Vehicle body shield
Disclosed herein are embodiments of a vehicle body shield having a light mount. The vehicle body shield can protect portions of a vehicle from damage when the vehicle is in motion and also provide illumination to regions around or in front of a vehicle via light sources supported by the light mount. The vehicle body shield can have a protection surface facing away from the vehicle, an attachment surface facing towards the vehicle, and a light mount extending upward from at least a portion of the attachment surface and between first and second ends of the vehicle body shield.
Emergency light accessory mount for a vehicle
An accessory mount mountable to a roof of a vehicle. The accessory mount has a horizontal mounting surface spaced from and above emergency warning lights. Accessories, such as spotlights, may be mounted on the horizontal mounting surfaces. The accessory mount provides a platform above the emergency warning lights allowing unobstructed view of the emergency warning lights without any possible of obstruction by the accessory mounted on the horizontal mounting surface.
Composite plastic material and lamp structures made thereof
The present disclosure provides a lamp structure including a shell made of a thermal plastic material with improved heat conductivity. In some embodiments, the thermal plastic material includes a thermal conductive filler comprising nylon, calcium carbonate, metal power, glass fiber, and paraffin wax.
Customizable vehicle exterior lamps
This disclosure relates to vehicle exterior lighting systems that include lamp assemblies that may be customized for meeting customer styling preferences. Exemplary lamp assemblies may include a lamp housing, a removable insert mounted to an interior wall of the lamp housing, and an access panel mounted to the rear exterior surface. The access panel is removable from the rear exterior surface to expose an access opening for inserting or removing the removable insert. The removable insert may include one or more customized features for personalizing the lamp assemblies.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR VEHICULAR LIGHT FIXTURES
A lighting device is provided for controlling the photometric distribution of light emitted by two or more LEDs. The lighting device may be integrated with a control system of the vehicle and may be controlled by a remote controller. The lighting device may be capable of being operated in one or more modes of operation based on operating conditions, user input, or both. Operating conditions may include vehicle conditions, environmental conditions, and user conditions. The controller may operate a software application to enable the user to modify, control, or otherwise regulate any mode of operation or other feature of the lighting system.
Arc modular light devices, systems, and methods
Arc modular light devices, systems, and methods. In at least one exemplary embodiment of a module system of the present disclosure, the module system comprises a plurality of LED modules, each LED module comprising an outer housing, a light source positioned within the outer housing, and a lens positioned so that light from the light source can be emitted through the lens; and a plate configured to couple to each of the plurality of LED modules; wherein the module system is configured to focus light from the LED modules inward when the plate has a concave curvature; and wherein the module system is configured to spread light from the LED modules outward when the plate has a convex curvature.
Method of coupling automotive exterior light bars
First adapter (10) and second adapter (40) are each separately securable to a respective automotive light bar (200, 201) at mutually facing lateral light bar end caps (206). The adapters (10, 40) interfit, such as first adapter (10) having one or more tenons (14; 18) received in shape-conforming recess or mortise (44) of second adapter (40). The coupling assembly formed from interfit first and second adapters (10, 40) sufficiently supports a midspan region of conjoined light bars (200, 201) to permit omission of mounting L-brackets (208) conventionally required at the mutually facing light bar ends (206), thus allowing fewer holes to be drilled in vehicle roof or bumper (212) and resulting in an aesthetically cleaner presentation of the overall lengthened light bar assembly.
Truck Load Bed Ingress and Egress Assembly
A truck load bed ingress and egress assembly incorporating a tailgate clearance arm; a column fixedly attached to and extending upwardly from a distal end of the tailgate clearance arm; a step mounted at the tailgate clearance arm's distal end; and a light mounted at the column's upper end, the column constituting a handle which secures foot placement upon the step by stabilizing a user, the column further constituting a light mount which further secures the foot placements upon the step by illuminating the step.
Flush Mount Fog Pod and Method of Attachment
A flush mount fog pod is front-mounted through a hole in a vehicle or bumper frame. A bracket is inserted through the hole and turned 90 degrees for mounting to a bezel, which is attached to the front of the hole with bolts and nuts. A light pod is then snapped into the bracket. An adjustor bolt adjustably attaches to the back of the light pod through an access hole in the bezel and controls the tilt of the light pod by screwing and unscrewing the head of the adjustor bolt from the front of the light. A protective cover rotates over the head of the adjustor bolt when not in use to protect it from dirt and debris.
