Vehicle badge sensor assembly
A badge is provided herein. The badge includes a proximity sensor located on said badge providing an activation field. The badge further includes control circuitry configured to monitor a signal responsive to the activation field and determine a switch activation based on the signal. The control circuitry is further configured to determine a moisture value based upon the signal.
Vehicle lighting assembly with retractable cover providing daylight running lamp
A vehicle lighting assembly configured as a headlamp is provided. The vehicle lighting assembly includes a housing defining a light output window and a light source arranged to direct light through the light output window. The vehicle lighting assembly also includes a retractable cover actuatable between open and closed positions. The cover covers the light output window in the closed position to define a light image pattern for light output. The assembly also includes a retractable cover actuatable between an open position to output headlamp lighting and a closed position to output daylight running lamp lighting, wherein fewer LEDs are activated to generate the daylight running lamp lighting as compared to the headlamp lighting.
ROTATABLE LIGHT BAR FOR MOTOR VEHICLE SPORT BARS
A light bar for a motor vehicle has a plurality of lights mounted to an elongated support member is rotatably connected to opposing end walls of a rectangular frame. An offset cam is connected to the support member and moved by an actuating mechanism between a first and second position which cause the support member and lights to rotate about an axis to corresponding first and second positions. When the support frame and lights are in a first position they are shielded by and substantially enclosed by the sides and ends of the rectangular frame, and when in a second position the lights extend above and generally parallel to the rectangular frame to shine above and forward of the rectangular frame. A power switch energizes the actuating mechanism to move the lights and support member between the first and second positions.
