Multi-height rotatable vehicle console
A vehicle console has a rotatable portion with opposite sides that are different distances from a rotational axis. Rotation by 180 degrees from a first position to a second position changes the vertical position of a beam portion of the console. One side can have a particular look or functionality, and the opposite side can have a different look or functionality thereby giving users more choices while occupying the vehicle cabin.
Motor-vehicle accessory
The invention relates to an accessory, with a base (11) and an adjustment part (12), movable in translation and/or in rotation relative to the base, that is movable along a path between a first end position and a second end position and can be locked in at least one position with a locking device (13) with first locking formations that are associated with the adjustment part (12) and second locking formations that are associated with the base (11), with a control system with a first controller associated with the adjustment part (12) and a second controller associated with the base (11), with which controller the locking device (13) is adjustable between a catch position and a release position depending on the position of the adjustment part (12). The special feature consists in that the one set of controller comprises a first switching element (21) on a first end region of the path and a second switching element (22) on a second end region, wherein a movable setting device (37) of the other set of controller can be actuated by of the switching element (21, 22) in such a way that locking formations that are in an operative connection with the setting device (37) are movable between a catch position and a release position.
ARMREST DEVICE
Armrest device, in particular for commercial vehicle seats, having a guide rail system for guiding a displacement movement of a first rail relative to a second rail which can be connected to the armrest device, in a displacement direction, wherein the displacement movement of the first rail can be arrested by the engagement of a locking element of a locking device in at least one recess in the first rail, wherein the locking device is rigidly connected to the armrest device by a first end and can be deflected in a height direction by a second end, the locking element engaging in the recess in a non-deflected position of the locking device.
VEHICLE INTERIOR COMPONENT
An adjustable vehicle armrest and tambour door is disclosed. A vehicle armrest is designed to allow for sliding movement between a retracted position and an extended position to adjust armrest length as desired by the vehicle occupant. A tambour door is disposed over at least part of the armrest and may be moved forward and backward to allow access to storage within the armrest or a support structure. The armrest is supported by sliding structures (e.g. engaged rails, et.) and the tambour door is supported by tracks (fixed or stationary). The tambour door may be fully supported as it moves forward and backward regardless of the retracted position or extended position of the armrest.
SLIDING MECHANISM FOR A VEHICLE FLOOR CONSOLE AND A FLOOR CONSOLE SLIDING ARMREST ASSEMBLY
A sliding mechanism for a vehicle floor console is disclosed. The sliding mechanism comprises a base portion including a panel and a sliding groove, the sliding groove being positioned at the end of the panel and having an opening, and a guide portion including a guide rail disposed in the sliding groove and being slidable in the sliding groove. The sliding groove includes first and second surfaces positioned along the first direction, having angles with the first direction, connected to each other and enclosing a first sliding portion of the guide rail.
Sliding Seating Unit Panel for Providing Enhanced Passenger Ingress and Egress
In an illustrative embodiment, a seating apparatus for positioning at an aisle of an aircraft cabin includes a passenger seat and an armrest assembly mounted adjacent to the passenger seat. The armrest assembly includes a fixed panel adjacent to a seat back that extends along a portion of a seat bottom and a sliding portion that extends from a retracted position where a majority of the sliding panel is parallel to the fixed plane to an extended position where a rear end of the sliding panel is adjacent to a forward end of the fixed panel. A translation assembly slidably connects the sliding panel to the fixed panel to enable the sliding panel to move between the retracted and extended positions. In the extended position, an armrest portion of the fixed panel is flush with an armrest portion of the sliding portion to create an extended panel unit.
Armrest Assembly for Vehicle and Door Assembly Having Slidable Armrest for Vehicle
A door assembly includes a door panel including a metallic plate material, a lower trim attached to the door panel, and an armrest installed on top of the lower trim and configured to be slidable in a longitudinal direction of a vehicle. The door assembly further includes a base fixedly installed on the top of the lower trim, a slider positioned on top of the base, wherein the armrest is coupled to a top of the slider, and a guide fixedly installed on the base and configured to penetrate the slider.
OCCUPANT PROTECTION APPARATUS
An occupant protection apparatus includes: a vehicle seat arranged in an inner space of a side wall of a vehicle; a side airbag device provided in the side wall or the vehicle seat and including a side airbag to be inflated and deployed between the side wall and the vehicle seat. The vehicle seat includes: a pressure-receiving portion to receive a load from an occupant seated on the vehicle seat; and a frame to support the pressure-receiving portion. The occupant protection apparatus further comprising an electronic control circuit configured to perform moving the pressure-receiving portion so that the occupant is pushed away from the side wall before the occupant comes into contact with the side airbag at an activation time when the side airbag device is activated by an impact acting on the side wall from an outside of the vehicle and the side airbag is inflated and deployed.
VEHICLE SEAT AND ARMREST ASSEMBLY WITH FREE PLAY MINIMIZATION MECHANISM
A seat and armrest assembly includes a seat including a frame having a movable element that is supported on the frame in a position. An armrest is supported on the frame and is movable relative to the seat between a first position and a second position. The armrest includes a locking pin that is disposed adjacent to the movable element of the frame to retain the armrest in the first position. A free play adjustment mechanism is provided to adjust the position of the movable element relative to the frame to minimize or eliminate space between the movable element and the locking pin. The free play adjustment mechanism includes an adjustment actuator having a threaded outer surface that cooperates with a correspondingly threaded inner surface of an aperture extending through the frame.
