An armrest assembly mounted on a console of a vehicle may include a console main body provided with a storage box in which a space is formed and installed between a driver seat and a passenger seat of a vehicle, an armrest pivotably installed in the storage box and configured to support an arm of a passenger in the vehicle and open and close an upper portion of the storage box, a button member installed in the console main body and configured to be operated by the passenger to unlock the armrest, an operating unit configured to lock or unlock the armrest from the console main body according to whether the button member is operated, and a console cover configured to cover a portion in which the button member and the operating unit are installed in the console main body and expose an upper end of the button member.

A stowable user interface system includes an armrest. The stowable user interface system includes a steering wheel support arm supported by the armrest and movable between an extended position outside the armrest and a retracted position inside the armrest. The stowable user interface system permits an operator of a vehicle to control a steering system of the vehicle when the steering wheel support arm in the extended position. The stowable user interface system stows the steering wheel support arm in the retracted position.

The vehicle structure includes seats provided away from each other in a vehicle width direction, a support provided on a vehicle floor, and attached between the seats, a vehicle structural part provided between the seats, and an armrest detachably attached to the support.

A console support device comprises a first bracket including a placement portion on which a console box is placed; and a second bracket fixed to the first bracket. The second bracket includes a joint portion joined to a lower surface of the placement portion, an inclined portion provided to obliquely bend downward from a rear end of the joint portion, and a base portion provided to bend from a lower end of the inclined portion. A cantilever region which is supported on the joint portion in a cantilever manner is provided on a rear end side of the placement portion. A connection part between the joint portion and the inclined portion forms a first bend portion. A connection part between the inclined portion and the base portion forms a second bend portion.

A half-movable console for a vehicle is provided. The half-movable console includes a base console fixedly mounted to a floor panel, a moving console coupled to a top of the base console such that the moving console is slidable in forward and rearward directions, and a protector disposed at a front side of the moving console while being mounted to the base console such that the protector is movable in the forward and rearward directions while being adjustable in tilting angle. In accordance with this configuration, the half-movable console is usable for various purposes within a limited passenger compartment in the vehicle.

A vehicle armrest that is provided at a seat transverse direction end portion of a vehicle seat and that extends in a seat front-rear direction, the vehicle armrest including: a front-side supporting portion that is provided at a seat front-side end portion, and that is configured to support a wrist end portion of a forearm of a vehicle occupant; a rear-side supporting portion that is provided at a seat rear-side end portion, and that is configured to support an elbow end portion of the forearm; and a terminal accommodating portion that is provided between the front-side supporting portion and the rear-side supporting portion, a seat upper side of the terminal accommodating portion being open, and the terminal accommodating portion being positioned at a seat lower side of the forearm that is placed on the vehicle armrest, and the terminal accommodating portion being able to accommodate a portable terminal.

An armrest of a seat for a vehicle includes a first armrest that is movable between a storage position where the first armrest constitutes a part of a seating surface of a seat back and a use position where the first armrest abuts against and is supported on a seating surface of a seat cushion, a rear end portion of the first armrest in the use position being connected to a lower portion of the seat back to be rotatable forward and backward about a first rotation axis extending in a lateral direction of the seat, and a second armrest that is connected to the first armrest to be interlocked with the first armrest, is close to a rear side of the first armrest in the storage position, and is separated upward from the first armrest in the use position.

The invention relates to a passenger compartment (20) of a vehicle (10) comprising at least one seat (14, 15, 16, 17) and comprising a console (18) that can be placed laterally adjacent the seat. The particularity is that at least one seat (14, 15) is designed to be adjustable such that it can be moved out of a first position in which it faces in the travel direction, and into a second position, and that at least part of the console (18) is mounted so as to be movable out of a primary position in which it is laterally adjacent the seat, into a secondary position in which it is outside the movement path of the seat during movement of the seat between the first position and the second position.

Arm support (12) for an armrest (10), comprising a frame (19) that comprises connectors for the fixed or moveable attachment to a structure, in particular to a structure of a vehicle, wherein the frame comprises longitudinal bars (23, 24) and cross bars (21, 22) that are connected to one another with connectors (25, 26, 27, 28). The particularity is that at least a first type of connector is provided that is connectable with at least one longitudinal bar (23, 24) selected from a set of longitudinal bars of different length, and/or with at least one cross bar (21, 22) selected from a set of cross bars of different length.

An automotive rear console includes a rear console body fixed to a bracket provided on a floor between a driver's seat and a passenger seat inside a cabin of an automobile, wherein: the rear console body has a rectangular shape having a bottom portion; the rear console body includes fragile portions provided in a rear side of the bottom portion in a vehicle front-rear direction, in one side of the bottom portion in a vehicle width direction, and in the other side of the bottom portion in the vehicle width direction; and the fragile portions are configured to be broken when impact load is applied from above the rear console body.
