A connecting tool for connecting a first connecting portion and a second connecting portion of at least one connecting member. The connecting tool may include a shaft. The shaft may include a shaft axis, an operational end, and a body. The shaft may include a recess configured to engage said first connecting portion of said at least one connecting member. The operational end may include an aperture configured to engage said second connecting portion of said at least one connecting member.
Drawn instrument for securely attaching a cover
A drawn instrument for securely attaching a cover includes a tape member having left and right surfaces and attachable to a cover, and a drawn portion provided at the end of the tape member and projected from the left and right surfaces of the tape member, the drawn portion extending along the end of the tape member. The drawn portion includes a plurality of attached portions for clip attachment that are separated along the longitudinal direction of the drawn portion and are recessed at both left and right sides, and a plurality of walls separated along the longitudinal direction of the drawn portion and projected at both left and right sides. At both left and right sides each wall is provided adjacent to the attached portion and positioned inwardly of the tape member relative to the attached portion.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat is provided with a seat cushion and a seat back. The seat back is provided with a resin frame at least a part of the rear surface side of which is exposed; a pad material disposed on the resin frame; a trim cover for covering the pad material; and a resin hook mounted to an end of the trim cover. The resin frame has a turned-back end formed by turning back outward in a U shape an end of the resin frame. The resin hook is engaged with the turned-back end. The resin hook has a protrusion at the portion thereof which is located within the turned-back end.
FASTENING STRIP FOR FIXING A SEAT COVERING TO A SEAT CUSHION OF A CAR
One aspect of the present invention provides a fastening strap for fixing a seat covering to a seat cushion of a car. The fastening strap includes a plurality of fastening sections connected in series and each of the fastening section comprises: a substrate having a plurality of hooks formed on a surface thereof; at least one magnetic member disposed on the surface of the substrate; a protective member disposed along a periphery of the substrate to encircle the plurality of hooks; and a flexible connecting portion integrally extending from one end of the substrate in a longitudinal direction of the fastening section to connect to an adjacent fastening section in a spaced apart manner.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat with a child seat may have an engagement member, comprising anchors to hold the child seat. Each anchor may have a pair of left and right side bars and a front bar coupled to the side bars. The front bars are engaged with the engagement member. The side bars are secured by brackets to a connecting pipe of the seat cushion or the seatback. Each recess may be made in a pad. A trim cover may have openings each above the recess. The engagement member may have a bifurcated shape and has a groove engaged with the front bar. The connecting members, having one end connected to a trim cover terminal behind the opening and the other end engaged with the bracket, may be wound around the connecting pipe and stretched between the bracket and the trim cover terminal, each drawing the terminal into the recess.
VEHICULAR SEAT
With respect to a vehicular seat, a hook member of a seat skin and a seat frame structure that facilitate assembling of the skin of a seat cushion or a seat back to a seat frame are provided. The vehicular seat includes: a seat cushion to be a seating face portion of the seat; and a seat back provided on the rear side of the seat cushion and to be a backrest portion of the seat. At least either of the seat cushion and the seat back includes an engaging member provided at an end of the skin material thereof with one or more protruded portions. The skin material is engaged with the seat frame by fitting the protruded portions on the engaging member into grooves or openings provided in the seat frame of the vehicular seat.
Seat back structure for vehicle
A seat back structure for a vehicle according to one aspect of the present invention including a headrest, a seat back frame, a pad disposed in front of a surface of the seat back frame, a backrest surface of the pad, and right and left side supports each provided on either side of the backrest surface in a seat width direction, in which a right slit portion and a left slit portion are provided between the backrest surface and the right and the left side supports, respectively, each of the right slit portion and the left slit portion penetrating the pad in the thickness direction of the pad and extending in a vertical direction of the pad, and the right and the left slit portions are spaced apart from each other in the seat width direction.
SEAT FRAME SIDE SHIELD WITH INTEGRAL MOUNTING BRIDGE
A side shield is provided for a seat frame. That side shield includes a body having a housing and an integral mounting bridge as well as a seat control switch assembly. The seat control switch assembly is held in an opening defined between the housing and the integral mounting bridge. In addition, a locator feature is carried on the integral mounting bridge. That locator feature receives a locator lug carried on the seat frame. A seat assembly is also provided.
Conveyance seat
Provided is a conveyance seat including a lateral support portion that provides good appearance. A lateral support portion of a seat back includes a base member that defines an outline of the lateral support portion and a surface cover arranged to cover the base member to form an outer surface of the lateral support portion. The surface cover includes multiple surface cover pieces interfaced with each other to form the surface cover and a strip-shaped body that extends out of the interface between the surface cover pieces in a reverse side portion of the surface cover. In a state where the surface cover covers the base member, the strip-shaped body is pulled toward a side of the base member opposite to that on which the interface is positioned with respect to the base member.
Securing covers over foam cushions
A covered foam cushion (10), such as for an automotive seat, has a foam bun (12) with a contoured outer surface defining an elongated trench (16) between opposing side walls (18, 20). A retainer (28, 28a) is permanently secured to the foam bun and recessed within the trench between the side walls. A cover (14) extends over at least a portion of the foam bun and is held in place by a clip (26, 26a) permanently secured to a distal edge of a flange (24) of the cover within the trench of the foam bun. The clip is fastened to the retainer and has lateral protrusions (30, 30a) that bear against the opposing side walls of the trench.
