ARRANGEMENT FOR THE VISUAL DISPLAY OF INFORMATION IN THE AREA OF A WINDSCREEN OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
An arrangement (1) is provided for a visual display of information in the area of a windscreen (2) of a motor vehicle. The windscreen (2) has at least one inner window (20) and one outer window (21). A lighting device (4) is attached to the windscreen (2), and light (8) emitted by the lighting device (4) can be coupled into the windscreen (2) at an end face. At least one optically functional area (200, 210) is configured within the inner window (20) and/or the outer window (21). The at least one optically functional area (200, 210) changes reflection properties of the light (8) coupled into the windscreen (2) as compared to other areas (201, 202, 211, 212) of the inner window (20) and/or the outer window (21).
VEHICLE STEERING-WHEEL ASSEMBLY INCLUDING MEANS FOR COMMUNICATING BY EMITTING AND RECEIVING LIGHT
Steering wheel assembly intended for being built into a vehicle dashboard and including a steering wheel and a mounting element which is stationary relative to the dashboard and the steering wheel being movable in rotation with respect to the dashboard. The steering wheel includes a plurality of light-emitting sources spaced apart so that at least one of the light sources cannot be concealed by a hand or by a portion of a hand of a driver of the vehicle. The steering wheel assembly includes a first plurality of sensors capable of picking up the light emitted by at least one light-emitting source, the light-emitting sources and the sensors being configured to form a continuous communication channel between the steering wheel and an instrument panel mounted on the dashboard.
Information provision apparatus for vehicle
Provided is an information provision apparatus for a vehicle, the apparatus capable of providing information that fits the situation of the vehicle to a user. An information provision apparatus for a vehicle is provided with a vehicle-mounted device which comprises a report means for reporting various kinds of information including vehicle information to a user, and a control means for operating the report means, and is connected to an external device via a connection means. Upon receiving a manipulation input signal indicating that a start switch of the vehicle is turned on, the control means operates the report means in order to report to the user that a communication connection between the vehicle-mounted device and the external device is not established, until the communication connection is established.
VEHICLE DISPLAY DEVICE AND VEHICLE
The present invention relates to a vehicle display device comprising: a display; a gesture sensing unit disposed in the vicinity of the display so as to generate a first sheet beam to be emitted in a first direction and a second sheet beam to be emitted in a second direction different from the first direction, and sensing a three-dimensional gesture of an object through the first and second sheet beams; and a processor for providing a control signal according to the three-dimensional gesture.
SYSTEM AND METHODOLOGY FOR VEHICLE SENSOR ADJUSTMENT
The disclosure is directed to methods and systems for modifying a vehicle periphery. These methods and systems include receiving a notification that an attachment is placed on the vehicle, detecting, with one or more sensors located in or on the vehicle, the location and size of the attachment on the vehicle, forming an attachment periphery of the attachment's size and location, forming a representation of the attachment periphery relative to the vehicle periphery and monitoring, with the one or more sensors, the surroundings of the vehicle to determine if an obstacle is within a predetermined distance of the attachment periphery or the vehicle periphery.
Light guide assembly
An assembly includes a light guide having a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end has a light-emitting diode package coupled thereto. The assembly may include another light guide, also having a proximal end and a distal end, with a light-emitting diode package coupled to the proximal end. A light housing may be included that defines a cavity therein, wherein at least a portion of the first and second light guides including the distal ends are disposed in the cavity. Further, a dial face may be included that is disposed adjacent to the first and second light guides and the light housing, wherein each of the first and second light guides are configured to illuminate the dial face. In some variations, flexible printed circuit boards are attached to and electrically connected with the light-emitting diode packages.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING TRAVEL INFORMATION
An electronic device and a method are described. The electronic device is adapted to be installed on a handlebar of a vehicle, the electronic device comprising: a processor; a communication module; a display comprising a halo-shaped display; a memory for storing therein executable instructions, the instructions upon being processed by the processor, causing the electronic device to: receive, via the communication module, navigational data from a mobile device, the navigational data being associated with a circular visual signal indication, the circular visual signal indication being indicative of at least one of (i) an upcoming directional instruction and (ii) a distance between a current location and an upcoming location associated with the upcoming directional instruction; and, cause to display, on the halo-shaped display, of the circular visual signal indication.
LIGHT EMITTING DIODES AND DIODE ARRAYS FOR SMART RING VISUAL OUTPUT
A system for displaying information via a smart ring can include a ring band. The system for displaying information via a smart ring also can include at least one processor disposed within the ring band. The at least one processor disposed within the ring can be configured to identify a user of the smart ring. The at least one processor disposed within the ring further can be configured to analyze the data to identify a condition. The system for displaying information via a smart ring further can include a display disposed at least partially in, at least partially on, or coupled to the ring band and communicatively coupled to the processor. Furthermore, the at least one processor disposed within the ring can be configured to cause the display to present information indicative of the condition. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Single-Track Vehicle With a Vehicle State Display
A single-track vehicle has a vehicle state display and a controller. The vehicle state display includes at least one projection surface, a cover, and at least one lighting device. The at least one lighting device is coupled to the controller, and the at least one lighting device and the cover are arranged such that light emitted from the lighting device can only be perceived indirectly from outside of the vehicle. The lighting device is designed to generate at least one first light pattern corresponding to a first vehicle state and a second light pattern corresponding to a second vehicle state on the projection surface on the basis of control signals of the controller.
