Heads-up display unit with integrated protection system
A heads-up display apparatus that includes integrated protection structures is disclosed. The various structures protect the electronics in the heads-up display unit from liquid spills and small objects. The various protective structures are integrated into the heads-up display casing. Namely, the casing may include several drainage structures that channel liquid away from sensitive electronic components in the heads-up display unit. As a result, the heads-up display may be advantageously protected from damage when in use in a motor vehicle dashboard.
CONTROL MODULE FOR A VEHICLE
A remote control module for a vehicle, the remote control module comprising a base comprising a housing for a nomadic device configured to provide access to and control at least one first functionality of the vehicle; a control device configured to control a second functionality of the vehicle; and a fastening device for fastening the base to a seat frame of the vehicle.
REFLECTION DEVICE, REFLECTION ELEMENT ASSEMBLY, HEAD-UP DISPLAY AND MOTOR VEHICLE
A reflection device for a head-up display, a reflection element assembly, a head-up display and a motor vehicle are disclosed. The reflection device is configured for reflecting of radiation emitted by an image generation unit and includes a reflection element having a reflection side and a back side being arranged on the side remote from the reflection side, and a carrier supporting the reflection element. The reflection element is movably coupled to the carrier by at least one bearing such that the reflection element is pivotable relatively to the carrier about at least a first axis. The carrier is being couplable to a housing of a head-up display, or directly to a vehicle body, and wherein the at least one bearing is arranged at the back side of the reflection element such that the first axis is extending completely behind the back side of the reflection element.
DISPLAY APPARATUS
A housing that houses a display panel includes a first wall and a second wall. A protrusion is formed on the first wall. A through hole is formed in the second wall. The protrusion passes through the through hole. A tip of the protrusion that has been passed through the through hole is expanded to fasten the first wall to the second wall. A clearance between the protrusion and the through hole is divided into a first part and a second part. The first and second parts are unequally allocated so that when a force from a front side to a back side of the display panel is applied to the first wall/second wall, the first wall/second wall is suppressed from being displaced relative to the second wall/first wall.
HEAD-UP DISPLAY APPARATUS
An object of the present invention is to provide a head-up display apparatus further reduced in size, the head-up display apparatus having: an image display apparatus including a light source and a display element; and a virtual image optical system in which light emitted from the image display apparatus is reflected by a windshield or a combiner of the vehicle so that a virtual image is displayed in front of the vehicle, wherein the virtual image optical system has a concave mirror and a distortion correcting lens, and the distortion correcting lens is disposed between the image display apparatus and the concave mirror, the concave mirror is disposed in a housing including an outer case along a shape of an effective light path area of the image light from the image display apparatus, and the image display apparatus is attached to part of an outer periphery of the housing.
COVER-EQUIPPED ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A press-contact guide, a restraining guide, and a latching mechanism are provided between a housing of a device body and a cover. A restraining projection provided on the cover is inserted into an introduction opening to cause a press-contact projection to be pressed into contact with a press-contact slide part. In this state, the cover is slid in a latching-force-acting direction. Then, the cover moves with a restraining projection being restrained by the restraining guide and cause a projecting latch to latch into a receiving hole. When such a latched state is established, the cover and the housing go out of contact with each other at the press-contact guide and the restraining guide.
Display device for vehicle
A vehicle display device includes a display unit, a surrounding member, and a cover member. The surrounding member is disposed to surround a periphery of the display unit and has an opening at an end on a viewing side. The cover member is disposed on a display surface of the display unit on the viewing side and covers the opening of the surrounding member. The surrounding member does not cover a surface of the cover member on the viewing side in a direction normal to the surface of the cover member. The surrounding member includes an upper surrounding portion located above the display unit. An upper viewing side end of the upper surrounding portion projects from the surface of the cover member in the direction normal to the surface of the cover member by a length of 0.1 mm or more and 2.0 mm or less relative to the surface of the cover member.
Head-up display for vehicles and head-up display system for vehicles
A vehicular head-up display that is provided in a vehicle and is configured to display a predetermined image to an occupant of the vehicle includes: a housing that has an opening upward; a transparent cover that covers the opening of the housing; a picture generation section; and a cleaner that is configured to clean an outer surface of the transparent cover. The picture generation section includes: a picture generation unit that is provided inside an accommodation portion formed with the housing and the transparent cover in order to emit light for generating the predetermined image; and a reflection unit that reflects light so that light emitted by the picture generation unit heads toward a windshield.
FLEXIBLE DISPLAY DEVICE FOR VEHICLE, METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME, AND VEHICLE INCLUDING DISPLAY DEVICE
A flexible display device for a vehicle includes a casing having an opening, a display part to be retracted or extended into or out of the casing through the opening, a display driver configured to move the display part, and a display winder configured to wind the display part based on movement of the display part.
Vehicle display carrier with heat sink
A vehicle display assembly includes a display configured to graphically depict information. A printed circuit board (PCB) is in communication with the display. A carrier is clamped between the display and PCB to form an instrument cluster assembly. The carrier includes cooling fins.
