VEHICLE CHARGING METHOD, DEVICE, AND VEHICLE
A vehicle charging method includes obtaining overall trip information of a vehicle, the overall trip information including at least one trip segment, assigning a charging strategy to each trip segment, and according to the trip segment and a corresponding charging mode, performing a charging service on the vehicle during a trip of the vehicle. In response to existence of a driving trip segment, a driving charging mode is assigned corresponding to the driving trip segment. In response to existence of a parking trip segment, a stationary charging mode is assigned corresponding to the parking trip segment.
POWER DISTRIBUTION BASED ON MOBILE DATA
An example operation includes one or more of receiving data related to an auxiliary charge from one or more of electric transports, charging stations, and energy storage units proximate a moving transport, determining an energy capability at a location associated with a final destination of the moving transport, where the location is proximate the electric transports, charging stations, and energy storage units, and responsive to the energy capability being below a threshold, initiating transfer of the auxiliary charge between the location and the electric transports, charging stations, and energy storage units, based on the data.
Server and power management system
A power management system includes a plurality of power storages and a server. The server includes a selector that selects at least one of the plurality of power storages, a scheduler that makes a schedule for the selected power storage, and a request processor that requests a user of the selected power storage to promote external charging, suppress external charging, or carry out external power feed in accordance with the made schedule. The server obtains power run-out information that indicates power run-out risk for each power storage and carries out at least one of selection of the power storage and making of the schedule in accordance with a type of a request based on the obtained power run-out information.
Distance-to-empty presentation apparatus and presentation method of distance to empty
A distance-to-empty presentation apparatus of a fuel cell vehicle includes: a traveling speed acquisition unit configured to acquire a traveling speed of the fuel cell vehicle; a traveling distance acquisition unit configured to acquire a traveling distance of the fuel cell vehicle in a fuel filling period, the fuel filling period is a period from the time when the fuel is filled in the fuel cell vehicle previously to the time when the fuel is filled in the fuel cell vehicle this time; a fuel residual amount acquisition unit configured to acquire a fuel residual amount of the fuel cell vehicle; a fuel consumption amount acquisition unit configured to acquire a fuel consumption amount of the fuel cell vehicle; a fuel efficiency calculation unit configured to calculate fuel filling period fuel efficiency by using the traveling distance in the fuel filling period and a traveling period fuel consumption amount that is the fuel consumption amount during traveling preparation and during traveling in the fuel filling period, wherein the fuel filling period fuel efficiency is fuel efficiency in the fuel filling period; a distance-to-empty calculation unit configured to calculate a distance to empty of the fuel cell vehicle by using the fuel filling period fuel efficiency and the fuel residual amount; and a presentation device configured to present the distance to empty.
TRANSPORT CHARGE OFFLOAD MANAGEMENT
An example operation includes one or more of initiating, by a transport, a request to provide a first portion of stored energy to a charging station, determining, by the charging station, an actual amount of energy needed by the transport, wherein the determining is based on a first destination of the transport and on data received by the charging station based on a route associated with the first destination, wherein the actual amount of energy is not the same amount as the first portion of stored energy, and depositing, by the transport, the actual amount of energy in the charging station.
BATTERY ASSEMBLY FOR AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE, VEHICLE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE
A battery assembly for an electric vehicle including a first battery unit, a DC/DC converter, and a battery receptacle for selectively receiving a second battery unit. The first battery unit is electrically connected to the DC/DC converter. Moreover, a first electric connection interface is positioned in the battery receptacle and is electrically connected to the DC/DC converter. Additionally, a vehicle including such a battery assembly is presented. Furthermore, a method for operating an electric vehicle is explained. A first operational mode includes electrically connecting the first battery unit to an electric traction machine and electrically connecting the second battery unit to the first battery unit. A second operational mode includes electrically connecting the second battery unit to the electric traction machine.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR QUEUE MANAGEMENT OF MACHINES BASED ON BATTERY-RELATED CHARACTERISTICS
Systems and methods can position or provide a mobile machine in a queue of a plurality of the mobile machines such that an estimated future amount of energy of an energy source if the mobile machine is at or above a required amount of energy of the energy source to complete a predetermined task after the mobile machine reaches an end of the queue. Such positioning or providing can include or be moving the mobile machine up or forward in the queue from a condition where the estimated future amount of energy of the energy source is less than the required amount of energy of the energy source to complete the predetermined task after the mobile machine reaches the end of the queue.
METHOD OF ESTIMATING THE REMAINING DRIVING DISTANCE AVAILABLE FROM A CHARGE FOR A POWERED MOBILITY DEVICE
A method of estimating the remaining driving distance available from a current charge of a battery of an electrically powered mobility device, wherein the method comprises: a) determining a state of charge of the battery based on a measured battery-related parameter, b) determining a state of health of the battery based on the state of charge, and c) estimating the remaining driving distance that the mobility device can travel with the current charge based on the state of charge and the state of health, wherein step b) involves determining the state of health based on actual consumed ampere hours of the battery.
