LOGISTICS SYSTEM
The invention relates to a logistics system having a large vehicle, a small vehicle and a container. According to the invention, in order to allow containers to be used on different vehicles in an improved manner, the container can be received, with a long side oriented along a transverse direction of the large vehicle, on said large vehicle and, interacting with same via a first movement arrangement, can be moved along a longitudinal direction of the large vehicle, said container can furthermore be received, with the long side oriented along a longitudinal direction of the small vehicle, on said small vehicle and, interacting with same via a second movement arrangement, can be moved along the longitudinal direction of the small vehicle, and said container has multiple legs which, in order for the container to be received on a vehicle, are adjustable from a deployed position into a retracted position.
ROLL OFF TRAILER FRAME AND TWO TROLLEY ASSEMBLIES
A roll off trailer includes first and second trolley assemblies and a hoisting cable connected at one end to the first trolley assemble and extending about a sheave in each of the first and second trolley assemblies. The cable connects to a container. The second trolley is displaced t in a first direction while simultaneously drawing the container via the cable from the first grounded container to a second container position generally midway atop the trailer. Then, the first trolley is displaced in a second direction while simultaneously drawing the container via the cable from the second container position to a third container position generally adjacent the front of the trailer.
Heated drill cuttings transport vessel
A transport vessel and method specifically adapted for safely and efficiently transporting and removing liquid containing unstabilized drill cuttings. Typically drilling waste is stabilized using binding agents like fly-ash, liquids absorbing pellets or sawdust. In many jurisdictions binding agents are required to stabilize the drilling waste prior to transport. A sealed transport vessel is described herein which is specifically sized and positioned over a set of axels so as to provide for safe, non-spilling transport. In addition, the bottom section of the vessel additionally contains one or more heating elements capable of raising the temperature of the drill cuttings at or near the bottom section of the container to a free flowing state for easy removal, even in cold/adverse weather conditions.
Roll off trailer frame and two trolley assemblies
A roll off trailer includes first and second trolley assemblies and a hoisting cable connected at one end to the first trolley assemble and extending about a sheave in each of the first and second trolley assemblies. The cable connects to a container. The second trolley is displaced in a first direction while simultaneously drawing the container via the cable from the first grounded container position to a second container position generally midway atop the trailer. Then, the first trolley is displaced in a second direction while simultaneously drawing the container via the cable from the second container position to a third container position generally adjacent the front of the trailer.
Rollback dump truck
A rollback dump truck having a chassis, a support frame, a bed frame, and a latching extension. The chassis further having at least one rear axle laterally extending between two sides and a pivotal axis parallel and rearward thereof. The subframe assembly is positioned above and supported by the chassis and is operatively connected thereto at a hinge point aligned with the pivotal axis. The subframe assembly may pivot about the hinge point away from the chassis to positions that include a dump position and a load position. Additionally, the bed frame may slide relative to the support frame in the load position while the load angle is held constant by the latching extension.
TILT TRUCK AND RELATED METHOD OF TRANSPORTING TANK
The present invention is a tilt truck and related method of transporting a vertical tank utilizing the tilt truck. The tilt truck includes a tractor truck with a tilt platform rotatably connected to a chassis of the tilt truck which can be raised to an angle of more than 90 degrees with respect to the tilt truck. The tilt platform includes a sliding arm assembly with at least one grappler hook sized to receive and secure a tank lifting bar of a vertical tank. The tilt truck, utilizing the tilt platform and sliding arm assembly is capable of lowering a vertical tank from a vertical position to a horizontal position ready for transport by a single operator located within a cab section of the tilt truck. Similarly, the tilt truck can also raise a vertical tank from a horizontal position to a vertical position.
Hoist assembly
A hoist assembly is disclosed. The hoist assembly can include a frame, a first sheave assembly fixed relative to the frame, a second sheave assembly movable relative to the frame, and a cable engaged with the first sheave assembly and the second sheave assembly. The first sheave assembly can include a first sheave comprising a first axis of rotation and a second sheave comprising a second axis of rotation oriented perpendicular to the first axis of rotation. The second sheave assembly can comprise a third sheave comprising a third axis of rotation and a fourth sheave comprising a fourth axis of rotation angularly-oriented relative to the third axis of rotation. The third axis of rotation and the fourth axis of rotation can be coplanar. The sheaves can be removable and replaceable.
ROLL-OFF FRAME HAVING FLOATING LOCKDOWN MECHANISM
An apparatus for loading and unloading containers of various lengths onto and off of a roll-off vehicle has a floating lockdown mechanism which moves relative to a front end of the top frame. The floating lockdown mechanism is movable away from the front end of the top frame to meet and releasably confine a front roller on a shorter container, such that the lockdown mechanism can be utilized without pulling the container all the way to the front end of the top frame.
Rapid Loading Sled for Wheeled Vehicle Transportation
A rapid loading sled for use during the transportation of wheeled vehicles via trailer or truck. The sled includes a body with a frame and deck that provide a low profile surface for loading and securing a wheeled vehicle to before the sled is loaded on a trailer or truck for transportation. The sled includes a sliding assembly to improve maneuverability during loading and a winch system for guiding the retractable cable of a winch during operation.
Method and apparatus for transporting a tank
The present invention is a tank transport system having a hydraulic tilt tank trailer and a vertical tank. The hydraulic tilt tank trailer includes a utility trailer and a tilt chassis having a tilt chassis frame, where tilt chassis is rotatably attached to the utility trailer. A hydraulic lift system is used to provide the mechanical force to tilt, or rotate, the tilt chassis. The vertical tank includes a hollow body supported by a base frame and a sled frame. To load the vertical tank, the vertical tank is positioned to rest on the sled frame and tilt chassis is tilted from the towing position to the loading/unloading position. The vertical tank is pulled onto the tilt chassis where only the sled frame is in contact with the tilt chassis. The tilt chassis is then tilted, or rotated, back into the towing position for transportation.
