Fixing aid for simple fixing of sewn coverings on support parts
A sewn covering for covering support parts includes at least one first and at least one second trim cover element which are connected to one another via a functional seam. A soft insert runs along at least some sections of the functional seam. The seam stump formed by the functional seam can be surrounded by a seam band which can be fixed by the functional seam. To produce such a sewn covering, a band can be used which has an at least partially elastic seam band that is perforated in the longitudinal direction. At least one soft insert is provided in the longitudinal direction of the partially elastic seam band, which insert is fixed to the seam band.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat is provided with a plate member attached to the back of the seat back. The plate member is configured by a core plate and a cover that covers the core plate, the plate member is sewed together with a cover of the back of the seat back, and a sewed part of the cover of the plate member and the cover of the seat back functions as a turning axis of the plate member. The plate member is turned an unfolded state covering concave clearance formed between the back directed upward of the seat back and a floor surface on the back side by pushing down the seat back forward, and the plate member is turned a housed state in which the plate member is piled on the back of the seat back by raising the seat back backward.
Seat cover, seat cover manufacturing method, and vehicle seat
A seat cover (5) of a vehicle seat (1) includes: a welt seam part (17) in which seam allowances (15 and 16) of sewn skin materials (10 and 11) are split to right and left sides to be folded on the skin materials (10 and 11), and are sewn on the skin materials (10 and 11) by stitches (13 and 14) which are formed in the skin materials (10 and 11) along a seam (12) where the skin materials (10 and 11) are sewn; and a hook-and-loop fastener (18) provided in the welt seam part (17). The seam allowances (15 and 16) include edge portions (21 and 22) arranged outside the stitches (13 and 14). The hook-and-loop fastener (18) is fixed in the edge portions (21 and 22).
SAFETY RESTRAINT SYSTEM AND METHOD
The safety restraint system includes a seatbelt retractor fixedly secured to the motor vehicle, a seatbelt webbing, a D-ring fixedly secured to the motor vehicle, a latchplate slidably engaged with the seatbelt webbing, a buckle for releasably capturing the latchplate, and a magnet attached to a vehicle component. The latchplate has a ferro-magnetic portion. The magnet generates a magnetic field to attract and hold the ferro-magnetic portion of the latchplate against the vehicle component.
SEAT AND SEAT TRIM STRUCTURE FOR A VEHICLE AND VEHICLE HAVING SAME
A vehicle seat and seat structure for use with an ISOFIX bar is disclosed. The vehicle seat can include a bottom portion, a back portion, a trim portion located between the bottom portion and the back portion, and left and right ISOFIX bars located at the trim portion. A trim cover, made from a flexible material such as a carpet, fabric, or other known vehicle interior material, can extend from a left side of the seat to a right side of the seat and can include left and right openings configured to allow the ISOFIX bars to pass therethrough. A one-piece integrally molded member can be overmolded onto the flexible material trim cover, and can include left and right pocket indents. The left and right pocket indents can each include a slot configured to allow a respective ISOFIX bar to pass therethrough.
CONVEYANCE SEAT AND SEAT COVER FOR THE SAME
A conveyance seat may include a seat pad, a first recess and a second recess formed in the seat pad. The first recess may have a pad-side engaging member disposed therein. The second recess may have no pad-side engaging member disposed therein. The conveyance seat may include a seat cover configured to cover the seat pad, the seat cover including a plurality of cover pieces, a first stitched portion and a second stitched portion projecting from the seat cover. At the first and second stitched portions, adjacent cover pieces may meet. The first stitched portion may have a cover-side engaging member configured to engage the pad-side engaging member. The second stitched portion may have no cover-side engaging member and may intersect with the first stitched portion at an intersection point. The conveyance seat may include a reinforcement member attached to the second stitched portion and bestriding the intersection point.
Conveyance seat
Provided is a conveyance seat including a lateral support portion that provides good appearance. A lateral support portion of a seat back includes a base member that defines an outline of the lateral support portion and a surface cover arranged to cover the base member to form an outer surface of the lateral support portion. The surface cover includes multiple surface cover pieces interfaced with each other to form the surface cover and a strip-shaped body that extends out of the interface between the surface cover pieces in a reverse side portion of the surface cover. In a state where the surface cover covers the base member, the strip-shaped body is pulled toward a side of the base member opposite to that on which the interface is positioned with respect to the base member.
