LOW PROFILE REAR LAMP APPLIQUE ASSEMBLY
A rear liftgate assembly with at least one rear lamp applique assembly and process for manufacturing same. The lamp applique assembly includes a rear lamp applique housing with at least one attachment surface for attaching to an outer panel of the liftgate assembly. A plurality of integrated snap attachment features are provided to connect the lamp applique assembly to the outer panel, thereby eliminating additional bonding and fasteners. A self-sealing wire harness connected accepts an integrated lamp connector, thereby eliminating the need for access openings, to further minimize water intrusion, and eliminate gaskets.
Lighting units for vehicles
A lighting unit for a vehicle is disclosed that includes a housing; a radial flange that extends outwardly of the housing; and at least one retainer that is fixedly connected to the radial flange such that the at least one retainer extends rearwardly towards a body of the vehicle during installation to allow for removable connection of the lighting unit to the body of the vehicle from a location forward of the vehicle. The at least one retainer is configured for insertion into a corresponding opening in the body of the vehicle and includes a resilient material that facilitates deflection of the at least one retainer during installation and removal of the lighting unit.
Vehicle lamp
A vehicle lamp is a vehicle lamp having a light source unit configured to radiate light forward and disposed inside of a lighting body constituted by a housing having an opened front surface and a lens cover that covers the opening of the housing, the light source unit includes a circuit board to which a female connector is attached, and a wiring cord to which a male connector is attached, and the housing includes a restricting section that serves as a stopper of the male connector at a position facing an end portion of the male connector on a side opposite to the male connector in an insertion direction of the male connector in a state in which the male connector is inserted into the female connector.
LIGHTING APPARATUS FOR A VEHICLE, METHOD OF INSTALLING A LIGHTING APPARATUS ONTO A VEHICLE, AND LIGHTING APPARATUS KIT FOR A VEHICLE
It is described herein a lighting apparatus for a vehicle. The lighting apparatus may comprise a lighting trim ring and a lighting element attached to an outer surface of the lighting trim ring. Also described herein is a lighting apparatus kit for a vehicle which may comprise the lighting trim ring and the lighting element. Also described herein is a method of installing a lighting apparatus onto a vehicle over an existing automotive lighting fixture such as a head light, tail light, fog light, or marker light.

Fastening Device for a Vehicle Lamp Unit, Lamp Unit for a Vehicle, and Vehicle
A fastening device fastens a lamp unit on a vehicle. The fastening device allows the lamp unit to be fastened to a body part of the vehicle. A lamp unit for the vehicle has a lamp member and a fastening device for fastening the lamp unit to a body part of the vehicle.
VEHICLE LAMP INSTALLATION METHOD AND ASSEMBLY
A vehicle lamp installation method includes, among other things, engaging both a mounting bracket and an outer panel of a vehicle with an alignment fixture that locates the mounting bracket relative to the outer panel in a mounting position. The method further includes securing the mounting bracket to a body structure of the vehicle when the mounting bracket is in the mounting position. A vehicle assembly includes, among other things, a body structure of a vehicle, a mounting bracket secured to the body structure in a mounting position, and an outer panel secured to the body structure. The mounting bracket is located in the mounting position relative to the outer panel using an alignment fixture that engages with both the outer panel and the mounting bracket.
Truck cab light safety lighting device
Systems, devices, and methods for replacing an existing truck cab braking light with an after-market or retrofit universal elongated light emitting diode (LED) light device which can easily replace existing truck cab rear facing brake lights, and do not require different types of light devices for different trucks, and can be rigidly sealed and seated against the rear of the truck cab with additional fasteners. The replacement light system can include three sets of printed circuit boards having LEDS (light emitting diodes) that can be independently operated or operated together, in different colors, such as but not limited to red and white color emissions in various operating conditions. Another embodiment can use an adhesive surface across the back of the replacement brake light system bordered by a compressible weather type strip. A peelable layer can cover the adhesive surface and be peeled off when the replacement light system is to be placed on the upper back portion of the truck cab. The installer can also use some or all of the existing fasteners that were used to hold the existing brake light system in place, in combination with the peel and stick layer.
UNIVERSAL MOUNTING TABS AND KITS FOR AUTOMOTIVE COMPONENTS
Mounting tabs, kits and methods of using the mounting tabs where none previously existed or for replacing/repairing broken mounting tabs are disclosed. For example, the mounting tabs, kits and methods disclosed herein are well suited for the repair of high value components, including automotive components.
SENSOR AND INDICATOR LIGHT MOUNTING STRUCTURE, AND CARGO HANDLING VEHICLE
A sensor and indicator light mounting structure comprising: a single sensor configured to observe an obstacle by emitting an emission wave to an area around a vehicle body of a cargo handling vehicle and receiving a reflection of the emission wave; a single indicator light configured to notify a person around the vehicle body of a presence of the cargo handling vehicle; and a mounting member configured to mount the sensor and the indicator light on the vehicle body, wherein the mounting member is configured to be disposed on an upper surface of the vehicle body, the sensor and the indicator light vertically overlap each other to be mounted on the mounting member, and the indicator light is arranged below the sensor.
