VEHICLE SEAT
Vehicle seat having a backrest consisting of a backrest lower part and a backrest upper part, which is displaceable with respect to the backrest lower part, wherein the vehicle seat is connected to a rotary adjustment device for rotating the vehicle seat, and wherein the rotary adjustment device comprises a locking device for locking the rotary adjustment device, the backrest upper part and the locking device being connected to each other, such that upon a displacement of the backrest upper part relative to the backrest lower part from a non-displaced position into a displaced position, the locking of the rotary adjusting device may be released.
Seat for vehicle
A vehicle seat is provided in which a seat back is constrained from tilting down when a seat cushion is moved to a position in which the seat back cannot be tilted down. The vehicle seat includes a base frame, a seat cushion frame (3) horizontally movable relative to the base frame between a first position and a second position different from the first position, a seat back frame (4) rotatable relative to the seat cushion frame (3), a lock member (5) configured to constrain the seat back frame (4) from tilting rearward, and an unlock mechanism (6) configured to release a lock applied by the lock member (5) when the seat cushion frame (3) is moved from the first position to the second position.
POSITION-VARIABLE SEAT BACK HINGE STIFFNESSS FOR BELT-INTEGRATION SEATS
The disclosure provides for a system that includes a seat mounted in a vehicle. The seat includes a base, a back support, a hinge, and a seat belt integrated into the seat. The back support is capable of rotating relative to the base and thereby reclining. The hinge is between the base and the back support and is configured to lock the back support in positions in relation to the base. The seat belt has a shoulder portion and a lap portion and is attached to the seat at a shoulder anchor in the back support and a base anchor in the base. When a generated torque, created from a forward force applied by the shoulder portion of the seat belt, exceeds a threshold amount of torque, the hinge is configured to unlock and back support is configured to rotate forward from a reclined position towards an upright position.
Mechanical seat position detection
A seat position detection apparatus for a vehicle seat which is guided using a seat rail in a floor rail of the vehicle. The seat position detection apparatus has a lock for the longitudinal setting of the seat rail and the floor rail in relation to one another, and a mechanical memory device that has a position determination unit and a position detection unit, which may be started symmetrically from both directions of the longitudinal adjustment of the vehicle seat to define a vehicle seat position.
System for folding seats in a vehicle
A system for changing rear seat positions in a vehicle between deployed and folded configurations. The system comprises means to effect the steps of initiating a movement of the rear seating and, after initiation, moving the front seat so that collision between the seating is avoided. The front seat is returned to its previous position, or as near as possible thereto, afterwards. The system includes means to detect the position of the seating and to calculate whether a collision will occur, and automatically to effect the requisite movements of the front seating to avoid the collision.
Conveyance seat
A conveyance seat includes: a seat base; a support portion which supports the occupant from the back side; a flip-up mechanism which flips up the seat base; a biasing member which biases the support portion forward; an engagement portion which is engaged with the support portion to hold the support portion in a upright state against the biasing force; a cancel mechanism which cancels the engagement between the engagement portion and the support portion; and a return mechanism which returns the support portion from a state where the engagement with the engagement portion is canceled by the cancel mechanism to a state where the support portion is engageable with the engagement portion. The return mechanism performs the return operation in accordance with the inclination angle of the support portion inclined forward by the biasing member after the engagement between the engagement portion and the support portion is canceled.
Apparatus for changing positions of seat for vehicles
An apparatus for changing positions of a seat for vehicles includes mechanisms for adjusting the height of the seat for vehicles, adjusting reclining of the seat for vehicles, changing the seat for vehicles into a knee rest posture and changing the seat for vehicles into a relaxed comfort are integrated into one structure. Accordingly, a user selectively implements adjustment of the height of the seat for vehicles, adjustment of reclining of the seat for vehicles, change into the knee rest posture, and change into the relaxed comfort posture, etc., through operation of the switch.
Adjustable seat
An adjustable vehicle seat configured to support an occupant in a vehicle may include a seat cushion portion, a seat back portion including a backrest movable relative to the seat cushion portion, and a contour linkage linked to the seat cushion portion and the backrest. The contour linkage may be configured to impose force on the backrest upon movement of the seat cushion portion relative to the backrest in at least one of a fore/aft, vertical, and rotational direction. The backrest may be configured such that a backrest contour is altered based on force imposed by the contour linkage in response to movement of the seat cushion portion relative to the backrest. The backrest contour may include at least one of a contour angle of an occupant-side surface of the backrest, a maximum offset of the occupant-side surface, and vertical height of a contour apex.
SEATBACK LIFT MECHANISM FOR A SUPINE MOTOR VEHICLE SEATING ASSEMBLY
A motor vehicle comprises an upper back support comprising a substantially U-shaped tubular member pivotally attached at a first end to one of a pair of opposed lateral seatback frame members and pivotally attached at a second end to the other of the pair of opposed lateral seatback frame members, a substantially rigid planar base attached to a central portion of the tubular member, a latch operably coupling the first end of the tubular member to the one of a pair of opposed lateral seatback members to restrain the tubular member in one of a plurality of positions between a stowed position and a fully raised position, and a cushion disposed above the upper back support to form a movable exposed surface.
