Gas hauler with an awning with a built in light
A tank trailer includes a tank having an outer surface face and an inner surface and a central longitudinal vertical plane extending between the first end and the second end. The outer surface faces away from the central longitudinal vertical plane and the inner surface faces towards the central longitudinal vertical plane. The outer surface and the inner surface define an interior volume adapted to be filled with material. The tank trailer may further include a set of ground-engaging wheels supporting the tank trailer from below, a bar positioned proximate the outer surface of the tank and a light source provided on the bar. The tank may further include a frame member operatively engaged with the bar and a sheet material extending between the bar and the frame member. The frame member is movable between a first position and a second position.
Automobile Retractable Hidden Back-UP Lamp
A rear hidden lighting system for an automobile is comprised of a lamp mounted to a bracket attached to the vehicle's structure, a linear actuator mounted to the vehicle's structure which rotates the lamp, an electronic relay system which powers the linear actuator in two opposite directions, a switch mounted to the transmission of the vehicle which provides switched power to the linear actuator and a 12 volt or 6 volt power supply which is provided by the power source of the vehicle.
The lamp and bracket is mounted to the rear structure of the vehicle in a hidden location. The linear actuator is mounted to the rear structure of the vehicle near the lamp in such a manner to as to allow rotation of the lamp as the actuator rod moves in and out of the body of the actuator. When the vehicle is placed in reverse gear, the lamp will rotate out of its hidden position becoming visible and lighting the rear of the vehicle. The lamp will rotate back to the hidden position when the vehicle is taken out of reverse gear. One of the objectives and benefits of this invention is that the lamp and bracket and the linear actuator can be mounted to existing attachment points on the vehicle which will not necessitate drilling holes, altering vehicle componentry or welding parts to existing vehicle parts or structure.
Moveable illumination and image acquisition unit for a motor vehicle
An illumination and image acquisition unit for movable mounting on a vehicle body includes a movable section having an image acquisition section with at least one camera, a lighting member having at least one light source and an end section, the at least one light source being a component of a side boundary light, an ambient lighting, a signal or warning light, a flasher, a camper light, a laser display, a logo lamp, a floor light, or a projector. A motor vehicle includes such a lighting and imaging unit.
Laterally extending backup light for trailer of truck
Method and apparatus for a laterally extendable backup light system for placement on the trailer of the 18-wheeler tractor trailer truck device. The light is mounted underneath an outer edge of the trailer of the tractor-trailer so that they would be extendable laterally away from the edge of the trailer so that the light portion of the present invention would extend far enough outwardly to travel beyond the outer edge of the trailer so that the beam of light emanating therefrom would illuminate the area behind the rear of the trailer. An air cylinder operated by an electrical actuator controlled by the driver and/or the transmission of the truck would actuate the light portion so that the light portion would extends from an enclosure and beyond the edge of the trailer of the truck-trailer when the transmission is placed in reverse and then the light portion would be retracted back into the enclosure by an electrical actuator when the transmission is taken out of reverse.
Light System, Method of Forming Tunnels of Light, a Mobile 360° Light System, and a Method of Cleaning the Mobile 360° Light System
A light system comprising: (a) a plurality of light sources connected to a vehicle and creating light that radiates away from the vehicle so that the light substantially surrounds the vehicle; and (b) one or more sensors that detect light from another light source; and wherein one or more of the plurality of light sources are turned off in a direction of the another light source while some of the plurality of light sources remain on so that a tunnel having a reduction or absence of light is formed in the direction of the another light source between the plurality of light sources that remain on.
Light system for tractor
An auxiliary light system for a tractor for illuminating an area in front of a loader of the tractor. The auxiliary light system can include a pair of light assemblies mounted on respective loader brackets connecting the loader to a main body of the tractor. The light assemblies can be controlled from an operator station of the tractor to move lights on the light assemblies between stowed and operational positions. The light assemblies can be installed as original equipment on the tractor or applied to the tractor as after-market equipment. Associated methods are also disclosed.

ROTATABLE LIGHT BAR FOR MOTOR VEHICLE SPORT BARS
A light bar for a motor vehicle has a plurality of lights mounted to an elongated support member is rotatably connected to opposing end walls of a rectangular frame. An offset cam is connected to the support member and moved by an actuating mechanism between a first and second position which cause the support member and lights to rotate about an axis to corresponding first and second positions. When the support frame and lights are in a first position they are shielded by and substantially enclosed by the sides and ends of the rectangular frame, and when in a second position the lights extend above and generally parallel to the rectangular frame to shine above and forward of the rectangular frame. A power switch energizes the actuating mechanism to move the lights and support member between the first and second positions.
