Armrest of vehicle seat

An armrest of a seat for a vehicle includes a first armrest that is movable between a storage position where the first armrest constitutes a part of a seating surface of a seat back and a use position where the first armrest abuts against and is supported on a seating surface of a seat cushion, a rear end portion of the first armrest in the use position being connected to a lower portion of the seat back to be rotatable forward and backward about a first rotation axis extending in a lateral direction of the seat, and a second armrest that is connected to the first armrest to be interlocked with the first armrest, is close to a rear side of the first armrest in the storage position, and is separated upward from the first armrest in the use position.

ARMREST INERTIAL LATCH HAVING ANTI-REVERSE LOCK FOR ABSORBING DYNAMIC OSCILLATION DURING VEHICLE IMPACT

A vehicle seat assembly includes a seatback rotationally coupled to a base at a seat pivot. A securing pin is coupled with the seatback. An inertial latch is operable about a latch pivot to define an idle position defined by the inertial latch biased distal from the securing pin, and a deployed position defined by an opposing directional force biasing the inertial latch into selective engagement with the securing pin wherein the seatback is maintained in a predetermined rotational position. A guide latch is biased against the inertial latch and having an idle notch and a deployed notch. The idle notch selectively maintains the inertial latch in the idle position. The deployed notch secures the inertial latch in the deployed position in response to the opposing directional biasing force.

Vehicle seat console

A vehicle seat console has at least one vehicle-side guide element and at least one seat-side guide element which is arranged parallel to the vehicle-side guide element. The vehicle seat console also has at least one longitudinal adjustment device which is acted upon by a drive device and is designed to produce a relative adjustment between the vehicle-side guide element and the seat-side guide element. A force-limiting device with a force-limiting element is provided between the longitudinal adjustment device and the vehicle-side guide element and/or between the longitudinal adjustment device and the seat-side guide element. The force-limiting element has a first deformation section which deforms under the effect of a force acting thereon above a specified force threshold. The force-limiting element has a second deformation section which is guided by a deflecting assembly.

MULTI-FUNCTIONAL CENTER CONSOLE
