Adjustment device for a headrest of a vehicle seat
An adjusting apparatus for adjusting a vehicle seat component of a vehicle seat comprises an adjustment arrangement for adjusting the vehicle seat component and a locking device. The locking device is coupled to the adjustment arrangement to block movement of the vehicle seat component in a locking position.
Vehicle seat and head rest for a vehicle seat
The present invention relates to a head rest arrangement for a vehicle seat and a vehicle seat comprising such head rest. The head rest arrangement comprises a cushion portion and a back portion. The head rest arrangement further comprises a displacement arrangement enabling at least the cushion portion to be displaced between at least a first position and a second position with respect to the vehicle seat after being mounted thereto. The displacement arrangement comprising a lock mechanism adapted to lock the cushion portion in the first position and the second position. The displacement arrangement comprises an actuator operable by a user to unlock the lock mechanism. The actuator is made from a compliant material and actuated via a pulling force in a first direction.

HEADREST
A headrest has a mount fixable on a vehicle seat, a head support, first and second links each having one end pivoted on the mount and an opposite end pivoted on the head support for movement of the head support relative to the mount forward toward a head of a user in the seat and rearward away from the head of the user. First latch formations on the links and second latch formations fittable with the first latch formations and either on the head support or on the mount are movable between a latching position engaged with each other to arrest pivoting of the links and forward and rearward movement of the headrest relative to the mount, and a release position disengaging the first and second latch formations from each other to permit such pivoting and movement.

Vehicle seat with headrest support covers
A vehicle seat for supporting an occupant in the seated position in a vehicle may include a seat module including a base and a backrest projecting upwardly from the base. The vehicle seat further includes a headrest coupled to the backrest. There may be relative movement between the headrest and backrest.

HEADREST ASSEMBLY
A headrest assembly according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a rod configured to connect the headrest assembly to a seat back. The rod includes a first vertical portion and a second vertical portion, which each have a plurality of recesses. The headrest assembly further includes a head restraint including a pushing plate having a first locking portion and a second locking portion. The first and second locking portions selectively engage the recesses of the first and second vertical portions, respectively, to adjust a vertical position of the head restraint.
Reduced-impact-and-recoil headrest
A reduced-impact-and-recoil headrest that includes a ratchet mechanism, allowing components to incrementally translate with respect to each other. The reduced-impact-and-recoil headrest includes an exterior housing surface that is deformable, providing cushioning for a vehicle occupant's head. The headrest also includes an interior compartment within the housing, with the ratchet mechanism disposed within the interior compartment. The headrest is configured to decrease the force of a collision experienced by the occupant, thereby decreasing the likelihood and severity of traumatic brain injuries resulting from the occupant's head striking a stationary headrest. Instead, the reduced-impact-and-recoil headrest is configured to incrementally move with the occupant's head, providing an incremental cushion for the occupant's head. The ratchet mechanism also prevents the reduced-impact-and-recoil headrest from automatically translating back to its pre-impact position, thereby decreasing the occupant's risk of ligament tear and whiplash.
