A cup holder is provided, in which a control portion calculates a container-housing-portion temperature gradient T based on a temperature T detected by a thermistor disposed inside a convex portion located on a bottom portion of a container housing portion. The control portion automatically carries out heating or cooling relative to the container housing portion based on that the container-housing-portion temperature gradient T is a heating reference temperature gradient or above, or is a cooling reference temperature gradient or below. Thus, determinations of the heating or cooling is carried out based on only the container-housing-portion temperature gradient T, so that heating or cooling control can be accurately carried out only by one temperature sensor.

Bottle holder

A securement system for portable bottles, intended for use in a vehicle, is disclosed and claimed herein. In one particular embodiment, the securement system is constructed from a vertical stanchion. Disposed about the periphery, on four sides, are four vertically oriented mounting channels. A top bottle holder and a bottom bottle holder are installed in a selected mounting channel. At least the top bottle holder can be adjusted vertically to accommodate bottles with various heights. The bottom bottle holder includes a platform for supporting the bottle, and both the top and bottom holder include a cradle that receives a side of the bottle. Both the top bottle holder and bottom bottle holder include releasable, hook and loop straps to hold the bottle flush and secure against the cradles. The base of the stanchion includes features for securing the stanchion in a convention L-Track, of the type typically found in transit vehicles.

The flexible well is displaceable between a rest position and cup holding position whereby the cup is squeezed by the flexible well and positively maintained in the well by a positive gripping force.

The lowest horizontal support restraint further comprises a stopper to prevent the canister from being disconnected from the body assembly when in use. The portable canister holder further comprises an IV holder configured to attach to the body assembly, the IV holder having a plurality of rods configured to support an IV bag.

Adjustable cupholder

An adjustable vehicle cupholder is provided. The adjustable cupholder may include a console including a recessed portion defining a cupholder and a track extending along a length of the console. The track preferably terminates at the cupholder. The vehicle cupholder may also include a spiraling fitting that has an elongated shape and extends from the track. The spiraling fitting may be configured to spiral from a first diameter to a second smaller diameter as the spiraling fitting moves along the track and within an inner periphery of the cupholder.

The invention relates to a storage compartment for a center console of a motor vehicle, having a partial cylinder shell-shaped compartment divider, which is movable on a circular path, in order to separate a storage region from the storage compartment in order to store a beverage container. For the purpose of supporting a stored beverage container in a tilt-free manner, the invention provides a spring-loaded support element on the compartment divider, the movement of which is synchronized with fixed support elements on a circumference of the storage region.
