Lift installation having a compensating device, so that a first roller is largely relieved of loading when the lift car is at rest
The disclosure relates to a lift installation having a lift car which can be moved along a guide rail. The lift installation here comprises at least a first pair of rollers and a second pair of rollers. The guide rail runs between the two rollers of the first pair of rollers and between the two rollers of the second pair of rollers. The lift installation also has an apparatus for subjecting the lift car to a retaining force, wherein there is a horizontal offset between the point at which the retaining force takes effect and the center of gravity of the lift car, and therefore the lift car is subjected to a first torque.
Locking arm system for a retention ramp of a lift gate
The present invention provides a locking assembly for a ramp of a lift gate. The locking assembly comprises an elongated locking arm and a spring for spring loading the locking arm. The locking arm is pivotably disposed on a pivot point relative to the ramp. A biasing tension in the spring urges a proximal end of the locking arm to engage with a cam portion of the ramp to maintain the ramp in a selected position. The cam portion has multiple engagement surfaces for individually engaging with the locking arm, wherein selectively engaging the locking arm with each engagement surface of the cam portion maintains the ramp in a corresponding selected position.
Vehicle with integrated platform
A low speed vehicle is capable of transporting a mobility scooter on a platform that is attached to the vehicle and capable of pivoting between use and stowed positions. The platform can be secured in the stowed position. The platform can be raised and lowered with an actuator having a limit switch interlocked with the vehicle's propulsion system to prevent vehicle movement unless the platform is raised. The actuator is affixed to the vehicle's frame in at least two places, with an aft attachment adjacent the rear bumper and a fore attachment adjacent the rear axle. The platform also includes brake lights that illuminate orthogonally with at least one brake light facing rearward in the use or stowed position of the platform.
Utilizing a liftgate assembly that hardware mounts to a vehicle body
Techniques are directed to utilizing a liftgate assembly having a platform, a lift subsystem constructed and arranged to selectively raise and lower the platform, and a set of steel beams coupled with the lift subsystem. The set of steel beams is constructed and arranged to hardware mount to a set of aluminum beams of a vehicle. Although the sets of beams are made of different materials, the liftgate assembly and the vehicle body may be securely fastened to each other making the vehicle well suited for a variety of conditions.
Trailer for hauling unit load devices
A trailer for carrying unit load devices (ULDs), including unloaded and/or loaded containers and pallets, or other cargo; the trailer designed to be towed on surface streets and highways by conventional motorized truck-tractor units. The trailers are equipped with adjustable decks for supporting ULDs in stacked configuration on the trailer. Using a lowered well portion permits selected ULD stacks to not exceed legal trailer height limits so that additional permitting is not required.
Liftgate having a side-loadable load platform
A liftgate for loading and unloading cargo from a vehicle. The liftgate includes a moveable load platform having a proximal deck section and a distal deck section pivotally coupled to the proximal deck section. A side ramp is pivotally coupled to the distal deck section to facilitate unobstructed side loading and unloading of the distal deck section of the load platform.
Vehicle-attached lifting and tool support device
A vehicle-attached lifting device and tool support is provided. The device comprises a dual-rail frame supported in an upright configuration by the vehicle tow hitch, wherein an internal subassembly support frame is positioned between the rails for the purposes of supporting different lifting and tool support subassemblies. Along the sides of the upright frame is a pair of ground support members that extend downward towards the ground to support the frame during operation, preventing the load from compressing the vehicle suspension or damaging the same. A winch controls the vertical positioning of the support frame within the dual-rail frame, which controls the position of a lifting or tool support subassembly. Many subassemblies are contemplated for use with the present invention for the purposes of assisting a user without requiring manual input therefrom. The device can also adjust with relation to the vehicle using different trailer hitch attachments.
Commercial vehicle loading and unloading systems and associated systems, devices, and methods
The present disclosure is directed to commercial vehicle loading and unloading systems, and associated systems, devices, and methods. In one embodiment, a cargo loading and unloading system includes a cargo loading and unloading assembly and/or a cargo repositioning system. The assembly includes a first mechanical arm and a second mechanical arm that are mountable at opposite sides of an opening of the trailer. Each mechanical arm includes a first portion and a second portion pivotally coupled to the first portion. The first portions are configured to vertically raise and lower the second portions and move the second portions laterally along the opening of the trailer. The second portions include rollers and are configured to support cargo on the rollers as the mechanical arms are used to hold the cargo off the ground, and to selectively convey the cargo at least partially into or out of the trailer via the rollers.
Mobile object
An embodiment mobile object includes a frame part having an internal space, a wheel part coupled to a first side of the frame part and comprising a wheel, movable modules coupled to a second side of the frame part and configured to be movable in a vertical direction relative to the frame part, and a door module coupled to a first side of the movable modules, the door part being rotatable relative to the movable modules in a direction toward the internal space or a direction away from the internal space.
Vehicle lift for mobility device
A vehicle lift includes a lift base, a movable lift tower, and a movable platform. A first rail is configured to move the lift tower horizontally, and includes a outer extruded rails secured to the lift base, central extruded rails movable with respect to the outer extruded rails, and inner extruded rails movable with respect to the central extruded rails and fixed to the lift tower. A second rail assembly is fixed to the lift tower and may move the platform vertically with respect to the lift tower, and includes a outer extruded rails secured to the lift tower, central extruded rails movable with respect to the outer extruded rails, and inner extruded rails movable with respect to the central extruded rails and fixed to the lift tower.
