Vehicle seat having a suspension unit for cushioning rolling and vertical suspension movements
The invention relates to a vehicle seat having a suspension unit for cushioning the rolling and vertical suspension movements of the vehicle seat, wherein the vehicle seat has a vehicle seat upper part and a vehicle seat lower part, wherein the vehicle seat upper part and the vehicle seat upper part are connected by means of the suspension unit so that the vehicle seat upper part and the vehicle seat lower part are movable relative to one another, wherein the suspension unit comprises a scissor arrangement having a first scissor arm and a second scissor arm, characterised in that the suspension unit is rotatably connected about a first axis of rotation to the vehicle seat lower part and comprises a spring element support and a first spring element, the first spring element being connected on the one hand to the vehicle seat lower part and on the other hand to the spring element support which is rotatably connected about a second axis of rotation to the first scissor arm and rotatably connected about a third axis of rotation to the second scissor arm, and the first spring element being preferably arranged at a first angle to a vehicle seat width direction and at a second angle to a vehicle seat height direction.
ADJUSTING INTERIOR CONFIGURATION OF A VEHICLE BASED ON VEHICLE OPERATION
A system and method are provided for controlling an interior configuration of a vehicle. The system may include an interior vehicle component, an actuator component configured to adjust a physical configuration of the interior vehicle component, a vehicle operation controller configured to generate vehicle operation data representing the operation of the vehicle, and one or more processors configured to receive vehicle operation data and detect, by processing the vehicle operation data, a specific action taken by the vehicle. When the one or more processors detect a specific action taken by the vehicle, the one or more processors may cause the actuator component to adjust the interior vehicle component from a first physical configuration to a second physical configuration.
Vehicle seat
A seat cushion is swingable about an axis A with respect to a seat cushion support frame that is a part of a main frame. A cushion return spring that is a flat spring is disposed between the seat cushion and the seat cushion support frame so that an elastic force of the cushion return spring returns the seat cushion to a neutral position. A pair of clamp rollers that clamps the cushion return spring is disposed. The clamp rollers are movable along a longitudinal axis of the cushion return spring. Changing of a clamping position by moving the clamp rollers changes an effective length of the cushion return spring. In this way, a swingable range of the seat cushion and a force to return the seat cushion to the neutral position are changed.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR STATE BASED CONTROL OF ACTIVE PLATFORMS
Embodiments related to systems and methods for controlling an active vehicle seat are described. In some embodiments, the active vehicle seat is controlled based at least partly on internal sensor information, external sensor information, and operator input from a user interface.
Active Cushion Shape Adjustment for Vehicle Seats
A seat bolster control system for a vehicle seat including an adjustable seat with adjustable bolsters, a sensor capable of sensing a position of the adjustable seat, a controller in communication with the sensor and an adjusting device which can control adjustment of the adjustable bolsters. The seat bolster control system can automatically adjust based on the position of the adjustable seat, such as if the adjustable seat moves away from a neutral position.
KINETIC SEAT CUSHIONS FOR VEHICLES
A kinetic seat cushion assembly that rotates based on a force applied on an occupant seated therein is provided. The kinetic seat cushion assembly includes a primary seat cushion frame, a secondary seat cushion frame, a seat cushion tilt mechanism coupling the secondary seat cushion frame to the primary seat cushion frame such that the secondary seat cushion frame is movable with respect to the primary seat cushion frame, and a front pivot mechanism that pivotally couples a front portion of the primary seat cushion frame to a front portion of the secondary seat cushion frame.
SEAT TILTING SYSTEM
A seat tilting system for tilting a seat, in particular a vehicle seat, may have at least a seat support structure to support and mount the seat, a base platform defining a reference plane, and a number of swivel actuators coupling the seat support structure relative to the base platform. At least a first swivel actuator is configured to swivel the seat support structure with respect to the base platform around a first swivel axis. At least a second swivel actuator is configured to swivel the seat support structure with respect to the base platform around a second swivel axis. At least a third swivel actuator is configured to rotate the seat support structure around a third swivel axis perpendicular to the base platform.
Seat control apparatus
A seat control apparatus controls a seat of a vehicle in which an occupant of the vehicle sits. The seat control apparatus includes an occupant weight recognition unit; an occupant sitting state recognition unit configured to recognize an occupant sitting state including at least either of a grip force of the occupant and a load applied to the occupant; a lateral acceleration estimation unit configured to estimate a subsequent lateral acceleration of the vehicle; and a seat controller configured to control the seat. The seat has an occupant support adjustment portion including at least one of a first adjustment portion, a second adjustment portion, and a third adjustment portion. The seat controller calculates an adjustment amount of the occupant support adjustment portion and controls the occupant support adjustment portion in response to the calculated adjustment amount.
VEHICLE SEAT HAVING A SUSPENSION UNIT FOR CUSHIONING ROLLING AND VERTICAL SUSPENSION MOVEMENTS
A vehicle seat having a suspension unit for cushioning the rolling and vertical suspension movements of the vehicle seat, wherein the vehicle seat has a vehicle seat upper part and a vehicle seat lower part, wherein the vehicle seat upper part and the vehicle seat upper part are connected by means of the suspension unit so that the vehicle seat upper part and the vehicle seat lower part are movable relative to one another, wherein the suspension unit has a scissor arrangement having a first scissor arm and a second scissor arm, the suspension unit is rotatably connected about a first axis of rotation to the vehicle seat lower part and comprises a spring element support and a first spring element, wherein a displacement element is provided which is mounted displaceably with respect to the vehicle seat lower part, wherein the first spring element is connected on the one hand to the displacement element and on the other hand to the spring element support, which is rotatably connected about a second axis of rotation to the first scissor arm and rotatably connected about a third axis of rotation to the second scissor arm.
VEHICLE SEAT HAVING A SUSPENSION UNIT FOR CUSHIONING ROLLING AND VERTICAL SUSPENSION MOVEMENTS
