VEHICLE-MOUNTED DISPLAY PANEL AND VEHICLE DEVICE
A vehicle-mounted display panel and a vehicle device are provided. The vehicle-mounted display panel includes a backplate, a first display panel, and a second display panel. A first groove and a second groove are respectively defined on two opposite sides of the backplate. The first display panel and the second display panel are respectively mounted in the first groove and the second groove to improve integration of the first display panel and the second display panel, which is conducive to saving mounting space and realizes lightweight design of vehicles.
SELECTIVELY ILLUMINATED AREA OF AN INSTRUMENT PANEL GAUGE
Two separate and differently-colored light sources provide correspondingly-colored light into corresponding light guides that extend part way around the perimeter of a gauge, such as a tachometer dial and adjacent to numerals or digits that correspond to a measured quantity, such as a too-high engine speed range and an energy-saving or eco speed range.
Motor vehicle
A motor vehicle is disclosed that includes at least one linear lighting means for directly and/or indirectly lighting a vehicle interior. A position-sensing unit senses ego information describing a position and an orientation of the motor vehicle. A control device determines, from location information describing the position of a person, and from the ego information, direction information describing a direction of the person in relation to the motor vehicle (1), selects, in accordance with the direction information, a sub-group of lighting segments that includes at least one lighting segment to be activated, and activates the lighting segment belonging to the sub-group in accordance with a configuration, which specifies the lighting brightness and/or the lighting color of the lighting segment, and which visualizes the position of the person.
OPTICAL DISPLAY KNOB
An optical display knob is mounted on an electronic display, such as a touch-screen display found in a vehicle interior cabin, and includes a knob body with an optical guide and a button located therein. The knob body is rotatable, whereas the optical guide is adhered to the electronic display via a transparent adhesive so that it is stationary, with respect to the electronic display. When the electronic display generates graphics or images, the corresponding light is transmitted through the transparent adhesive and the optical guide to a front display surface. At the front display surface, the graphics appear to be emanating from the front of the optical display knob, and not from the surface of the electronic display itself.
Display panel
A display panel is attached to an appliance that includes first and second light sources, in which one of the first and second light sources is capable of being turned off when the other is turned on. The display panel basically includes a molded body, a front-side decorative layer, and a sheet-like member. The display panel is capable of individually illuminating a plurality of graphics, which is simultaneously molded and decorated, with light passing through a molded resin. In particular, a first graphic is illuminated in a first window by turning on the first light source, while a first back-side light-shielding region and a second front-side light-shielding region prevent a second graphic from being illuminated. The second graphic is illuminated in a second window by turning on the second light source, while a second back-side light-shielding region and a first front-side light-shielding region prevent the first graphic from being illuminated.
Display system
At least one display device, at least one light-guide structure module, and a cover plate are included in a display system. The at least one light-guide structure module is located between the at least one display device and the cover plate. The at least one display device includes a display panel for displaying a display content. The display panel is surrounded by a visible frame delimited by an inner edge and an outer edge. At least one portion of the outer edge of the visible frame defines at least one line on the cover plate by a parallel projection along an axis oriented perpendicularly to the cover plate. The at least one light-guide structure module enlarges the display content of the at least one display device and projects a portion of the inner edge of the visible frame onto the at least one line of the cover plate.
Selective lighting for indicia
A method, system, and devices for implementing a selectively lighted instrument cluster are disclosed herein. The aspects employ a light house layer (or collection of light house layers) using a combination of light and dark materials to provide individually lit indicia on a cover layer (i.e. applique layer) of an instrument cluster. The combination of light and dark layers selectively applied prevents light leakage into other non-intended portions on the viewable surface of the instrument cluster.
IN-VEHICLE DISPLAY SYSTEM AND VEHICLE
The present disclosure provides an in-vehicle display system and a vehicle. The in-vehicle display system includes an optical fiber holographic projection portion and a holographic image display portion. The optical fiber holographic projection portion is configured to holographically project image information of a vehicle component onto the holographic image display portion, and the holographic image display portion is configured to present an original image of the vehicle component.
PICTURE GENERATION APPARATUS AND HEAD-UP DISPLAY INCLUDING SAME
A picture generation apparatus including: a printed circuit board (PCB) on which one or more light sources are disposed; a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) configured to emit an image using light transmitted from the one or more light sources; and an optical path control unit disposed between the PCB and the LCD, and configured to control a travel path of light, wherein the LCD is disposed to be offset from an incident optical axis of external light, and wherein the PCB is disposed to be parallel to the LCD.
OPTICAL SYSTEM, ILLUMINATION SYSTEM, DISPLAY SYSTEM, AND MOVING VEHICLE
An optical system includes a light guide member and a prism. The light guide member has: an incident surface on which light is incident; and a first surface and a second surface facing each other. The second surface is a light emergent surface. The prism is provided for the first surface and reflects, toward the second surface, the light passing inside the light guide member. The light guide member includes a direct optical path, along which the light that has entered the light guide member through the incident surface is directly reflected from the prism and allowed to emerge from the second surface.
