Vehicle seating arrangements

A seating arrangement for a vehicle is shown to include a plurality of seats, including at least two front seats, at least two rear seats, and a rear jump seat positioned intermediate the two rear seats. The jump seat comprises a seat back which is positioned rearwardly of the rear seats, and the rear seats are movable laterally between a first position where the rear seats are proximate to each other and generally covering the seat back of the jump seat, and a second position where the rear seats are spaced apart from each other and the seat back of the jump seat is exposed. The arrangement may also include rear seats which are rotatable relative to the seat backs to provide a storage surface.

A seat module adapted to be attached to a seat having mechanical parts and electric devices for seat operation in a motor vehicle includes at least one operating cable for activating at least one device, and a module plate formed with a mounting feature for attaching to the seat and a retention feature for attaching the at least one operating cable. An end portion of the operating cable is temporarily stowed on the module plate in a pre-assembled state where the operating cable is attached to the module plate, and the end portion of the operating cable is connected to the electric devices and/or mechanical parts of the seat in an assembled state where the module plate with the retained operating cables is securely mounted to the seat.

The pad has a transverse air passage extending in a direction along a back surface of the pad and a plurality of longitudinal air passages each having one end connecting with the transverse air passage and the other end open to a front surface of the pad. The transverse air passage has a first transverse air passage connecting an air introduction hole from a fan or an air discharge hole to the fan and the longitudinal air passage directly with each other, and a second transverse air passage connecting the air introduction hole or the air discharge hole and the longitudinal air passage with each other via a resistant body having a resistance against an air flow.

A vehicle seat comprises a seat bottom having a bottom cushion and a seat back coupled to the seat bottom with the seat back having a back cushion. At least one of the bottom cushion and the back cushion defines a passage. The vehicle seat further comprises a blower assembly coupled to one of the seat bottom and the seat back. The blower assembly comprises a housing and a stator, which is coupled to the housing and comprises a plurality of driving coils. The blower assembly further comprises a rotor rotatably coupled to the housing about a rotational axis, with the rotor comprising a plurality of permanent magnets arranged to generate a flux concentrated on the driving coils. The blower assembly further comprises an impeller coupled to the rotor to rotate about the rotational axis to generate a flow of air through the passage.

Vehicle seat

A vehicle seat according to the present invention includes: a seat back frame constituting a framework of a seat back; a blower disposed in the seat back; a bracket to which the blower is fixed; and a cover member provided on the rear side of the seat back frame. Herein, the bracket is fixed to the cover member with the seat back frame being held between the bracket and the cover member.
