Resettable armrest bracket, armrest mounting system and method of mitigating injury in event of a side impact
An armrest mounting system includes an armrest having at least one projecting mount, a door inner including an inner margin defining an armrest accommodation feature and at least one resettable armrest bracket carried on the door inner and engaging the at least one projecting mount extending through the armrest accommodation feature. A related method of mitigating an injury in the event of a side impact is also disclosed.
ARMREST MODULE FOR AUTOMOBILE SEAT
An armrest module for an automobile seat intended for attachment to the automobile seat. The armrest module includes an armrest arm intended for supporting the arm of the occupant of the automobile seat, and a device for adjusting the height and attitude of the armrest arm.
Shared armrest
A shared armrest includes two armrest members which are each configured for supporting a person's arm. The shared armrest is configured so that at least one of the armrest members is displaceable between an undivided condition and a split condition. In the undivided condition the armrest members are substantially together. In the split condition the armrest members diverge relative to each other with respective distal ends of the armrest members spaced apart from each other.
ARMREST STRUCTURE
An armrest structure easily adjustable in position with one hand includes an armrest portion attached to a fixed frame to be swingable horizontally, and the armrest portion includes a button member disposed to be push-operable, at a front end of the armrest portion, and an urging member configured to urge the button member. The fixed frame and the button member regulate swing of the armrest portion by causing a pin provided on one of the fixed frame and the button member to engage with an engagement groove provided on the other of the fixed frame and the button member. The urging member urges the button member in a direction in which the pin and the engagement groove engage with each other. When the button member is pushed in against urging force of the urging member, the pin disengages from the engagement groove to enable the armrest portion to swing.
Armrest Device
Provided is an armrest device that can be positioned in an appropriate position suitable for the build of the vehicle occupant. The armrest device (10) comprises an interior member (1) provided on an inboard side of a vehicle door, and an armrest main body (9) supported by the interior member so as to be moveable between an initial position and a projecting position more inboard and forward than the initial position.
MOVABLE ARMREST ASSEMBLY
A movable armrest provides the movement and rotation of the armrest in various directions during the manipulation of the joystick by an operator. The movable armrest includes: an armrest configured to support operator's arm during the manipulation of a joystick; a housing configured to accommodate the armrest; four helical springs configured to connect between the armrest and the housing; and one or more ball transfer units configured to reduce a friction between the armrest and the housing to function to provide a smooth movement of the armrest. The armrest can move in parallel with the ground surface or rotate about an axis perpendicular to the around surface on the housing in response to a change in the position of the operator's arm. When the operator puts away his or her arm from the armrest, the armrest can return to a default position where the tensions of the helical springs form a balance by means of the helical springs.
ARMREST
An occupant support system includes a vehicle seat and an arm support. The vehicle seat supports an occupant in a vehicle while the vehicle is moving. The arm support supports the occupant's arm.
Armrest and seat arrangement comprising the same
An armrest for arrangement between two seats, especially two passenger seats of a vehicle such as an aircraft is provided, having at least one first support portion for an arm of a first person and at least one second support portion for an arm of a second person wherein the first and second support portions provide different height levels.
Seat for a driver of a construction machine
In a seat (1) for a driver of a construction machine, in particular for a road roller, featuring a seat surface (2), a seat backrest (4) which feature a vertical central plane (26) in longitudinal direction, and featuring no less than one armrest (10) attached in an adjustable basic position by means of an armrest support (8), where the armrest (10) extends from the seat backrest (4) next to the seat surface (2) towards the front, it is provided for the following features to be achieved: a seat console (6) carries, as a minimum, the seat surface (2) and the seat backrest (4), and the armrest support (8) features no less than one each first adjustable connection unit (12) to the armrest (10) and one each second adjustable connection unit (14) to the seat console (6).
