Tank trailer operating system
A ground-level access operating system for a tank trailer. The ground-level system includes a cleaning/washing device, a venting device, an inspection access port, and device for loading/unloading the compartments. All devices in this system are located on the side of the semi-trailer, within an operator's reach on the ground. The devices locations are meant to be reachable to ensure operator safety. The operator of the trailer can execute all work without having to reach the top of the tank. Both of venting and cleaning/washing devices have their access port on top of the tank but are hooked up at a position proximate ground level, for an easy-to-reach operation and inspection by on operator on the ground.
Tanker truck manifold offloading systems and methods
A tanker truck offloading manifold method. The tanker truck offloading method includes detecting a tanker truck in at least one of a plurality of offloading stations, energizing a blower having an inlet duct coupled to a tank receiving fluid from the plurality of offloading stations, the blower to draw gasses from the tank when at least one tanker truck is offloading at least one of the plurality of offloading stations, de-energizing the blower when no tanker truck is offloading at any of the plurality of offloading stations, energizing a pump having an inlet coupled to the tank when the tank level is above a predetermined high level, and de-energizing the pump when the tank level is below a predetermined low level.
Transportation management system for railway transportation of LNG tank containers and transportation management device
A transportation management system for a tank container allowed to be placed on a container freight car, the tank container including a vessel capable of accommodating liquefied natural gas and a frame body which supports the vessel, the transportation management system includes a vessel management device and a transportation management device to communicate with the vessel management device. The vessel management device includes a vessel information detection unit to detect vessel information of the vessel included in the tank container, and a vessel management device-side communication unit to transmit the vessel information detected by the vessel information detection unit to the transportation management device. The transportation management device includes a transportation management device-side communication unit to receive the vessel information from the vessel management device, and an output control unit to output warning information based on the vessel information received from the vessel management device, to an output unit.
IN-TANK ILLUMINATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
An in-tank illumination system and method for a translucent tank with sensors configured to monitor conditions of the tank and material inside. The illumination system includes an illumination source that illuminates the tank interior and is visible outside; and a controller that determines tank conditions based on the sensor readings, and sends control signals to the illumination source. When the controller detects a tank condition, it sends control signals to the source to illuminate the tank to indicate the tank condition. The system can include a bracket connecting the source to the tank interior near the top. The controller and source can be on different vehicles. Different control signals can change colors, blink patterns, and other properties of the source to indicate different tank conditions. The tank conditions can have different priorities to select which to indicate. The severity or duration of tank conditions can also be indicated.
Liquid flow indicator device and method of use
A Liquid Flow Indicator Device comprising: a sight glass having one or more cages positioned around the sight glass for containing one or more indicator objects, so a user can see the indicator objects, which are visible to the user looking through the sight glass, thereby providing visual notification to the user. When the liquid is flowing through the cages and also the sight glass, the indicator objects will float around inside the cage, thereby providing visual notification to the user that the liquid is flowing through the cage and the sight glass. The indicator objects can also make a sound when the liquid flows through the sight glass and through the cage by banging around inside the cage, thereby providing audio notification to the user that the liquid is flowing through the sight glass. As such, this invention provides Audio notifications and/or Visual notifications regarding the flow of liquid. A fluid transport system and a method of using the device.
Aircraft deicing fluid recovery system
A deicing fluid recovery system includes a vehicle movable adjacent to an aircraft and including a holding tank configured to store deicing fluid and a receptacle configured to capture deicing fluid from the aircraft during a deicing procedure. During the deicing procedure, deicing fluid runoff from a surface of the aircraft may be captured into the receptacle and transferred from the receptacle into the holding tank. The deicing fluid runoff may be captured into the receptacle before the deicing fluid runoff contacts ground.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, VEHICLE, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
An information processing apparatus, an information processing system, a vehicle, an information processing method and an information processing program which improve the utility of techniques for generating a travel plan for a vehicle are provided. An information processing apparatus includes a controller. The controller acquires first storage information indicating a stored amount of a first storage apparatus of a first vehicle provided with the first storage apparatus for storing drainage water. The controller generates a travel plan for a second vehicle provided with a second storage apparatus for storing the drainage water collected from the first vehicle, based on predetermined information which includes the first storage information.
TRAILER-MOUNTED METERED PUMPING SYSTEM
A trailer-mounted pumping system includes a flatbed trailer having a generally flat deck surface, a pump, a batch controller, and a metering device in electronic communication with the batch controller, wherein the pump is configured to move a liquid from at least one tote supported by the generally flat deck surface to a location off-board the flatbed trailer, and the batch controller is configured to measure a volume of the liquid via the metering device. The pump, the metering device, and/or the batch controller may be disposed beneath the generally flat deck surface.
Level indicator
The present disclosure reveals a level indicator for use with storage tanks on motorhomes or campers. The level indicator comprises a sensor attached to the bottom of a storage tank in order to allow easy access to replace the sensor in case of failure. The sensor is calibrated to indicate the amount of liquid above the sensor in the tank. As the level of the tank changes, a readout meter indicates the volume of liquid present by percentage.
CONTROL SYSTEMS FOR LIQUID PRODUCT DELIVERY VEHICLES
A product delivery vehicle system includes a product delivery vehicle with at least one tank compartment. The system includes an internal valve fluidly coupled to the tank compartment, a control valve, and an air system comprising a main air valve and a solenoid valve fluidly coupled to the main air valve and to the internal valve. The solenoid valve is operable to open and close the internal valve. The system includes an electronic control unit communicatively coupled to the control valve, the main air valve, and the solenoid valve. The system includes a tank tag reader operable to read a tank tag and transmit a tank tag indicator associated with the tank tag, the tank tag indicator indicative of a stored liquid type in a distribution tank. The electronic control unit may maintain the internal valve closed and the control valve locked when a product type mismatch is detected.
