Clip and Method of Producing the Same
Clip includes a clip body provided with an accommodating space extending in a front-rear direction, and left and right wings coupled to the clip body in a left-right direction orthogonal to the front-rear direction. Each of the left and right wings includes front edge and rear edge which extend away from the clip body along the left-right direction. In one or both of the left and right wings, the front edge slants linearly or non-linearly forward of the clip as the front edge extends away from the clip body.
Vehicle seat having a seat cover
A vehicle seat including: a seat cover including: a general cover part; and a sheet-shaped member configured by one sheet and folded inward, and an internal structure covered with the seat cover, and the sheet-shaped member has: a drawing cover part locked to the internal structure; and a concealing cover part covering the drawing cover part from outside of the seat, the sheet-shaped member has: a connection end part; and a pair of free end parts extending from the connection end part, and the sheet-shaped member is connected to an edge of the general cover part at a connection part on the connection end part, and the drawing cover part is formed at one of the pair of free end parts disposed inside the seat and the concealing cover part is formed at the other one of the pair of free end parts disposed outside the seat.
VEHICLE SEAT
In a vehicle seat, a back pad outer skin covering a surface of a back pad includes a first portion covering a surface of one part, including a side face, of a bolster pad part, and second portions covering a surface of another part that is different from the one part of the bolster pad part. A bound part is formed by binding to each other mutually adjacent end parts of the first portion and the second portions and extremity parts of expansive force transmission webbings having base portions fixed to a frame, the bound part being capable of breaking when an airbag is made to expand. A non-stretchable cloth member is disposed on a reverse side of specific outer skin portions, covering a front face of the bolster pad part, of the second portions.
Attachment assembly for seating assembly cover
A vehicle seating assembly is provided. The vehicle seating assembly may comprise an inner cover including an inner cover attachment part, an outer cover including an outer cover attachment part, a cushion including a trench, and an anchor assembly disposed in the trench and extending between the inner cover attachment part and an anchor member, wherein the inner cover attachment part and the outer cover attachment part are attachable to one another to form a disengageable seal at least partially disposed in the trench.
RETAINING ARRANGEMENT FOR A VEHICLE SEAT
A retaining arrangement for a vehicle seat that has a support structure and a cover material includes a first leg having at least one first retention feature, and a second leg connected to the first leg. The second leg includes a plurality of second retention features positioned along a length of the second leg. The second leg is configured to cooperate with the first leg to capture a portion of the support structure between the first leg and second leg.
Conveyance seat
The number of components required to restrict the movement of an operating section, when a cushion frame is moved in the height direction, and a link member, which is for moving the cushion frame, is reduced. The seat is provided with: a drive link that is rotatably attached to the cushion frame and that moves the cushion frame in the height direction according to rotation thereof; a gear part that engages with the drive link and that rotates the drive link; a link-rotation restricting member for restricting the rotation range of the drive link; an operating section that accepts an operation for adjusting the height of the cushion frame; and a rotation application section for rotating the drive link via the gear part according to the operating section. The movement of the operating section is restricted as a result of the link-rotation restricting member abutting against the rotation application section.
Seat assembly and trim member
A trim member may include an elongated first portion and a plurality of second portions connected to the first portion. The plurality of second portions may include a body portion, a cover portion, an aperture, and an opening. The body portion may be connected to the first portion. The cover portion may be connected to and protrude outward from an end of the body portion. The aperture may extend at least partially through the body portion and the cover portion in a first direction. The aperture may be configured to receive at least a portion of a headrest in a direction that is oblique or perpendicular to the first direction via said portion of said headrest passing through the opening.
Close-out for armrest cavity
A seatback includes a trim cover/foam assembly including a foam cushion with a trim cover assembly disposed thereon. The trim cover/foam assembly has an occupant support side and a rear side opposite to the occupant support side, and defines an opening therethrough. The trim cover assembly includes a rear panel on the rear side for closing the opening. The seatback also includes an attachment member on the rear side of the trim cover/foam assembly configured to engage the rear panel and an armrest assembly including an armrest pivotally disposed on a frame at a rear portion of the armrest, with the armrest configured to pass through the opening. Upon installation of the armrest assembly, the rear panel is secured to the attachment member and sandwiched between the rear portion and the attachment member.
CONNECTED SEAT CLIP
A strip of connected clips for holding a trim cover to a vehicle seat includes a plurality of clips which are attached together via breakaway hinges. Each clip includes a base section attached to a barbed retainer section. Characteristically, individual clips can be broken off the strip while leaving the rest of the strip intact.
Method for producing seat core material, and seat core material
A method for producing a seat core material that has a foamed molded substrate and a frame member embedded in a periphery thereof, which includes, as step (a), heating thermoplastic resin expanded beads in a mold cavity, in which the frame member has been disposed, to fusion-bond the expanded beads to each other and to obtain the foamed molded substrate with the frame member being embedded in the periphery thereof; and, as step (b), simultaneously with step (a) or after step (a), forming a void cavity S, S in the foamed molded substrate at a position along and adjacent to the frame member. The void cavity S, S has a size and shape that allows a relative displacement between the frame member and the foamed molded substrate when the foamed molded substrate shrinks after step (b).
