Seat adjuster with additional locking means
A seat adjuster having a fixed part (12), a drive element (26), an output element (22, 24), a clamping body coupling arrangement (16) by means of which a back and forth movement of the drive element (22, 24) out of a neutral position and back into the neutral position is converted into a continued movement of the output element (22, 24) in a uniform direction of rotation, and a releasable locking device for locking the output element (22) in a form-fitting manner on the fixed part (12), characterized in that the locking device is formed by a locking ring (74) which is axially displaceable between a locking position, in which it is non-rotatably coupled to the output element (22), and a release position, and cam surfaces (82, 84) are formed on the locking ring (74) and the drive element (26), which cam surfaces are complementary to one another and translate a rotation of the drive element (26) away from the neutral position into an axial movement of the locking ring (74) into the released position.
Seating system for a vehicle
A seating system for a vehicle includes a seat cushion and a seat back pivotably attached to the seat cushion. A latch arrangement has a locked position for inhibiting pivoting of the seat back relative to the seat cushion and an open position for facilitating pivoting of the seat back relative to the seat cushion. A rotatable actuator defines a first radius and a second radius. A first flexible member is attached to the rotatable actuator at the first radius such that tensioning the first flexible member rotates the rotatable actuator in a first direction. A second flexible member is attached to the latch arrangement and the rotatable actuator at the second radius such that rotation of the rotatable actuator in the first direction tensions the second flexible member and moves the latch arrangement from the locked position to the open position.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat comprising: a seat cushion; a seat back; an actuator capable of changing an orientation of the seat back laterally by moving a pressure-receiving member; and a controller configured to exercise control over the actuator. The controller includes a posture control unit configured to execute, during turning of a vehicle, a seat posture control under which the actuator is caused to move the pressure-receiving member from an initial position to an advanced position to cause the seat back to orient toward a turning direction. The posture control unit is configured to activate, when an execution time of the seat posture control has become equal to or greater than an execution time threshold value, a control under which the actuator is caused to move the pressure-receiving member from the advanced position to an intermediate position to reversely change the orientation of the seat back.
Recliner for vehicle seat
A recliner for a vehicle seat is configured such that a plurality of stop protrusions is provided along an edge of a center hole formed in a control plate, and fore-end corners of the stop protrusions are stopped by the outer circumferential surface of a rod part of an input member when the rod part of the input member passes through the center hole of the control plate, whereby the coupling and assembly of the input member is performed by the stop protrusions of the control plate.

Torque transfer control mechanism and seat structure
A torque transfer control mechanism that suppresses output-side displacement, and including a rotation control unit that maintains a locked state when an input torque rotating a transfer mechanism is not applied, and releases the locked state when the transfer mechanism rotates. The rotation control unit includes an internal gear and lock plates that include outer teeth that can engage with inner teeth of the internal gear. When an input torque is not applied, the inner teeth of the internal gear engage with the outer teeth of the lock plates, and when the transfer mechanism is rotated, engagement between the inner teeth and the outer teeth is released. Thus, even when torque is applied from the output unit side, engagement between the inner teeth and the outer teeth is not released by the torque.
Angle adjusting device and seat having the same
An angle adjusting device is provided, which includes a ratchet, multiple sliders, an expansion and retraction mechanism, and a sliding groove plate. The ratchet is provided with n inner teeth; and m slider groups consisting of the multiple sliders include one base slider group and m1 deflecting slider groups, where the outer teeth of the deflecting slider groups have an angular deflection about a central shaft of the ratchet with respect to the outer teeth of the base slider group, and the angular deflection is (Z+k/m)360/n degrees, and 1km1, and the expansion and retraction mechanism is capable of simultaneously push the multiple sliders to extend in radial directions. The outer teeth of different sliders can simultaneously abut against or be engaged with the inner teeth at different phases, thus achieving the stable securing and stepless adjusting of the ratchet position.
CONVERTIBLE PASSENGER SEAT FOR A VEHICLE
A convertible passenger seat for a vehicle including a back seat portion and a bottom seat portion, the bottom seat portion incorporating a baby seat assembly, the baby seat assembly having at least one baby seat support surface and the baby seat assembly being movable from a non-baby seat usable operative orientation, in which a first surface of the bottom seat portion defines a non baby seat surface, to a baby seat usable operative orientation in which at least one second surface of the bottom seat portion, different from the first surface, defines the at least one baby seat support surface.
Vehicle seat
Provided is a vehicle seat capable of resisting a large load in a forward or rearward direction while reducing increase in size and weight. The vehicle seat comprises a cushion frame, a back frame, a tilting member arranged on a pivot axis of the back frame and configured to transmit to the back frame a pivoting force to pivot the back frame, an engagement member coupled to the back frame and displaceable between an engaged position in which engagement with the tilting member is made and an unengaged position in which the engagement is released, a locking member displaceable between a locking position to retain the engagement member in the engaged position and a non-locking position, and a stopper fixed to the back frame and capable of receiving, through the engagement member, an external force that acts on the engagement member located in the engaged position.
DEVICE FOR TILTING THE BACKREST OF A VEHICLE SEAT AND METHOD FOR MOUNTING SUCH A TILTING DEVICE
A device for tilting the backrest of a vehicle seat and a method for mounting the device. The device includes a backrest hinge and a handle element fixed to the backrest hinge. The handle element is formed of a metallic material.
