Cross member for seat recliner assembly
A vehicle seat recliner assembly includes a first recliner heart, a second recliner heart, hand lever and a cross member. The first recliner heart is mounted to a bracket. The second recliner heart is mounted to another bracket. The hand lever is mounted to the first recliner heart and rotatable relative to the brackets to move the first recliner heart between a locked state and an unlocked state. The cross member is connected to the first and second recliner hearts and transmitting torque from the hand lever to the second recliner heart to move the second recliner heart with the first recliner heart between the locked and unlocked states. The cross member has a central part and a plurality of projections extending radially around and from the central part such that the plurality of projections are spaced apart from each other.
Release mechanism
A release mechanism generates a force on a cable to operate an adjustment mechanism or the like in a seat or other device. The release mechanism includes a rotor, a housing, a spring, and a cover that attaches to the housing. The spring generates a torque, and the spring also axially biases the rotor into engagement with the cover to prevent rattling.
ROTATIONAL COUPLER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A rotational coupler in one aspect of the present disclosure includes a plate-shaped first member, a plate-shaped second member, a tapered portion, and an outer circumferential ring. The outer circumferential ring includes a first ring flange configured to externally come into contact with the first member. The outer circumferential ring includes a bent portion in a middle part of the second ring flange in an extending direction. The bent portion is bent to protrude toward the first plate of the first member.
Vehicle Seat and Angle Adjustment Device Thereof
A vehicle seat and an angle adjustment device thereof. The angle adjustment device comprises an unlock cam (3), a ratchet wheel (2) provided with internal teeth, and a plurality of slide blocks (4) disposed circumferentially and provided with external teeth. The angle adjustment device further comprises a plurality of extension and retraction blocks (6) corresponding to the slide blocks (4), wherein the extension and retraction block (6) is capable of driving the slide block (4) to move outwards in a radial direction so as to engage the internal teeth with the external teeth. A second elastic member (52) is provided between two adjacent extension and retraction blocks (6), and two ends of the second elastic member (52) in a deformation direction are respectively connected to the unlock cam (3) and the extension and retraction block (6).
Vehicle seat reclining device
In this vehicle seat reclining device, the annular protrusion of a ratchet has a first region, a second region, and a third region, which are arranged circumferentially, and the outer side surface of the ratchet has a fourth region. The protrusion is shaped so that the third region extends further radially outward than the second region. As a result, the portion of the fourth region, which corresponds to the third region, extends further radially outward than the portion of the fourth region, which corresponds to the second region.
Recliner mechanism for seat assembly and method of manufacturing
A method for manufacturing a recliner heart may include supporting a guide plate of the recliner heart with a first support member, positioning a first block onto the guide plate opposite the first support member, positioning a second block in a recess of the guide plate, and applying a force to the first block. The second block may be disposed in the recess such that a gap is formed between the guide plate and the second block. A force may be applied to the first block such that material of the guide plate moves into the gap formed between the guide plate and the second block.
Reclining apparatus
A reclining apparatus includes an inner tooth member, an outer tooth member, a pair of wedges, an urging member that urges the pair of wedges, and a striker that moves the pair of wedges. Each of the pair of wedges includes a wedge body, a first end portion, a second end portion, and a protrusion. The striker includes a pair of pressing portions that presses the protrusion. Each of the pressing portions includes a pressing site having a pressing surface that presses the protrusion, and a movement restraining site that is provided on an opposite side of the pressing surface in the pressing site and restrains the wedge from moving.
Recliner Mechanism Having Bracket
A recliner mechanism includes a housing plate and a recliner heart. The housing plate includes a plate body. The recliner heart is mounted to the housing plate and operable in an unlocked state permitting relative rotation between a seat back and a seat bottom, and a locked state preventing relative rotation between the seatback and the seat bottom. The housing plate includes a fore end proximate a front of the seat bottom and an aft end opposing the fore end and proximate a rear end of the seat bottom. The plate body includes a protrusion extending outwardly therefrom at or near the aft end.
SHAFTED RECLINERS DUAL DECOUPLING SYSTEM
An occupant support adapted for use in a vehicle includes a seat bottom coupled to a floor of the vehicle and a seat back configured to pivot about a seat-back pivot axis relative to the seat bottom between an upright position and a folded-forward position. The occupant support further includes a seat-motion controller configured to control movement of the seat back relative to the seat bottom.
SEAT RECLINING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
This seat reclining device for a vehicle is provided with a first bracket, a second bracket, a cam, and a second pole and third pole which, with rotation or displacement of the cam, move in the radial direction of the first bracket and engage with the second bracket. The second pole and the third pole have sliding grooves which extend in a direction corresponding to the radial movement. The first bracket has engaging protrusions which are slidably inserted into the sliding grooves, and, when the second bracket is engaged with the second pole and the third pole, the engaging protrusions bias in a direction intersecting the radial movement of the second pole and the third pole through contact with the inner surface of the sliding groove.
