The light module includes at least three forward illuminating illumination sources that, with the lighted exterior rearview mirror assembly attached at the side of the vehicle, are arranged spaced apart at the lighted exterior rearview mirror assembly. With the lighted exterior rearview mirror assembly attached at the side of the equipped vehicle, the at least three forward illuminating illumination sources, when powered, emit light at least in a forward direction with respect to the vehicle. The light module includes a turn signal indicating illumination source and a light piping element. The light piping element guides light emitted by the turn signal indicating illumination source along the light piping element so as to emanate from the light module at an outboard portion of the mirror casing.
Saddle-riding type vehicle
A saddle-riding type vehicle includes: a front object recognition unit (54) which recognizes an object in front of a host vehicle (M); a side object recognition unit (54) which recognizes an object at the rear side of the host vehicle (M); a display unit (42) which notifies a driver of the existence of an object in the periphery of the host vehicle (M); and a notification control unit (160) which determines the existence of an object in front of the host vehicle (M) and the existence of an object at the rear side of the host vehicle (M) on the basis of the recognition result of the front object recognition unit (54) and the side object recognition unit (54) and controls the display unit (42). The notification control unit (160) controls, when it is determined that there is an object at the rear side of the host vehicle (M), the display unit (42) to display a first notification (A1) and controls, when it is determined that there are an object at the rear side of the host vehicle (M) and there is an object in front of the host vehicle (M), the display unit (42) to display a second notification (A2) different from the first notification (A1).
Light module, method for manufacturing a light module and rear view device
The present disclosure refers to a light module, comprising a lens unit, which is formed with a bottom, a lid and one or more side walls between the bottom and the lid, wherein the one or more side walls provide one or more insertion openings; a printed circuit board unit, which carries one or more light sources and is inserted into the lens unit through a first insertion opening of the one or more insertion openings such that light emitted by the one or more light sources exits the light module through the bottom and/or the lid of the lens unit; and a housing unit, which is provided with a bottom opening, a lid opening and one or more side walls between the bottom opening and the lid opening, wherein the lens unit is arranged within the housing unit such that the bottom opening of the housing unit is closed by the bottom of the lens unit, the lid opening of the housing unit is closed by the lid of the lens unit, and the one or more insertion openings of the lens unit is closed by the one or more side walls of the housing unit. It also refers to an external rear view device with such a light unit.
Automobile sideview mirror bracket for mounting auxiliary lights
The present invention is directed toward a device that allows auxiliary lights to be mounted to a side view mirror of a motor vehicle. The device includes a shell which is custom manufactured to conform to a shape of a cover of a sideview mirror on a particular make, model, and year of a motor vehicle. The shell is configured to house one or more auxiliary light elements which can be chosen by a motor vehicle owner. The device also includes one or more air passage sections configured on the shell formed to direct air into an interior of the shell to cool the auxiliary light elements. The device also includes one or more through openings configured on the forward-facing side of the shell to which one or more light covers may be positioned over and arranged in front of the auxiliary light elements.
Polarized window assembly
A window assembly includes an electro-optic element which has a first substantially transparent substrate defining first and second surfaces. The second surface includes a first electrically conductive layer. A second substantially transparent substrate defines third and fourth surfaces. The third surface includes a second electrically conductive layer. A primary seal is disposed between the first and second substrates. The seal and the first and second substrates define a cavity therebetween. An electro-optic medium is disposed in the cavity. The electro-optic medium is switchable such that the electro-optic element is operable between substantially clear and darkened states. An absorptive layer is positioned on the fourth surface of the electro-optic element and a reflective layer is positioned on the absorptive layer.
VEHICLE LAMP STRUCTURE
A vehicle lamp structure includes a housing located at the side of a vehicle and a lamp assembly located inside the housing. The lamp assembly includes a bezel fixed to the housing and a light diffusion unit located at the bezel. The light diffusion unit includes at least two surfaces and a light guide located inside the light diffusion unit. The light guide includes at least two optic surfaces configured to reflect light introduced thereinto. The lamp assembly also includes a light irradiation unit fastened to the light guide and being configured to irradiate light along the light guide.
Apparatus for Side Projection Lamp of a Mobility Device
Proposed is an apparatus for a side projection lamp of a mobility device having a structure as described may secure rear lateral sight from opposite lateral sides of the mobility device and illuminate light of a specific image on a road surface or an outer surface of the mobility device, thereby being allowed to communicate with a driver.
