Rotorcraft and method of controlling rotorcraft
According to one implementation, a rotorcraft includes a first rotorcraft and at least one second rotorcraft. The first rotorcraft has a first main rotor and a first tail rotor. The at least one second rotorcraft has a second main rotor and a second tail rotor. The at least one second rotorcraft are attachable and detachable to and from the first rotorcraft. Further, according to one implementation, a method of controlling the above-mentioned rotorcraft includes: flying the first rotorcraft, to which the at least one second rotorcraft has been attached, to a destination; and separating the at least one second rotorcraft from the first rotorcraft at the destination.
Regenerative braking control system and method of AWD hybrid vehicle
A regenerative braking control system of an AWD (all-wheel-drive) hybrid vehicle including a front wheel HEV (hybrid electric vehicle) powertrain and a rear wheel EV (electric vehicle) powertrain is provided. The control system includes a manipulating instrument mounted to a steering wheel for manual shifting and regenerative braking control by a driver's manipulation, and a controller for adjusting a regenerative braking amount and controlling a shift pattern of each of a front wheel motor of the front wheel HEV powertrain and a rear wheel motor of the rear wheel EV powertrain by receiving a (−) or (+) manipulation signal or a hold manipulation signal of the manipulating instrument.
TRANSPORT REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
A transport refrigeration system (1) includes a transportation refrigeration unit (37); a generator (11) connected to a wheel axle (7A) of the transport refrigeration system (1), the wheel axle (7A) being coupled to a wheel (5), wherein the generator (11) is configured to be driven to generate electricity by rotation of the wheel axle (7A) and to supply that electricity to the transportation refrigeration unit (37); and a damper (23) connected to the wheel axle (7A) between the wheel (5) and the generator (11). Short spikes or pulsations in torque along the wheel axle (7A) resulting from, e.g., harsh braking or wheel blocking can be, dampened, either wholly or partly, by the damper (23) such that damage to the transport refrigeration system (1) can be avoided.
Power converter
A power convertor has a casing and a power conversion circuit arranged in an internal chamber of the casing. The casing has a first wall member as a specific side wall. A plurality of connector opening parts are formed in the first wall member. At least two of the plurality of connector opening parts formed in the first wall member are arranged at different positions facing a different direction from each other.

CONTROL OF A PROPULSION SYSTEM HAVING A FUEL CELL
A propulsion system including: a fuel cell assembly comprising a fuel cell, the fuel cell defining an outlet positioned to remove output products from the fuel cell and a fuel cell assembly operating condition; a combustion section that includes a combustor configured to receive a flow of aviation fuel from the aircraft fuel supply and further configured to receive the output products from the fuel cell; and a controller comprising memory and one or more processors, the memory storing instructions that when executed by the one or more processors cause the propulsion system to perform operations including: determining data indicative of at least one of an enthalpy or a composition of the output products from the fuel cell; and modifying the flow of aviation fuel from the aircraft fuel supply to the combustor based on the at least one of the enthalpy or the composition of the output products.
VERSATILE CONTROL OF A PROPULSION SYSTEM WITH A FUEL CELL
A propulsion system for an aircraft includes a fuel cell assembly, the fuel cell assembly including a fuel cell, and a turbomachine, the turbomachine including a compressor section, a combustor, and a turbine section arranged in serial flow order. The combustor is configured to receive a flow of fuel and further configured to receive output products from the fuel cell. A controller is configured to receive data indicative of an engine constraint of the turbomachine, determine that the engine constraint has achieved a fuel cell trim threshold; and perform a fuel cell corrective action with the fuel cell assembly in response to determining that the engine constraint has achieved the fuel cell trim threshold.
Method for controlling heating of hybrid vehicle
A method for controlling heating of a hybrid vehicle is provided. The vehicle includes a duct flowing air into the indoor of the hybrid vehicle from the outside, a heater core for circulating the coolant heated from an engine inside the duct, a PTC heater heated by the power supplied from a high-voltage battery of the hybrid vehicle inside the duct, and a controller. The controller operates the engine and the PTC heater and heats the air flowing into the indoor of the hybrid vehicle through the duct. The voltage supplied to the PTC heater from a low voltage DC-DC converter (LDC) is changed based on the state of the engine and an auxiliary battery for supplying power to an electric component of the vehicle to apply power to the PTC heater.
Vehicle
A vehicle includes a main drive unit, a sub drive unit, and a control unit. The main drive unit includes a main drive rotary electric machine. The sub drive unit includes a sub drive rotary electric machine. The control unit includes a driving force distribution ratio setting unit configured to set a driving force distribution ratio between the main driving force and the sub driving force and is configured to control the outputs of the main drive unit and the sub drive unit so that the main driving force and the sub driving force have the driving force distribution ratio set by the driving force distribution ratio setting unit. The driving force distribution ratio setting unit is configured to set the driving force distribution ratio to minimize electric power loss of the vehicle based on a vehicle speed of the vehicle and a required driving force of the vehicle.
MODULAR CHARGING AND POWER SYSTEM
A modular charging and power system for generating and supplying electrical power to electric vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles, other manned and unmanned remotely operated vehicles, drones, robotics, marine and aerospace vehicles, equipment, or apparatus, portable power units, propulsion systems, and other electrically powered systems. The modular charging and power system comprises a racking system for retaining one or more interchangeable power modules. Each power module comprises a generator driven by a power unit, a compressor to deliver high-pressure driving fluid to the power unit, and a battery bank. Electrical power generated by the generator powers the compressor, the battery bank, and/or an external electronic device or system.
