the axle. The wheel hub includes a hub housing adapted to be rotatably supported on the axle, and a motor including a stator and a rotor. The stator is adapted to be fixedly connected to the axle. The rotor is configured to be rotatable with respect to the stator. The rotor includes a circular rotor housing inside which a gear reduction module is located. The output of the gear reduction module is connected to a one-way transmission module which in turn is adapted to drive the hub housing to rotate. As the gear reduction module and the one-way transmission module are contained within the rotor, the size of the power wheel can be reduced without sacrificing the performance.
