Container mounting system for vehicles
A mounting system for securing a container to a bed of a vehicle includes a mounting bracket that is adjustable in its length dimension. A first connection joint is for attaching the first end portion to a sidewall of the bed. A second end portion has at least one foot portion for engaging a floor surface of the bed. A second connection joint is for attaching a central portion of the mounting bracket to the container. The bracket is adjustable to a length dimension sufficient to engage the foot portion of the bracket to the bottom surface of the bed, while the bracket is attached to the side wall of the bed through the first connection joint.
Bendable cargo securement device and method
A compact bendable cargo securement device for stabilizing unrestrained items in the bed or cargo area of a pick-up truck or storage area in a motorhome or recreational trailer is disclosed. It may also be used as a stabilizer doing woodwork and other jobs that require stability of the work platform. The device will conform to any surface and has the ability to wrap around objects—both regular and irregular shaped—and will hold them and keep them from shifting. As disclosed, the bendable cargo securement device is composed of a flexible tube loaded with filler material when used and deployed for securing objects. The flexible tube is preferably fabricated from rubber or any material allowing sufficient flexibility for the cargo securement device to wrap around items while having suitable strength to avoid puncture/destruction from deployment. Each end of the device requires a closure to contain the filler material.

Vehicle cargo management system
A cargo management system including a truck bed organizer a first cross bar having opposing ends, wherein the first elongate cross bar has a dropped ledge portion spaced inward toward a midpoint from the opposing ends, a second linear cross bar having opposing ends, at least two side members joined to the opposing ends of the first cross bar and the second cross bar to form an opposing pair of corners, wherein a top edge or the at least two side members have connectors for detachably engaging a rail along a top edge of opposing sidewalls of the truck bed, and a pliable shell sized and configured to extend along a length of the at least two crossbars such the pliable shell is downwardly disposed from the opposing crossbars to form hollow compartment, wherein the pliable shell is configured to position a container whereby a lid is readily opened when the container is housed in the pliable shell.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR SUPPORTING COMPARTMENT INSERTS WITH INTERFACE ARRANGEMENTS IN AUTONOMOUS DELIVERY VEHICLES
According to one aspect, a compartment on a vehicle such as an autonomous or semi-autonomous delivery vehicle may be provided with an interface arrangement configured to facilitate the coupling and uncoupling of compartment inserts. The interface arrangement may include mechanical, electrical, and data transmission features. Mechanical features of an interface arrangement may be configured to physically secure or hold a compartment insert in a desired position and/or orientation within a compartment, while electrical features may be configured to enable power to be provided to the compartment insert. Data transmission features may be configured to enable monitoring and control of features of the compartment insert. Different types of compartment inserts may be configured to mate with an interface arrangement, e.g., a substantially universal interface arrangement which effectively provides for interoperability of different compartment inserts, in a compartment of a vehicle.
Multiple Cargo Carrying Delivery System for an Unmanned System and Method of Use
A bail hook for use with cargo is disclosed. The bail hook can have a base plate, a spacer and a handle. The bail hook can also include a handle plate located between the base plate and the handle. The bail hook can include position markers located along an edge of the base plate and the handle plate. The bail hook can include a handle mount located between the handle plate and the handle. The bail hook can have a first and second flap slot configured to receive a first and second box flap. The bail hook can have a bevel, where the bevel can be located on the handle plate. The bail hook can be made from plastic or a combination of materials, such as metal. A method of use of the bail hook with box cargo is also disclosed.

Cargo load restraining device
A system for a truck bed extender including a shield assembly, a frame assembly and a vehicle assembly is disclosed. The shield assembly includes a shield that is secured to a frame of the frame assembly. The frame is secured to a truck bed of a vehicle with mounting members. The shield includes a first shield portion and a second shield portion that are slidably attached together by a shield pin. The shield has an L shaped configuration to prevent items from sliding off of the truck bed. The shield provides protection to the top of the truck bed. The second shield portion is adjustable in length to secure items of different lengths onto the truck bed. The frame is adjustable in height to help accommodate and secure items of different heights onto the truck bed with the shield.
Load Securing Device
A load securing device for securing a load such as a pallet within a container such as a cargo trailer so as to prevent the load from side-to-side shifting or jostling. The load securing device includes an inner support telescopically connected to an outer support. The inner support includes a first brace and the outer support includes a second brace. The inner and outer supports each include a ratchet for drawing the supports towards or away from each other so as to lengthen or shorten the effective length of the load securing device. A handle is connected between the first and second ratchets so that the handle may adjust the ratchets. A locking device is included for selectively locking the handle in place to prevent further adjustment of the supports. The braces may be secured between a load and a container to secure the load within the container.
