VEHICLE WITH SEAT AND DEPLOYABLE WORKING SURFACE
A deployable working surface is provided for use in a reconfigurable passenger cabin of a personal automotive vehicle. The vehicle includes a first seat that can rotate to an inwardly-rotated position. The working surface is provided by a panel that is mounted on a second seat for movement between a stowed position and a working position. This movement includes vertical movement and rotational movement about a vertical axis. When the panel is in the working position, the working surface extends in a radial direction that is perpendicular to the direction the first seat is facing when in the rotated position and is positioned higher that an occupant seating surface of the first seat and in front of a backrest of the first seat.

The cup holder includes an armrest including an open storage space defined in one side portion thereof, a support plate mounted on the bottom of the storage space, a cup holding unit mounted in the storage space and on the support plate so as to be deployed and stored and including a plurality of holding links foldably and unfoldably connected to each other so as to support a peripheral portion of a cup, and a cup support unit mounted in the storage space and on the support plate so as to be deployed and stored and including a plurality of support links foldably and unfoldably connected to each other so as to support a lower surface of the cup.

An armrest may include an armrest module, a sliding knob to be rotated by a manipulating force provided thereon, a hook knob facilitating rotation of the sliding knob to be converted into rotation for releasing console locking force for binding the armrest module, and a multi-link at which sloping angle rotation is generated by the rotation of the sliding knob and then converted into rotation for releasing slide locking force for binding sliding movement of the armrest module.
Vehicle interior component
A vehicle interior component providing a support structure such as an adjustable vehicle armrest may be configured to allow for sliding movement between a retracted position and an extended position to adjust armrest length as desired by the vehicle occupant. A cover such as a tambour door may be provided over at least part of the support structure/armrest and may be opened and closed to allow access to storage within the armrest/support structure. The armrest may be supported by structure such as rails (e.g. sliding/translating rails); a set of tracks may be provided to facilitate movement and provide support for the cover (e.g. tambour door) as the armrest is moved between the retracted position and extended position.

Disclosed herein is a hinge unit of a console armrest for a vehicle, which includes an upper bracket including an armrest installation part coupled to an armrest, and upper hinge parts formed at both sides of the armrest installation part, each having a first upper hinge hole, a lower bracket including a console installation part coupled to a console, and lower hinge parts formed at both sides of the console installation part, each having a first lower hinge hole, an upper bracket cover configured to surround at least a portion of each of the upper hinge parts and to have a second upper hinge hole formed at a position corresponding to the first upper hinge hole, and a lower bracket cover configured to surround at least a portion of each of the lower hinge parts and to have a second lower hinge hole.
RETRACTABLE TABLE
A retractable table assembly (5) for an automobile has a housing (6) located between the rear seats (2,3). Two tabletops (17a, 17b) are stowed in the housing and deployed on rotatable arms (12a, 12b). The arms are resiliently biased to the deployment position and when stowed, the tabletops are kept in place by push-push latches. A secondary link (16) between the tabletops and the pivot-point of the arms is provided, which maintains the relative disposition of the tabletop in relation to the housing during deployment. The tabletops can be deployed side-by-side so as to provide an expanded surface for working on.
