The present disclosure provides a structural member for a vehicle. The structural member comprises a plurality of finned spar members interlocked with one another, wherein each of the finned spar members include a main body, a plurality of web members extending from a flange, a circuit board formed on the main body, and a bus bar formed on the main body, wherein a compartment is formed between adjacent web members, each compartment being sized to receive a battery.

Power supply during vehicle off state

A power system for a vehicle includes a control module, a low-voltage battery electrically coupled to the control module, a high-voltage battery electrically coupled to the control module, an engine electrically coupled to the high-voltage battery, and a computer. The computer is programmed to, while the vehicle is in an off state, in response to a pending download to the control module, provide power to the control module with one of the low-voltage battery, the high-voltage battery, or the engine upon determining whether the low-voltage battery and the high-voltage battery have sufficient charge to power the control module for the download.

CONSTRUCTION MACHINE

To provide a construction machine capable of preventing damages of batteries placed on a machine-body frame. A construction machine comprises a machine-body frame, a supporting plate installed on the machine-body frame via elastic mounts, and batteries fixed to a topside of the supporting plate. Welding is not performed on the supporting plate.

BATTERY PACK ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE

A battery pack assembly for a vehicle includes a tray assembly fixed under a floor panel in a vehicle height direction and on which a battery pack-associated component is placed. The tray assembly has a base with a first edge portion and a second edge portion opposite the first edge portion. Each of the first and second edge portions is extended upward relative to the height direction from the base and secured to a frame assembly. A deformation feature is provided at a transition area between the base and the second edge portion. During a crash event the second edge portion is adapted to bend toward the base via the deformation feature allowing a displacement of the base in one of a vehicle front-back direction and a vehicle width direction and also downward in the height direction.

SERVICE CARTS FOR FOOD, BEVERAGE, AND OTHER APPLICATIONS
20220396193 · 2022-12-15 ·

Service vehicles, such as compact service carts (e.g., compact electric vehicles), are described that support a variety of service applications. One such vehicle (100) generally includes a vehicle platform (102) and a service box (104). The vendor box (104) includes canopy doors (106) for each of the sides (110, 112, and 114). The canopy doors (106) are movable between a closed position, where the canopy door (106) encloses the service area (108), and an open position where the canopy doors (106) extend outwardly from the sides 110, 112 and 114. In the open position, the doors (106) thus function as a canopy to provide shade at the service area 108 and maximize the space available for rendering services on the sides (110, 112 and 114) of the box (104). The inventive vehicles are adaptable to meet the needs of a wide variety of service applications including food and beverage applications, medical applications, and others.
