Armrest assembly with in-arm cup holder
An armrest assembly and aircraft passenger seat including the same, the armrest assembly including an arm having a top cutout and a cup holder insert disposed within the top cutout and retained on the arm by front and rear arm caps affixed atop the arm that overlap portions of the installed cup holder insert, the cup holder insert including a recessed center portion at depth within the arm and disposed between upstanding concave end walls, the cup holder insert usable to secure a beverage or other items when the arm is in a deployed use position.
AUXILIARY CUP HOLDER AND CUP HOLDER ASSEMBLY FOR CAR
An auxiliary cup holder and a cup holder assembly are provided. The auxiliary cup holder includes a first cup body and a second cup body. The second cup body is connected to a top end of the first cup body. An inner diameter of the second cup body is greater than an outer diameter of the first cup body or an inner diameter of the second cup body is adjustable. The first cup body is adapted for being placed and fixed in a cup holding groove as provided originally in a car. The second cup body is configured for placing drinking containers.
Cup holder
A cup holder including a case for receiving a cup, having an opening and a bottom opposite to the opening; a rotational arm including a first arm member rotatably connected to the case, and a second arm member rotatably connected to the first arm member and having a retaining member for holding the cup; and a platform slidably arranged in the case to move between a first position in which the platform is positioned at the opening of the case, and a second position in which the platform is positioned at the bottom of the case, the platform an abutting portion extending downwardly therefrom to abut against the first arm member. When the platform moves from the first position to the second position, the abutting portion abuts against the first arm member to rotate the rotational arm toward the case and the retaining member is disposed inside the case.
Mechanism for holding at least one article
A mechanism for holding an article. The mechanism includes a rotatable member, at least two holding members and a sensor. The rotatable member is rotatably mounted below a base and controlled by a motor to rotate around a vertical rotation axis. The holding members are each mechanically linked by a connecting member to the rotatable member. The rotation of the rotatable member in a first direction moves the holding member from a rest position to a holding position and rotation of the rotatable member in a second direction moves the holding member to the rest position. The sensor is arranged on the base and adapted to sense the article in proximity. The sensor upon sensing the article rotates the rotatable member in the first direction to move the holding members to the holding position and rotates the rotatable member in the second direction upon removal the article from the base.
Storage compartment comprising a foldable holder element
A mechanism for holding an article in a storage compartment. The storage compartment is delimited by a first wall and a second wall and each of the first wall and the second wall is having a first recess and a second recess. The mechanism includes a holder element, a supporting element, a locking element and a handling member. The holder element is articulated in the first wall. The supporting element is pivotally configured on the holder element for supporting a bottom portion of the article in a holding position. The locking element engages a first recess to lock the holder element in a non-holding position and engages a second recess to lock the holder element in the holding position. The handling member is configured on the second member for unlocking the locking element from the first and second recesses to move the holder element between the holding and non-holding positions.
CUP HOLDER FOR VEHICLE
A cup holder for a vehicle that stably supports a cup stored in a hole of the cup holder regardless of the size of the cup and prevents the beverage from spilling out of the cup with the cup stored in the hole released from the hole or falling on a side. Such cup holder comprises a storage tray, a cup support installed rotatably in one or the other direction in a storage space formed in the storage tray, a flap link making a back-and-forth movement while compressing a link spring, and an auxiliary cup support having a lower end rotating around a hinge axis rotatably coupled to a flap housing and an upper portion drawn into or out of the storage space depending on the amount of the back-and-forth movement of the flap link.
Adjustable receptacle holder
An adjustable receptacle holder for securely supporting a receptacle within a vehicle comprises a telescopic base member and a cylindrical holding member. The telescopic base member is removably inserted into a cup holder of the vehicle. The telescopic base member is configured to vertically extend and retract to suitably position the cylindrical holding member. The cylindrical holding member is rotatably attached to the telescopic base member and comprises sidewalls and an opening. The opening is configured in the sidewall of the cylindrical holding member to accommodate a handle of the receptacle. The cylindrical holding member is divided into four sections, each section comprising a ribbed guide rail configured on the base of the cylindrical holding member for radial adjustments to secure receptacles of varied base dimensions. Further, release tabs are provided on an exterior surface of each of the four sections to release the secured receptacle.
VEHICLE HOLDING UNIT
A vehicle holding unit includes a cupholder and a holding member. The cupholder has a sidewall defining a cup receiving area. The holding member having a base movable between a stowed position and a deployed position. The base being mainly vertical in the stowed position. The base being mainly horizontal and extends into the cup receiving area in the deployed position.
Deployable neck support disposed within an interior of a headrest
A headrest comprising an external surface surrounding an interior and a deployable neck support including: a non-deployed position wherein the deployable neck support is disposed in the interior; and a deployed position wherein the deployable neck support extends out of the interior and is configured to support a neck of an occupant of a seating assembly incorporating the headrest. The headrest includes a housing disposed in the interior. In the non-deployed position, the deployable neck support is housed within the housing. In the deployed position, a primary neck support section of the deployable neck support extends out of the housing. The deployable neck support can further include an inboard lateral neck support and an outboard lateral neck support, each having an enclosed position and an extended position. In the enclosed position, the inboard lateral neck support and outboard lateral neck support are housed within the primary neck support section.
MOTOR VEHICLE
A motor vehicle including a holding device configured to retain objects. The holding device includes at least one holding unit having a base, and a holding structure that extends away from the base in a primary direction and that contains two flexurally elastic lateral jaws that extend, proceeding from the base in the primary direction, to a head region, and a plurality of rigid coupling stays that are articulated on both lateral jaws and are mutually spaced apart in the primary direction. At least one of the flexurally elastic lateral jaws forms a holding jaw for engaging on a respective one of the objects.
