AERODYNAMIC VEHICLE STRUCTURES
An air scoop light unit for a vehicle includes a light emitting area and related features where the light unit comprises a concave guiding surface spaced apart from the vehicle body to form an airflow channel there between that guides airflow at least partially around an outer side corner of the vehicle body to enhance aerodynamic efficiency. The air scoop light unit may incorporate safety features such as sensing devices as well as features that allow the air scoop light unit to deform, break or move in a predetermined manner such as to absorb energy in case of contact with an object such as a pedestrian. Vehicles including one or more such lamp assemblies are also included, including vehicles having tapered bodies.
Vehicle lamp
A vehicle lamp includes a planar light-emitting structure having a substrate on which an organic EL emission element is provided, a framing member that fixes the planar light-emitting structure inside a vehicle-lamp light cabinet, and an elastic member that is interposed between the planar light-emitting structure and the framing member and that fixes the planar light-emitting structure by its biasing force.
Vehicle lamp assembly
A vehicle lamp assembly is provided herein. The lamp assembly includes a housing including one or more light sources therein. The housing is configured to couple with a backing plate. A first electrical connector is disposed on the housing. A second electrical connector is attached to the backing plate and is coupled with a vehicle power source. The first electrical connector is coupled with the second electrical connector as the housing is inserted into the backing plate.
INDUSTRIAL VEHICLE AND HEADLIGHT
An industrial vehicle includes a vehicle body, a pair of right and left front pillars provided in the front portion of the vehicle body, and a headlight provided on the front pillar. The headlight is provided with a light and a bracket to which the light is attached. The bracket has an attachment plate and a protective frame formed in the front portion of the attachment plate. The protective frame has a vertical frame and a first horizontal frame and a second horizontal frame shorter than the vertical frame.
Industrial Vehicle and Lighting Device
An industrial vehicle includes a vehicle body, a head guard provided in the upper portion of the vehicle body, and a lighting device provided on the head guard and illuminating a space in front of the vehicle body. The lighting device is provided with a light illuminating the space in front of the vehicle body and brackets removably attached to a pipe of the head guard. The light is attached to the bracket so as to be positioned below the pipe and positioned beside or behind a front pillar of the head guard.
Front light bar assembly for vehicle
A front light bar assembly is provided to fasten to the vehicle so the assembly is in front of the grill and above the front bumper. The assembly has a main frame with a front tubular member and a mounting plate permanently fastened to and above that front member. The mounting plate has a plurality of fastener holes. Two vehicle mounting members connect the main frame and extend rearwardly to connect to the motor vehicle and position the main frame above the front bumper and in front of the front grill. A light box is releasably fastened below the main frame. A front panel of the light box has an elongated opening with a mounting bracket on each opposing end of the opening to hold a light bar. A decorative panel may cover the opening. A top cover plate may cover the fastener openings. Lights may be optionally connected to the mounting plate, below an over rider bar also optionally connected to the main frame.
MODULAR GRILL GUARD
A modular grill guard that is mounted in front of a vehicle includes a main guard having a right bar, a left bar and a first cross member connected to the right bar and the left bar. A right guard is removably connected to the right bar, the right, guard includes a right guard member and a right guard bracket, the right guard bracket providing the removable connection to the right bar and extends from the right guard bracket. A left guard is removably connected to the left bar, the left guard includes a left guard member and a left guard bracket, the left guard bracket providing the removable connection to the left bar, the left guard member extending from the left guard bracket. Connecting brackets extend from the right bar and left bar to connect the modular grill guard to the vehicle.
UNIVERSAL MOUNTING TABS AND KITS FOR AUTOMOTIVE COMPONENTS
Mounting tabs, kits and methods of using the mounting tabs where none previously existed or for replacing/repairing broken mounting tabs are disclosed. For example, the mounting tabs, kits and methods disclosed herein are well suited for the repair of high value components, including automotive components.
MODULAR ROLL BAR
A modular roll bar mounted on the bed rails of a pickup truck includes a first bracket on a driver's side bed rail, the first bracket including a first locator and a second locator, and a second bracket on a passenger's side bed rail, the second bracket including a third locator and a fourth locator. A first bar is removably connected to the first locator and the third locator, the first bar extends to an upper surface of the cab of the pickup. A second bar is removably connected to the second locator and the fourth locator, the second bar extends to an upper surface of the cab of the pickup truck, is generally parallel to the first bar at the upper surface of the cab of the pickup truck.
Compressible stopper behind headlamp for protecting closures against damage during a low speed collision
An apparatus for protecting against damage to a vehicle during a low speed collision. The apparatus includes a headlamp adapted to breakaway to provide the vehicle with front end compliance for pedestrian protection. To avoid causing further damage to vehicle components during the low speed collision, a compressible stopper, such as a foam block, is provided for simultaneously engaging the headlamp and a component of the vehicle during the rearward movement of the headlamp as a result of the collision. Related methods are also disclosed.
