A device for adjusting a supporting frame of a headlight of a motor vehicle, comprising a first coupling element, a second coupling element, and a guide element, wherein the second coupling element is pivotable relative to the first coupling element, wherein the first coupling element has a receiving region for a spherical segment-shaped region of the second coupling element, wherein the region is secured in a positive manner in the receiving region, wherein the region is secured to the supporting frame, wherein the first coupling element is guided in the guide element so as to be displaceable in at least one first direction.
Lighting apparatus
A lighting apparatus includes: a light source; a sealed housing accommodating the light source therein; and an aiming screw rotatably supported in a through-hole which extends through the housing. Therefore, an optical axis of light emitted from the light source can be adjusted by rotating the aiming screw. A breathing passage communicating inside and outside of the housing with each other is provided inside the aiming screw, so that it is unnecessary to separately provide a breathing passage, thereby enabling decrease in the number of parts, and simplification of the structure. Accordingly, breathing of the housing of the lighting apparatus is achieved using a simple and compact structure.
VEHICLE LIGHTING MODULE
A vehicle lighting module includes first and second optical units, each having a light source and a light distribution forming portion configured to control an optical path of light emitted from the light source. The first and second optical units are configured to form first and second light distribution patterns in front, respectively. Horizontal illumination widths of the first and second light distribution patterns are substantially equal. Each of the first and second light distribution patterns has a horizontally extending cutoff line at at least a part of an end edge of one of upper and lower sides thereof. The cutoff line of the first light distribution pattern is positioned at the one of the upper and lower sides of the cutoff line of the second light distribution pattern.
VEHICLE LIGHTING MODULE
A vehicle lighting module includes first and second optical units, each having a light source and a light distribution forming portion configured to control an optical path of light emitted from the light source. The first and second optical units are configured to form first and second light distribution patterns in front, respectively. Horizontal illumination widths of the first and second light distribution patterns are substantially equal. Each of the first and second light distribution patterns has a horizontally extending cutoff line at at least a part of an end edge of one of upper and lower sides thereof. The cutoff line of the first light distribution pattern is positioned at the one of the upper and lower sides of the cutoff line of the second light distribution pattern.
HEAD LAMP DEVICE OF STRADDLE-TYPE VEHICLE
A head lamp device of a straddle-type vehicle, comprises at least one lamp unit including at least one light source and a plurality of emission ports through which light emitted from the light source is output; and a cover member including a transmission section which transmits in a forward direction of a vehicle body, the light output through the plurality of emission ports, and covering a front portion of the lamp unit, wherein the transmission section includes a first surface, and a second surface bent with respect to the first surface, and an edge is provided on a ridge line formed by the first surface and the second surface, and wherein the edge extends through a gap formed between two adjacent emission ports of the plurality of emission ports.
HEAD LAMP DEVICE OF STRADDLE-TYPE VEHICLE
A head lamp device of a straddle-type vehicle, comprises at least one lamp unit including at least one light source and a plurality of emission ports through which light emitted from the light source is output; and a cover member including a transmission section which transmits in a forward direction of a vehicle body, the light output through the plurality of emission ports, and covering a front portion of the lamp unit, wherein the transmission section includes a first surface, and a second surface bent with respect to the first surface, and an edge is provided on a ridge line formed by the first surface and the second surface, and wherein the edge extends through a gap formed between two adjacent emission ports of the plurality of emission ports.
Adjustment device for aiming two oppositely pivoted lamp elements of a motor vehicle
An adjustment device is provided for aiming two oppositely pivoted lamp elements. That device includes a single aim adjuster screw, a first connection connecting the adjuster screw to a first lamp element and a second connection connecting the adjuster screw to a second lamp element. One turns the adjuster screw to simultaneously pivot the first and second lamp elements in opposite directions and thereby aim the two lamp elements in a synchronous manner.
Headlight
A headlight, especially a motor vehicle headlight, comprises a bushing (1) with a translucent cover (2) forming an inner chamber (3) including a light source (4), an optical system (5) for guiding the light beam from the light source, a cooling body having the light source mounted thereon and fitted with cooling elements (61) to extract heat from the heat source, and a cooling channel (7) for passage of the cooling media for heat extraction from the cooling elements. The cooling channel is closed with respect to the chamber to prevent the cooling media from passing through the chamber outside the cooling channel The body forms the wall of a part of the cooling channel, and the cooling elements face the inner space of the cooling channel. The part of the cooling channel whose wall comprises the cooling body is arranged in a controlled movable way in the inner chamber.
Headlight
A headlight, especially a motor vehicle headlight, comprises a bushing (1) with a translucent cover (2) forming an inner chamber (3) including a light source (4), an optical system (5) for guiding the light beam from the light source, a cooling body having the light source mounted thereon and fitted with cooling elements (61) to extract heat from the heat source, and a cooling channel (7) for passage of the cooling media for heat extraction from the cooling elements. The cooling channel is closed with respect to the chamber to prevent the cooling media from passing through the chamber outside the cooling channel The body forms the wall of a part of the cooling channel, and the cooling elements face the inner space of the cooling channel. The part of the cooling channel whose wall comprises the cooling body is arranged in a controlled movable way in the inner chamber.
PARKING ASSISTANCE SYSTEM
A parking assistance system for a motor vehicle includes a monitoring unit for detecting an object in the vicinity of the vehicle and a light system connected to the monitoring unit and configured to emit light into the area surrounding the motor vehicle. The monitoring unit is configured to sense the bearing of an object and to control the distribution of the light emitted from the light system as a function of the sensed bearing.
