SOFT UPPER TRIM FOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY OF VEHICLE DOOR AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
Provided is a soft upper trim of a vehicle door, in which an upper substrate, foam, and a transparent skin are laminated, and particularly, to a soft upper trim for switch assembly of a vehicle door, in which a switch, which is configured to preserve continuity of a transparent skin and display lock and unlock symbols on the transparent skin, is easily assembled to an upper substrate, and a method of manufacturing the same.
Ventilation nozzle arrangement for a cockpit of a vehicle andvehicle comprising the ventilation nozzle arrangement
A ventilation nozzle arrangement for a cockpit of a vehicle includes a ventilation nozzle for ventilating the vehicle by an airflow and plurality of fins between which the airflow can escape and/or escapes in a ventilation direction. The fins consist of a light-permeable material.
STEERING MODULE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE COMPRISING A DOUBLE-REFLECTIVE LIGHT GUIDE, STEERING DEVICE, AS WELL AS MOTOR VEHICLE
The invention relates to a steering module (8) for a motor vehicle (1), the steering module (8) comprising an optical signaling unit (14), which optically indicates an operating state of the motor vehicle (1), wherein the optical signaling unit (14) comprises at least one light source (15) and a light guide (16), by which the light emitted by the light source (15) with a main radiation direction (20) is capable of being deflected in an exit direction which is different from the main radiation direction (20) and the light exits in this exit direction (19) from an emission surface (18) from the light guide (16), wherein the light guide (16) is shaped in such a way that light rays of the coupled-in light are reflected therein at least twice so that the exit direction (19) is opposite to the main radiation direction (20).
COMPONENT FOR VEHICLE INTERIOR
A component for a vehicle interior may comprise a light guide to allow light transmission from a light source, and a cover to cover the light guide. The light guide may comprise an icon or indicator and the cover may comprise a depression or indentation in an inner surface of the cover. The icon/indicator of the light guide may comprise a light-transmissive resin material configured to fit within the depression/indentation in the cover. The icon/indicator may be presented when illuminated and hidden by the cover when not illuminated. The cover may comprise a polymer material coupled to the light guide. The cover may present a user interface. A surface of the cover may comprise an information region and/or a decorative region. The component may comprise a steering wheel, console, floor console, center console, instrument panel, door panel, dashboard, display, armrest, or cockpit.
Light control apparatus and method
A light control apparatus includes a diffuser plate, a light source, a light pipe, and a light blocker. The diffuser plate includes at least one opening therein. The diffuser plate includes feature located around the opening in the diffuser plate that exposes a portion of the diffuser plate. A light source positioned proximate a second surface of the diffuser plate is optically coupled to a light pipe positioned around a portion of the opening near the second surface of diffuser plate. A light blocker is positioned near a second portion of the at least one feature. The light blocker is positioned between the light source and the second portion of the feature, the light blocker having an opening therein to allow light to pass from the light source to the diffuser plate proximate the second portion of the feature.
