Strap system for securing a payload
The present invention discloses a strap system for securing a payload. The strap system includes a first fastener having a connecting crosspiece, a reversing crosspiece, and a hanger capable of attaching to the payload, and all connected together on each side by lateral members. The strap system also includes a strap attached to the connecting crosspiece of the first fastener and capable of passing around the reversing crosspiece and tightening the strap around the payload.
Truck bed partitioning device
This invention discloses a connector device with a particular T shape, which allows for the connection of two pieces of lumber in a perpendicular fashion. A user secures the connector device to two pieces lumber and fit it within a truck bed, setting up three separate compartments for storage within the truck bed. By using two or more connector devices, and three or more pieces of lumber, at least four separate compartments can be created.
Combination tie down lug and step riser
A combination tie down lug and step riser includes a foot support portion, a hold down loop and a mounting portion. The combination tie down lug and step riser is preferably fabricated from a single piece of material. The foot support portion includes a plurality of projections extending upward from a top edge thereof. The hold down loop extends from one end of the foot rest portion. The hold down loop includes a U-shaped opening with the U-shaped opening positioned along a horizontal axis. The mounting portion extends from an opposing end of the foot support portion. Opposing ends of the hold down loop and the mounting portion are attached to an excavator base with welding or any other suitable attachment method.
Load restraint fastener for use with different load restraint attachments
A load restraint fastener for use with a plurality of load restraint attachments is described. The load restraint fastener includes a body. The body includes a substantially planar portion having a front face and an opposite rear face. The substantially planar portion defines an opening and includes a first receiving portion having a receiving surface. The first receiving portion also defines a first portion of the opening. The substantially planar portion includes, in addition, a second receiving portion having a receiving surface. The second receiving portion is spaced apart from the first receiving portion and symmetric with the first receiving portion about at least one axis of symmetry. The second receiving portion defines a second portion of the opening. The body also includes a projecting portion having a receiving surface. The projecting portion extends outwardly from the rear face of the substantially planar portion.
Method for Securing Cargo Boxes Upon the Bed of a Pick-up Truck; Device for Securing Cargo Boxes Upon the Bed of a Pick-up Truck
A method for securing cargo boxes upon the bed of a pick-up truck includes the steps of securing cargo rings to a structural portion of each inner side wall of the pick-up truck; determining the distance separating adjacent cargo rings; providing strap members having connecting hooks that are detachable secured to adjacent cargo rings; and securing a preselected quantity of strap rings to each strap member, the strap rings ultimately receiving cross straps that engage top portions cargo boxes to forcibly urge the cargo boxes upon the floor of the pick-up truck.
Aircraft loading system
An aircraft loading system is configured to tether equipment within an aircraft. The loading system has a wedge shaped bracket that has a front plate joined to two side plates and a bottom plate. A middle plate is parallel to the front plate and joins the two side plates. A front opening is arranged through the bottom plate between the front plate and the middle plate. The front opening is configured to accommodate an attachment ring. The attachment ring is used to tether the equipment within the aircraft.
ACCESSORY MOUNTING SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE AND METHOD FOR USING THE SAME
An accessory mounting fixture for a vehicle is provided. The accessory mounting fixture includes a fixture body connectable to a vehicle surface and having a substantially U-shape defining a frontal opening and adapted to receive an accessory portion. The accessory mounting fixture also includes a locking assembly adapted to selectively secure the accessory portion within the frontal opening. The locking assembly has a first lock member pivotally connected to the fixture body on a first side of the frontal opening and a second lock member pivotally connected to the fixture body on the second side of the frontal opening. The first and second locking members are operable between a closed position for confining the accessory portion within the frontal opening, and an open configuration. Positioning the first and second lock members in the closed position secures the accessory portion within the frontal opening.
System for securing an accessory to a vehicle
An anchor for use with a base connected to a vehicle includes: an anchor case; a latch rotatably mounted to the anchor case, the latch having a latch body; a cam extending from the latch body and separated from the anchor case by a space, the cam being configured to be inserted through a base aperture defined by the base, the cam being rotatable about an axis between a locked position and an unlocked position to selectively secure the anchor to the base; a lever operatively connected to the cam and rotatable by a user in order to cause the cam to rotate between the locked position and the unlocked position; and a biasing mechanism biasing the cam towards the anchor case. A system for securing an accessory to a vehicle is also disclosed.
PICKUP TRUCK STAKE-POCKET ASSEMBLIES
A pickup-truck box includes a bed and a sidewall connected to a longitudinal side of the bed. The sidewall includes an inner panel, an outer panel, and a top rail. The top rail defines a stake-pocket hole and extends between the panels to define a sidewall interior. A stake-pocket bracket includes a tubular body defining an opening. The bracket is disposed within the sidewall interior with a first side of the tubular body secured to the inner panel at a location that vertical aligns the opening with the hole to receive an object within the opening.
Fin Grip With Independently Adjustable Arms
A grip assembly includes a base member, a cross beam coupled to the base member having a first mounting portion and a second mounting portion. A first grip arm is removably coupled to the first mounting portion and is independently positionable into a first position of a first plurality of lockable positions relative to the first mounting portion.
