VEHICLE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A vehicle and control method of the vehicle are provided. The vehicle includes a camera provided on the vehicle and configured to capture an image of an object outside the vehicle, a controller configured to determine a photographing position required for facial recognition from the captured image, a guide configured to guide the photographing position, and a display configured to display a result of the facial recognition.
VEHICLE LIGHTING ASSEMBLY
A lighting assembly for a vehicle is provided herein. The lighting assembly includes first and second sets of light sources disposed on a bumper of the vehicle. A photoluminescent structure is disposed on the lighting assembly and configured to luminesce in response to excitation by the first or second sets of light sources. A detection system is configured to detect an object disposed proximately to the vehicle. The first or second set of light sources illuminate upon the detection of the object.
Vehicle component, and vehicle
There is provided a vehicular component which include an illumination device capable of favorably illuminating the periphery of a host vehicle. There is provided a vehicular component that includes an illumination device (3) installed on a roof part (30) and configured to cover a vehicle interior space from above. The illumination device (4) includes a light source unit (100) and a light emitting unit (300). The light emitting unit (300) configured to emit light by light emitted from the light source unit (100) is provided along an outer peripheral edge (31) of the roof part (30) in a top view of the vehicle (1).
Commodity trailer working area lighting system
A commodity trailer for storage and transport of a commodity, and provided with a lighting system. The commodity trailer can include a tub in which the commodity is stored and transported, wherein the tub includes at least one wall that is sloped from a first elevation to an opening beneath the tub at a second elevation lower than the first elevation to funnel the commodity toward the opening, and wherein the opening has a plurality of sides; a frame extending along at least one side of the opening; and a lamp mounted to the frame, wherein the lamp is positioned and oriented to direct light upon an area beneath the opening into which commodity from the tub flows upon exiting the opening.
VEHICLE ILLUMINATION SYSTEM
An illumination system for a vehicle is provided that includes a vehicle having a rear spoiler, a light assembly located on an underside of the spoiler, a sensor for sensing a location of a person proximate to the spoiler, and a controller for controlling the light assembly to illuminate an area proximate the rear of the vehicle when a person is detected proximate to the spoiler.
Vehicle-mounted apparatus
An apparatus mountable on a vehicle includes a movable device, a sensor, and a drive controller. The movable device is mountable on the vehicle so that a person around the vehicle sees the movable device. The movable device has at least one light emitter and is capable of rotating around an imaginary line extending in a height direction of the vehicle. The sensor detects a positional relationship between the vehicle and the person. The drive controller rotates the movable device toward the person based on the positional relationship detected by the sensor. The number of the light emitters shining steadily is increased after the drive controller rotates the movable device toward the person.
SYSTEM FOR REMOTELY OPENING A LAND-VEHICLE DOOR
A system for remotely opening a land vehicle door is provided. The system includes a mobile communication device supported on the vehicle and operative to produce a first signal in the form of a first electromagnetic field defined by a field envelope. A hand-held communication device is operative to detect the first electromagnetic field and produce a second signal in the form of a second electromagnetic field when the hand-held device is located within the field envelope. Control logic is coupled to the mobile device and is operative to determine if the hand-held device is an authorized hand-held device. The control logic is operative to determine if a pedestrian carrying an authorized hand-held device is located within the field envelope and to generate a door-opening command signal when the authorized device is located within the field envelope for a predetermined period of time.
SYSTEM FOR ENHANCING THE VISIBILITY OF A GROUND SURFACE ADJACENT TO A LAND VEHICLE
A system for enhancing the visibility of a ground surface adjacent to a land vehicle is provided. The system includes a mobile communication device, a hand-held communication device and control logic coupled to the mobile device and operative to determine if the hand-held device is an authorized device. An imaging assembly is supported on the vehicle to obtain an image of the ground surface. An image processor processes the image to detect an obstacle located on the ground surface. The control logic is operative to generate a display command signal. A display device is responsive to the signal to display in real time the detected obstacle or a welcome mat onto or adjacent the vehicle for enhanced viewing by an approaching pedestrian when the pedestrian carrying the authorized device is located within a predetermined range of the mobile device.
DISPLAY SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE
Provided is a display system for a vehicle. The display system includes a display device installed to be visually recognizable from the outside of a vehicle, and a control device configured to cause the display device to display state information of the vehicle. The control device receives a signal from a sensor that senses a distance from the vehicle to an object around the vehicle, and the control device changes display of the display device based on the distance.
Roll up door assembly with orientable illumination
A lighted roll up door assembly may include a roll up door including interconnected slats movable along tracks, and a lighting element configured to be attached to an exterior side of the roll up door. The lighting element can be mounted so as to direct a substantial portion of the light output toward the roll up door and below a horizontal direction so as to light a portion of the door and an adjacent area below the door at least partially by reflection when the door is in a closed position and so as to light an area on an interior side of the roll up door when the door is in a opened position. The lighting element may be mounted to a fixed or movable member attached to a slat of the roll up door.
