Lift systems and methods for supporting cargo on a vehicle
A lift system for supporting cargo on a vehicle comprising a vehicle frame, the lift system comprises a cargo platform assembly and a displacement system. Operation of a drive system causes axial rotation of at least one drive axle. Axial rotation of at least one drive axle causes at least one drive link assembly to pivot about a drive axle axis. Pivoting of the at least one drive link assembly about the drive axle axis displaces the cargo platform between a stowed configuration and a lowered configuration. First and second distal axes are forward of the drive axle axis when the lift system is in the stowed configuration and rearward of the drive axle axis when the lift system is in the lowered configuration.
Article Transport Vehicle
An article transport vehicle (V) includes: a carriage body (1); and a transfer device (3) that is mounted on the carriage body (1) and is configured to transfer an article. The transfer device (3) includes an article support unit (32); a linking support unit (31) that links the article support unit (32) to the carriage body (1), and a drive unit (D). The linking support unit (31) includes a first shaft support portion (311) that is linked to the carriage body (1) so as to be swingable around a first shaft (A1), the article support unit (32) includes a second shaft support portion (321) that is linked to the linking support unit (31) so as to be swingable around a second shaft (A2), and the drive unit (D) includes a first drive unit (33D) and a second drive unit (34D).
Dump-truck fluid assistance system and method
A dump-truck fluid assistance system and method for prevention and remediation of material sticking to the truck bed and dampening generation of dust, at different stages of loading, transport, and dumping operations. Fluid is emitted from one or more outflow manifolds inside the bed of the dump truck for one or more purposes of lubricating the truck bed, regulating the temperature of the truck bed, physically flushing material from the truck bed, and dampening generation of airborne particles or dust. Under the control of a controller having a controller transceiver, directed via a cab operator transceiver or remote operator transceiver, a fluid pump sends fluid from a fluid reservoir via a fluid line into the outflow manifolds that emit the flow of fluid variously as spray, stream, jet, drip, or weep, into the bed of the dump truck.
Material collection and transfer cart
An apparatus includes a base frame, first and second bins, first and second hydraulic assemblies, and a computer controller. The first hydraulic assembly is configured to selectively raise and lower the first bin relative to the base frame. The second hydraulic assembly is configured to selectively raise and lower the second bin relative to the base frame. The first and second hydraulic assemblies are individually actuable, and their actuation is coordinated by the controller. In another aspect, a method for transferring product using an apparatus includes inputting to a computer controller a first threshold rate of change in weight signals of a weight sensor; relaying a plurality of weight signals from the weight sensor to the controller; calculating a determination by the controller at least in part on whether the threshold rate of change has been exceeded; and automating actuation of a hydraulic assembly based on the determination.
DUMP TRAILER AND SYSTEM FOR A SEMI-TRAILER TRUCK
A dump trailer and system for a semi-trailer truck are disclosed. The dump trailer and system includes a tub, a coupling plate configured to engage the dump trailer to the tractor, a first hydraulic cylinder hinge, and a second hydraulic cylinder that cooperate to improve manufacturing economics and/or dumping of a load carried by the dump trailer.
DUMP TRAILER AND SYSTEM FOR A SEMI-TRAILER TRUCK
A dump trailer and system for a semi-trailer truck are disclosed. The dump trailer and system includes a tub, a coupling plate configured to engage the dump trailer to the tractor, a first hydraulic cylinder hinge, a second hydraulic cylinder, and a draft arm attached to the coupling plate and the tub that cooperate to improve manufacturing economics and/or dumping of a load carried by the dump trailer.
Top-loading rear-dumping slide trailer
A transportable, top-loadable, and rear-unloadable slide trailer includes a frame, a secondary wheeled frame configured to translate relative to the frame between a forward position and a rearward position via a slideable assembly between the frame and the secondary wheeled frame, a bulk material carrier positionable in a load position and an unload position, and an unloader assembly coupled to the bulk material carrier and the frame. The trailer is loadable with the bulk material carrier in the load position. The trailer is transportable with the secondary wheeled frame in the rearward position and the bulk material carrier in the load position. The trailer is unloadable with the bulk material carrier in the unload position and the secondary wheeled frame in the forward position.
VEHICLE WITH LOAD RECEPTACLE
In a vehicle with a cargo receiving portion for transportation of cargo and for transfer of the cargo onto a cargo take-up station, the cargo receiving portion is disposed on a chassis with running gear coupled with a drive unit and a vehicle control unit is provided. The cargo receiving portion is linked tiltably around a tilting axle on the chassis and is open or openable at one delivery rim at least. The tilting axle and the delivery rim are disposed relative to one another so that, in tilted position, the cargo can be transferred via the delivery rim onto the cargo take-up station, wherein, for transfer of the cargo onto the cargo take-up station, the cargo receiving portion is tilted around the tilting axle by a change of the vector of velocity of the vehicle and/or by a torque generated by a spring loading of the cargo receiving portion.
ELECTRIC CABLE FOR REFUSE VEHICLE WITH SERVICE LIFT
A vehicle includes a chassis, a battery coupled to chassis, and a body pivotally coupled to the chassis by a pivot assembly and including a terminal electrically coupled to one or more electrical components of the body. The vehicle further includes an actuator coupled to the body and the chassis and configured to lift and pivot the body relative to the chassis and a battery cable electrically coupling the battery to the terminal. The battery cable is configured to flex at a first angle when the body is in a first position supported by the chassis and configured to flex at a second angle when the body is in a second position lifted above the chassis.
SAFETY DEVICE FOR A TIPPER TRUCK, ASSOCIATED TIPPER TRUCK AND CONTROL METHOD
This safety device for a tipper truck comprises proximity sensors and is configured to switch to a triggered state when a foreign body is detected within a predetermined distance around the tipper truck by at least one of the proximity sensors. The tipper truck comprises a bucket and a lifting device, which is powered by a power source and which is configured to move the bucket between a lowered position and a raised position. For improved safety, the safety device comprises cut-off means configured to cut-off the lifting device from the power source when the bucket is in the lowered position and when the safety device is in the triggered state.
