The communication apparatus estimates the position of the mobile terminal inside the vehicle based on information obtained through communication with the mobile terminal, and specifies the seat closest to the estimated position among the plurality of seats. The communication apparatus acquires adjustment data needed for adjusting the specified seat from the mobile terminal.

A seat system for a vehicle includes a seat and a frame structure connected to a vehicle structure. The seat is pivotably arranged relative to the frame around a pivot axis and pivots between first and second seating positions. The seat includes first and second seat parts connected to each other. In the first position, the first seat part forms a backrest and the second seat part forms a seat platform. In the second position, the first seat part forms a seat platform and the second seat part forms a backrest. The seat includes an integrated first seatbelt system in connection to the first seat part, where the first seatbelt system is worn by a user in the first position. The vehicle seat includes an integrated second seatbelt system in connection to the second seat part, where the second seatbelt system is worn by a user in the second position.

The seat adjuster includes one or more motors and is connected to the seat to adjust the seat to a first seat position and to a second seat position via adjusting the seatback, the calf rest, and the headrest about a plurality of pivot axes.
