The trim cover assembly includes a rear panel on the rear side for closing the opening. The seatback also includes an attachment member on the rear side of the trim cover/foam assembly configured to engage the rear panel and an armrest assembly including an armrest pivotally disposed on a frame at a rear portion of the armrest, with the armrest configured to pass through the opening. Upon installation of the armrest assembly, the rear panel is secured to the attachment member and sandwiched between the rear portion and the attachment member.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat includes a seat pad configured to support an occupant and having a through-hole extending through the seat pad in a direction from an occupant sitting side toward a side opposite to the occupant sitting side; and a frame member attached to an opening end of the through-hole on the occupant sitting side, the frame member having an opening configured such that a fixation connecting portion of a child safety seat is inserted into the opening. The frame member is provided with an attaching portion attached to the seat pad. The seat pad includes an attachment pad portion provided integrally with an attachment member including an attachment portion to which the attaching portion of the frame member is attached, the attachment pad portion constituting a part of an inner wall surface of the through-hole. The attaching portion is fixed to the attachment portion with a fixing member.
INTEGRATED DECKING ARM SUPPORT FEATURE
A seating assembly includes a seatback having a frame and a cushion assembly. A cushion carrier includes a lower member defining a frame receiving cavity. A first set of ribs extend across the frame receiving cavity in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal extent of the lower member. The first set of ribs extend between the lower member and a lower brace of the frame. A second set of ribs are parallel with the first set of ribs. The second set of ribs are longer than the first set of ribs.
SEATBACK COMFORT CARRIER
A vehicle seating assembly includes a seatback. A back panel includes a front closeout panel. A carrier supports the seatback and includes an upper thoracic region having a peripheral support. A peripheral gap is defined between the front closeout panel and the upper thoracic region. A bottom portion of the upper thoracic region includes a lower wall having a sinusoidal configuration. A lower lumber region includes a peripheral support. A peripheral gap is defined between the front closeout panel and the lower lumber region. An upper portion of the lower lumbar region includes an upper wall having a sinusoidal configuration. A plurality of concave connectors couple the lower wall of the upper thoracic region with the upper wall of the lower lumber region.
Device and method for setting or removing seat trim
A device and method for setting trim on or removing trim from seats. An assembly in accordance with the present invention may include a handle and any number of inserts may be used by a single operator for either settling or removing trim from a seat, such as an automobile seat. The assembly may provide for ease of manually driving and removing trim edge members with respect to receivers.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat comprises: a seatback pad that configures a cushion member of a seatback, with an opening into which a connector of a child seat can be inserted from a seat front formed so as to penetrate through a lower end section of the seatback pad in a seat front-rear direction, and a front end of the opening having a width along a seat width direction that is narrower than a seat width direction width of the connector; a connection member that is provided at a seat rear side with respect to the front end of the opening, and to which the connector inserted into the opening is to be connected; and an elastic member that is provided at the seatback pad.
VEHICLE SEAT
Lower end portions of an edge and another edge are fixed to a wire through pull-in cloths and a fixing member such that the pull-in cloths pull the lower end portions in toward the rear and into an opening (slit). This enables the edge and the another edge to be closed together in a state in which tension is applied to a front covering and a side covering. This enables the external appearance of a seatback to be preserved. Further, the edge and the another edge can be separated from each other, enabling a connector to be inserted into the opening from between the edge and the another edge, and the connector to be connected to an ISOFIX member. An inferior external appearance of the seatback can accordingly be suppressed while securing insertability of the connector.
Bus seat back trim and method and apparatus for making
A bus seat for use in a bus comprises a frame and a seat back secured to a portion of the frame. The bus seat further comprises a seat cushion secured to another portion of the frame. The bus seat also comprises a removable two piece cover arranged over the seat back, wherein the cover pieces are secured to one another with a zipper. The hook is provided with an extended section that extends down from the locking section and a claw-shaped section, and the locking section is provided with a guide piece. The guide piece extends down along the extended section of the hook, bends at a midway bending section, and extends toward the distal end of the claw-shaped section. A wire insertion opening that has a prescribed gap and into which the wire is inserted is formed by the distal end of the guide piece reaching a location that faces the distal end of the claw-shaped section.
