A method for securing cargo boxes upon the bed of a pick-up truck includes the steps of securing cargo rings to a structural portion of each inner side wall of the pick-up truck; determining the distance separating adjacent cargo rings; providing strap members having connecting hooks that are detachable secured to adjacent cargo rings; and securing a preselected quantity of strap rings to each strap member, the strap rings ultimately receiving cross straps that engage top portions cargo boxes to forcibly urge the cargo boxes upon the floor of the pick-up truck.

An apparatus for raising and lowering a vehicle cover is provided. The apparatus includes a flexible member having a first end and a second end, the flexible member configured to flex so that, with the first end positioned adjacent to a vehicle and the second and positioned generally higher than the vehicle, the second end raises the vehicle cover up from the vehicle and lowers the vehicle cover down towards the vehicle. The second end of the flexible member is configured to retain the vehicle cover.

A cargo containment system is disclosed comprising a series of length adjustable anchor straps carried by a truck, a series of rings slidably carried by said anchor straps, and a series of length adjustable lateral straps coupled between adjacent anchor straps about said rings to define an adjustable flexible lattice of cargo containment function.

An improved boat cover for covering a boat having a strap configuration that helps to better shed precipitation. The cover may have a fabric having a top side that is adapted to shed precipitation and a bottom side that, when the boat cover is in an attached state to the boat, at least a portion of the bottom side faces a portion interior of the boat. One or more longitudinal straps and one or more lateral straps may support the fabric on its bottom side. In the attached state the straps support the fabric such that a semi-rigid rib structure beneath the boat cover is formed to pull the boat cover taut over the boat.

A tie down device which includes a hub having a peripheral edge and plurality of stretch cord receiving slots. A plurality of stretch cords are provided, each of the stretch cords being sized to pass within and be retained by a pair of receiving slots such that each stretch cord has terminal ends that extend on a first side of the hub and a looped body portion extending on a second side of the hub.

The present invention relates to a portable and removable cargo net system operable to be installed in compartments or spaces of varying sizes in a vehicle such as a boat. The cargo net may be used to separate cargo from other structures in the cargo space or compartment to (1) prevent damage to the cargo or other structures in the cargo compartment or space and/or (2) to maintain ordered arrangement of the cargo held in the cargo net.

A product may include a base that may have a first face and an opposite second face. An anchor may be connected to the first face. A pivot may be provided for the base so that the base may be turned on the pivot. The base may be moveable to a first position where the first face may face in a first direction where the first face may be revealed and the second face may be concealed. A device for securing at least one object that is disposed on a load surface of a vehicle is provided. Said device having at least one securing element which by external power is adjustable at least from a loading position to a securing position, wherein in the loading position at least one object can be disposed on the load surface, and the at least one object in the securing position by way of the securing element is held in a location on the load surface in that the securing element in the securing position is in contact with the at least one object and a force that acts in the direction of the load surface is applied to the securing element in the securing position.
