On-demand furniture
A vehicle includes a body and a furniture module. The body defines a passenger compartment, and the furniture module includes a framing system mounted to the body in the passenger compartment and a surfacing system mounted to the framing system. The furniture module is operable to shift between a body-like form factor and a furniture form factor. In the body-like form factor, the furniture module is flattened along the body, with the framing system collapsed along the body, and the surfacing system spatially arranged along the body with the framing system. In the furniture form factor, the furniture module extends beyond the body to render on-demand furniture including a furniture frame and an overlying furniture surface, with the framing system expanded beyond the body to establish the furniture frame, and the surfacing system spatially arranged beyond the body to establish the overlying furniture surface.
ARTIFICIAL IMMUNITY BRAIN COMPUTER INTERFACE SYSTEM
Driving while feeling drowsy can cause fatal accidents. Current drowsiness detection devices are slow and inefficient. Mental drowsiness detection can predict a fatigue state early enough to engage the autopilot mechanism. Disclosed is a wearable EEG BCI adaptive VLSI architecture that can detect sleep faster.
Vehicle Seat having Integrate Child Carrier
The vehicle seat includes an integral child carrier that deploys and unfolds for use as either a child seat or an infant cradle for safely transporting infants while being conveniently stowed when not in use. The child carrier includes a folding seat/cradle that in certain embodiments doubles as both an upright child seat and reclined infant cradle. The folding seat/cradle rides on its own carrier sub-frame that is mounted to the main seat back frame. The carrier sub-frame allows the seat/cradle movement between a stowed position where the folded seat/cradle lies flat within or against the seat back frame and a deployed position where the unfolded seat/cradle extends outward from the seat back frame. The carrier sub-frame includes one or more slide rails, slide blocks, a linkage member and a latch assembly. The seat/cradle includes a seat panel hinged to a back panel that unfold to form a secure seat or cradle from a flat stowed package.
